Hey doll hey!! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I was feeling pretty darn good today. I wanted to play around with my new Alora Cosmetics I Dream in Color palette today and I chose greens to play with first. I don’t really like the way I look in greens but Hubby liked it and some of my people from TikTok liked it so I feel a little better about the look.

I have a huge early birthday haul coming this week…. I was gifted a Juvia’s Place haul and I’m super excited about it…. What till you see what I got… it will have to be in 2 parts I think, because it’s 23 palettes worth of shopping… but I finally have almost all the palettes I wanted… I still need to get my hands on the Wahala and the Taupe palettes but I’ll get them some day.
I didn’t wear perfume today because I have a small headache and didn’t want it to get worse.

Eyes and Brows:

I set my brows using I set my brows using got2b glued styling spiking hair glue by Schwarzkopf ($14.91 for 3, 6 oz tubes on Amazon, it’s also sold at most drug and big box stores) and the Makeup Revolution Soap Styler Brow Brush ($6 on their website) . I brushed the gel through my brows and used the handle of my spoolie brush to flatten my brows out and once they dried I outlined and then filled in the tails of my brows using ELF Lock on Liner and Brow Cream ($4 for 0.19 oz / 5.11 g at Ulta) in the shade Espresso. I did the rest of my face and then came back and filled in the front of my brows using the Anastasia Beverly Bills Micro-Stroking Detailing Brow Pen ($22 for 0.017 fl oz / 0.50 mL at Ulta) in the shade Ebony (for black hair with neutral undertones). I carved out my brows and primed my lids using P.Louise Eye Base ($15 for 0.54 fl oz / 15 mL of product on her website) in the shade Rumour 0.5 (neutral base). For today’s eye look I used the Alora Cosmetics 30 pan palette – I Dream in Color (retails for $38.99 but currently on sale for $32.99 making it $1.30 per shade at retail price and $1.10 per shade on sale on their website). I started by setting my brow line with the shade DreamFul (true white with silver pearl – sequin shadow) from the ColourPop Stone Cold Fox 30 Pan Palette (retails for $34 but is on sale right now for $25.50 for a total weight of 1.16oz / 33 g on their website making it 0.0387 oz / 1.1 g and $1.13 retail price and $0.85 on sale per shade). I then went in with the I Dream in Color palette and took the shade Dirty Martini (dirty lime green – matte) all through the crease and buffed it up into the brow line. I then buffed the brow line with a clean fluffy brush to defuse Dirty Martini more. I then went in with the shade Ivy (moss green – matte) on the outer 1/3 of the mobile lid, into the crease and buffed up into the transition area lower than where I placed Dirty Martini. I then went in with the shade Enchanted (true green – matte) over the outer 1/3 of the mobile lid and into the crease. I then deepened the outer v of the crease and 1/2 of the outer 1/3 of the mobile lid using the ColourPop Hide Tide Palette ($14 but on sale for $10.50 on their website) and the shade lunar (blackened teal – matte). I then took a flat shadder brush and micellar water and cut a high crease over the inner 2/3 of the mobile lid and crease. I applied my of the P.Louise Eye Base ($15 for 0.54 fl oz / 15 mL of product on her website) in the shade Rumour 0.5 (neutral base) to the newly cut crease. I then took the shade Drama Queen (deep true green – metallic with a silver and green flip) and tapped that over the whole cut crease. I then took more of the shade Enchanted (true green – matte) and fluffed that over the line of demarcation between the cut crease and the outer 1/3 of the mobile lid and crease. I tapped Milani Hypnotic Lights Holographic Eye Topper ($10.99 for 0.18 oz / 5 g of product on their website) in the shade 02 Electric Forest (seafoam green with a teal and silver flash) over the whole cut crease to add a bit more definition to the cut crease. I then used the Yellow glitter liner from Alora Cosmetics ($3.99 on sale on their website) over the very edge of the cut crease for an added pop of color. For the lower lash line I created a deep drop shadow using the shade Dirty Martini (dirty lime green – matte). I then went in with the shade Enchanted (true green – matte) and then took a slight bit more of the ColourPop shade lunar (blackened teal – matte) on the lash line just on the outer 1/2 of the lash line. I then took the shade free floatin’ (silvery aqua – metallic) from the the ColourPop Hide Tide Palette ($14 but on sale for $10.50 on their website) as my inner corner highlight of the eyes. I lined the lower water lines using NYX Epic Wear Liner Stick Long Lasting Eyeliner Pencil ($8 at Ulta) Emerald Cut (grass green).
Complexion:

I primed my face using Beauty Bakerie The Butter Hydra Silk Primer ($24 for 0.26 oz / 7.5 g at Ulta). I contoured using Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Stick ($25 for 0.35 oz / 9.92 g at Ulta) in the shade Mink (contour toasted almond). I highlighted the high points of the face using Believe Beauty All Over Glow ($5 for 0.85 fl oz / 25 mL only at Dollar General). My foundation today is L’Oréal True Match Nude Hyaluronic Tinted Serum ($19.99 for 1 fl oz / 30 mL at Ulta) in the shade Light 2-3. I color corrected using Wet n Wild MegaCushion Color Corrector -Peach ($5.99 for 0.28 fl oz / 8.28 mL on their website and at Walmart) and then concealed using Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Concealer ($29 for 0.23 fl oz / 6.80 mL at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade N1 (fair with neutral undertones). I bronzed using ELF Putty Bronzer ($6 for 0.35 oz / 9.92 g at Ulta and on the ELF website) in the shade Sun Kissed.
Cheeks, Lips, Lashes and Touch Ups:

I started with cream blush using Tarte SEA Breezy Cream Blush ($27 for 0.17 oz / 5 g at Sephora) in the shade Peach Sunset (peachy pink). I then baked my T-Zone and set my under eyes using RCMA No Color Powder ($14 for 3 oz / 85.05 g on the Beautylish website and at Camera Ready Cosmetics). I had to brighten the center of my face a bit because the foundation was just a tad darker than I am. I set the rest of my face using Milani Make It Last Setting Powder ($10.99 for 0.14 oz / 3.97 g at Ulta) in the shade 01 Translucent Light to Medium. I then touched up my bronzer using BH Cosmetics Tanned in Tulum – 6 Color Bronzer & Highlighter Palette ($17 for a total of 0.84 oz / 23.81 g at Ulta and on their website, making it 0.14 oz / 3.97 g and $2.83 per shade) in the shade El Castillo, my blush using Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush ($29 for 0.2 oz / 5.67 g at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade Captivating (bright peach). I added a bit more highlight using Wet n Wild MegaGlo Highlighting Powder ($5.99 for 0.19 oz / 5.37 g at Ulta) in the shade Blossom Glow. I lined my lips using ColourPop Lippie Pencil (this shade is no longer available) in the shade Lumiere (dark mauve) and topped it off with Huda Beauty Demi Matte Cream Liquid Lipstick ($20 at Sephora) in the shade Game Changer (coral).I added a coat of Flower Beauty Lash Warrior Mascara ($10.49 for 0.35 oz / 9.92 g of product at Ulta) and then popped on a pair of Eylure Vegas Nay Grand Glamour False Lashes ($12.99 for a 3 pack at Ulta). I then filled in the front of my brows and created hair like flicks throughout the whole brow using the Anastasia Beverly Bills Micro-Stroking Detailing Brow Pen ($22 for 0.017 fl oz / 0.50 mL at Ulta) in the shade Ebony (for black hair with neutral undertones). I set my face using ColourPop Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Acid Setting Mist ($12 for 3.72 fl oz / 100.01 mL of product at Ulta). I did not need touch up powder because I only kept my makeup on for a few hours whilst I took pictures for the blog and did my TikTok videos and had a few video calls so I didn’t need to touch up at all.
Final Thoughts:

So I love to wear the color green in clothing but as far as eyeshadow I tend to like greens a bit more concentrated to either the outer or inner part of the lids, an all over green isn’t something that I feel likes right on me. However I did have several people tell me they really like it on me… so I guess I’m going to have to experiment a bit more with it to see if I can find away that I like it more.

Poolside Chic 12 Piece Brush Set (retails for $29 but is 50% off right now making it $14.50 on their website) is billed as the essence of summer glam, a versatile collection of face and eye brushes that buff, blend and luminate your features to perfection. This set also came with a travel makeup bag.
I give this brush set a solid A+++!!! These brushes were so easy to work with, sadly the green shadows stained all the eye brushes.
BH Cosmetics Sweet Shoppe Sprinkles 9 Piece Brush Set (retails for $24 but is on 40% Sale for $14.40 on their website) is billed as featuring super-soft, light-pink synthetic bristles, silver ferrules and pink handles with sprinkles on top, these delish face and eye brushes blend, shade and define like a dream with effortless application and precision.
I give these brushes a solid A+++ The brushes are super cute and are easy to work with but the were a bit fiddly when trying to buff the shadows out.

L’Oréal True Match Nude Hyaluronic Tinted Serum ($19.99 for 1 fl oz / 30 mL at Ulta) is billed as the 1st tinted serum with 1 percent Hyaluronic Acid. Instantly brightens, evens and hydrates all in one. This foundation comes in 10 shades and I chose the shade Light 2-3.
I give this foundation a solid A++ I would love to rate this one higher truly I would but the shade rage is terrible on this one. I understand it’s a skin tint but this shade is really a medium not a light. It’s beautiful on the skin… gives a natural glow to the face and blends in perfectly… but the shade is too deep to really be light.

Anastasia Beverly Bills Micro-Stroking Detailing Brow Pen ($22 for 0.017 fl oz / 0.50 mL at Ulta) is billed as a waterproof, superfine-tipped pen ideal for defining brows by micro-stroking with precision application This pen comes in 9 shades and I have it in the shade Ebony (for black hair with neutral undertones).
I give this brow pen a solid A+++!!! This pen was easy to work with… gave great hair strokes… didn’t smear when I set my face… and really gave the appearance of fluffy brows.

ELF Putty Bronzer ($6 for 0.35 oz / 9.92 g at Ulta and on the ELF website) is billed as a unique putty-to-powder bronzer that delivers highly pigmented, buildable color for a natural sun-kissed glow. This bronzer comes in 6 shades and I purchased the shade Sun Kissed.
I give this bronzer a solid O+ I think they changed their putty formula because this bronze blended in like a dream. It’s the perfect tone, texture and pigmentation. This is such an amazing bronzer it’s quality rivals some high end brands.

BH Cosmetics Tanned in Tulum – 6 Color Bronzer & Highlighter Palette ($17 for a total of 0.84 oz / 23.81 g at Ulta and on their website, making it 0.14 oz / 3.97 g and $2.83 per shade) is billed as perfect for every skin tone, these multi-dimensional matte & shimmer shades that leave behind a bronzed glow that stays fresh through a day of going off the grid in the jungle beachscape.
I give the bronzer shade El Castillo a solid A+++ The bronzer is finely milled, buttery smooth and has a tone that works well for my skin tone. I tend to shy away from orange based bronzer because they don’t look very flattering on me but this one truly looked pretty on me.

Milani Make It Last Setting Powder ($10.99 for 0.14 oz / 3.97 g at Ulta) is billed as an ultra-fine translucent loose powder that sets and extends makeup wear with a soft-focus finish. This setting powder comes in 3 shades and a radiance formula and I chose the shade 01 Translucent Light to Medium.
I give this setting powder a solid O I would rate it higher if there was more product in it…. but the way this powder looks on the skin is amazing and so I gave it an O…. it sets the base perfectly without looking like there is any powder at all… I truly didn’t need to use setting spray at all but being a creature of habit I used it anyway.

Eylure Vegas Nay Grand Glamour False Lashes ($12.99 for a 3 pack at Ulta) is billed as enjoy a wispy layered style that adds length to any look.
I give these lashes a solid A++ I love the look of these lashes, but the bands are so rigid that it took me 3 tries to get them to mold to my lids. Now that I understand that I can work with them better… but I would have loved these if the bands were just a tad easier to work with.

Alora Cosmetics 30 pan palette – I Dream in Color (retails for $38.99 but currently on sale for $32.99 making it $1.30 per shade at retail price and $1.10 per shade on sale on their website) is billed as everything you can ever want in a pallet. I Dream in Color has it all! 30 beautiful colors. 17 mattes 11 shimmers and 2 pressed glitters.
I give the greens in this palette a solid O+++!!! The pigment on these shadows is insane!!! The formula is finely milled and velvety soft. The metallics are smooth and almost liquid like. They blended well and buffed into one another with out going patchy and even played well with shadows from other brands.
And with that today’s walkthrough is complete. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in great spirits and health.
👄Remember, Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick👄
