Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. Still pretty low on spoons today. Still in some higher pain today. However, I wasn’t’ letting this flair keep me down. I just reorganized my makeup room and I really wanted to play in there so… I pushed through it.
For today’s look the Tinny Decisions App chose Deep Cut Crease as the look… so I created this smokey vampy look for today.

Today’s scent is:

Top Notes Are: Sea Notes, Fern, Mandarin Orange and Clary Sage.
Heart Notes Are: White Tea, White Iris and Mate Absolute.
Base Notes Are: Musk Mallow, Exotic Woods, Tonka Bean and Amber.
Now… onto the walkthrough for today’s Face of the Day….

Eyes and Brows:
I set my brows using got2b glued styling spiking hair glue by Schwarzkopf ($14.91 for 3, 6 oz tubes on Amazon, it’s also sold at most drug and big box stores). I brushed the gel through my brows and used the handle of my spoolie brush to flatten my brows out and once they dried I feathered my brows with Huda Beauty #BombBrows Microshade Brow Pencil ($17 for 0.0008 oz/ 0.023 g of product at Sephora) in the shade #7 Black Brown (black hair with warm undertones – Huda’s Shade). I carved out my brows and primed my lids using P.Louise Eye Base ($15 for 0.54 fl oz / 15 mL of product on her website) in the shade Rumour 0 (white). For today’s eye look I used the ColourPop x Disney Mulan 15 shadow Palette *limited edition and no longer available* was $22 for 0.6 oz / 17 g of total product making it 0.04 oz / 1.13 g and $1.47 per shade) and the Juvia’s Place The Warrior II Eyeshadow Palette ($20 for 0.63 oz / 17.86 g of total product at Ulta and on the Juvia’s Place website making it 0.63 oz / 1.98 g and $2.22 per shade). For the sake of easier blogging I’ll refer to them as CP for the Mulan and JP for the Warrior II. I started by setting my brow line with the shade Zaz (egg shell white matte) from JP. For my transition shade (all the way to brow line) I chose the shade imperial (nude taupe – matte) from CP. I then added a second transition shade a tiny bit lower from the brow line I used the shade honor (cool deep brown – matte) from CP. I switched to JP and with shade Yodit (dark mustard brown matte) defined my crease. For the outer 1/3 of my mobile lids and the outer v of the crease I used the shade Kufuru (a syrup brown with a red under-tone matte) from JP. I then deepened the very outer part of the outer v using the shade Walzana (iron grey matte) from JP. I then took a flat shadder brush dipped in micellar water and cut the crease from mid transition down and over 1/2 the mobile lid. I applied more P.Louise Eye Base ($15 for 0.54 fl oz / 15 mL of product on her website) in the shade Rumour 0 (white) and then applied the shade strike a match (icy champagne with pinpoints of bronze – metallic) from CP all over the newly cut crease. I created a deep drop shadow on the lower lash lines starting with more of the shade Yodit (dark mustard brown matte) from JP I then went in with more of the shade imperial (nude taupe – matte) from CP. I then used more of the shade Kufuru (a syrup brown with a red under-tone matte) from JP to deepen the lash line, I also wrapped it around to connect to the outer v of the crease. Finally I used more of the shade Walzana (iron grey matte) from JP do add depth to the drop shadow. I then took more of the shade strike a match (icy champagne with pinpoints of bronze – metallic) from CP to highlight the inner corners of my eyes. I tight lined my upper and lower lash lines using ColourPop BFF Crème Gel Liner ($7 but currently sold out on their website) in the shade Sunnyvale (chestnut brown). I then added a line of NYX Glitter Goals Liquid Eyeliner ($8 for 0.13 oz / 3.69 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Zodiac Queen (gold) on the line of the cut crease.

Complexion:

I primed my face using Urban Decay Ultra Glow All Nighter Primer ($36 for 1 oz/ 30 ml of product at Sephora and Ulta). I contoured using Milk Makeup Flex Foundation Stick ($36 for 0.35 oz / 10 g of product at Sephora) in the shade Rich (very deep with neutral undertones). I added ColourPop Pretty Fresh Hydrating Illuminator ($12 for 1.2 fl oz / 35.49 mL of product at Ulta) in the shade Soft Gold to the high points of my face for some added glow (since the primer did not give me the glow it claims it would… it did however give tons of hydration). For foundation today I used Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation ($29 for 0.94 oz/ 28 mL of product at Sephora) in the shade 140 C (light with cool neutral undertones). I bronzed using Huda Beauty Tantour Contour & Bronzer Cream ($30 for 0.42 oz/ 12g of product at Sephora) in the shade Light (light to medium with cool undertones). I color corrected my under eyes using Wet n Wild Mega Cushion Color Corrector ($5.99 for 0.28 oz / 8 g of product on their website and at Walmart) in the shade Peach and then concealed using Wet n Wild MegaLast Incognito All-Day Full Coverage Concealer ($4.99 for .18 fl oz / 5.5 mL of product at Ulta) in the shade Fair Beige.
Cheeks, Lips, Lashes and Touch Ups:

For blush I used Tarte Sugar Rush – Beach Cheeks Cream Blush ($18 for 0.15 oz / 4.25 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Beaches & Cream (peachy pink). I touched up the highlighter using MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Highlight Face Powder ($37 for 0.35 oz / 9.92 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Soft and Gentle (gilded peach bronze). I set my under eyes using ELF High Definition Powder ($6 on their website – no weight given) and my face using Wet n Wild Photo Focus Loose Setting Powder ($5.99 for 0.7 oz / 19.85 g of product at Ulta). I lined my lips using ColourPop Lippie Pencil ($7 on their website) is the shade BFF4 (deep chestnut nude) and topped my lips using ColourPop Lippie Stix ($7 on their website) in the shade Oh Behave (rich chocolate cherry). I set my face using ColourPop Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Acid Setting Mist ($12 for 3.72 fl oz / 100.01 mL of product at Ulta) and I am using Wet N Wild Photo Focus Pressed Powder ($8.49 for 0.26 oz / 7.5 g of product at Walmart and on their website) in the shade Natural Beige as my touch up powder.
Final Thoughts:

I really love a good vampy glam look. This eye is super smokey and I think elegant. But can be super vampy with the addition of a deep berry, brown, blackened red or even black lip.
Well dolls… I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in great spirits and health.
👄 Remember… Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick 👄
