August 2021 Haul #7 NARS

Hey doll hey!!! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I’m still feeling pretty weak and am having a super high pain day…. I did however get my NARS order in the mail so I wanted to make sure I got this post up….

The items I purchased from the NARS website.

Let’s take a closer look at this haul, swatches and first impressions…

*As always… All products listed we purchased for me, all links provided are purely for convenience purposes to help you find the product quickly and are in no way affiliate links. The swatches are done on clean bare skin with no primer and are done in 1 swipe and with flash to maximize color payoff*

NARS Tinted Glow Booster ($30 for 1 fl oz / 30 mL of product on their website) is billed as  a customizable complexion enhancer with long-term skin benefits that adds an alluring glow and a soft-focus effect to skin while extending the wear of makeup for up to 16 hours. Lightweight and layerable, it can be worn in a multitude of ways—alone, under foundation, or as natural illumination on the highpoints of the face. Featuring NARS’ exclusive Jojoba Hydraglow Complex, a dynamic combination of Jojoba Elixir for deep nourishment, with Jojoba Gel for a dewy finish. Skin-tone colored pearls help to brighten and illuminate skin for a naturally perfected, filtered look. Available in four shades.

This limited edition glow booster comes in 4 shades (light, medium, medium deep and deep) and I purchased the light shade called Kalvoya.

First Impressions: This gives the skin the prettiest lit from within glow! It reminds me of the BECCA Light Shifter Dewing Tint, the BECCA Backlight Priming Filter or the Charlette Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter only this one is more subtle, it gives the skin this radiant natural glow.

NARS Radiant Creamy Color Corrector ($30 for 0.22 fl oz / 6 mL of product on their website) is billed as the ultimate companion to bestselling Radiant Creamy Concealer. NARS’ custom blend of red-toned pigments neutralizes blue and purple-toned imperfections in skin for optical correction. When used over time, combined benefits of White Water Lily and Red Spiderling Flower Extract help brighten the appearance of skin and soothe while defending against free radicals. Luminous Filler contains micropowders that visibly fill in small wrinkles, creases, and furrows as well as other skin imperfections, smoothing the appearance of skin’s unevenness and preparing for better makeup application. Innovative lightweight formula dries down quickly and feels weightless for untraceable color correction that won’t alter your shade of foundation or concealer.

This corrector comes in 4 shades (light, medium, medium deep and deep) and I purchased the shade Light (light peach to brighten under eyes on fair to light skin tones and color correct light to medium skin tones).

First Impressions: The applicator is a brush tip and not a sponge tip so getting just a touch of product out is going to be tricky, and then there is the fact that this isn’t really a brightening peach shade, it’s more of a salmon or peachy orange shade… it does look brightening but I am afraid this one might be too orange based for my skin tone… I’ll have to keep you posted.

NARS Audacious Lipstick ($34 for 0.14 oz / 4.2 g of product on their website) is billed as the cult-favorite Audacious Lipstick is so shamelessly seductive in touch and texture—the sensation is audacious. Unadulterated luxury glides on like satin across skin with single-stroke coverage in a spectrum of shades. Bold, ultra-saturated color feels hydrating and stays put—does not bleed or feather. The NARS logo is embossed on the lipstick bullet. Bold by design. Shamelessly seductive. An Allure Best of Beauty winner.

This lipstick comes in 29 shades and I purchased the shade Juliette (pink coral).

First Impressions: I actually don’t have one, I purchased this shade thinking I had lost my original Juliette and whilst cleaning out my lipsticks I found it… so I gifted this one to my niece.

NARS Lipstick ($26 for 0.12 oz / 3.5 g of product on their website) is billed as a new lineup of Lipstick inspired by the revolutionary vision of Francois Nars. Bring on bolds and brights for groundbreaking style; expose yourself with seductive nudes that leave nothing to hide. Dynamic blend of Moringa and Passion Fruit Seed Oils enhances color vibrancy and conditions lips for radically lightweight wear and unprecedented feel.

This lipstick comes in 60 shades with 3 finishes and I purchased the shade Living Doll (sheer pink coral).

First Impressions: Whilst I am familiar with the formula (I own the lipstick in the shade Inappropriate Red –matte poppy red) I have not tried the cream formula and I am in love! It’s so creamy and feels amazing on the lips. This shade is amazing as well.

This lipstick comes in 60 shades with 3 finishes and I purchased the shade Chelsea Girls (sheer pink beige).

First Impressions: I have had Chelsea Girls in the lip gloss formula for years and have always wanted to pick up the lipstick… It’s so stinkin’ beautiful!!! I have a feeling I will need to purchase this one again soon because I wont be able to put it down.

NARS Liquid Blush ($30 for 0.5 fl oz / 15 mL of product on their website) is billed as a uniquely buildable and blendable formula that allows you to create your perfect cheek color by using anywhere from one drop to a full pump. Ideal for mixing textures: layer over powder blush for high-impact color, or apply first for a diffused effect. Includes Monoi and Tamanu oils, known for extra moisture and resilience.

This blush comes in 3 shades (I already owned Orgasm – sheer warm pink with golden shimmer) I purchased Torrid (warm coral with golden shimmer).

First Impressions: Whilst I have tried the formula before this is the first time I have the shade Torrid. It’s super pretty and super pigmented. The swatch above is of 1 full pump and when blended in it spread the length of my arm so that tells me I will only need less than 1/2 a pump for both cheeks.

NARS Blush ($30 for 0.16 oz / 4.8 g of product on their website) is billed as the  cult-favorite, bestselling NARS Blush delivers a weightless, natural-looking rush of cheek color in matte, satin, and shimmering finishes. Superfine micronized powder pigments ensure an irresistibly soft, blendable application. Buildable shades from sheer to bold deliver a natural wash of color to every skin tone—a light swipe of even the highest-intensity hues deliver a natural-looking flush. Superfine and silky powder. Irresistible and inimitable.

This blush comes in 26 shades (I already owned Orgasm – peachy pink with gold shimmer and Dolce Vita – matte dusty rose) and I purchased the shade Torrid (warm coral with gold shimmer).

First Impressions: Whilst I am familiar with the formula this color is new to me… I am in love with the shade and whistle Orgasm has a ton of shimmer to it, Torrid is more of a satin sheen than a sparkle blush.

NARS Matte Bronzing Powder ($38 for 0.49 oz / 14 g of product on their website) is billed as long lasting matte warmth.

It comes in 4 shades and I chose the shade Samoa (matte deep golden brown).

First Impressions: I have used the famous Laguna bronzer on and off all year, however I don’t always want a shimmery bronze… This isn’t a true matte bronzer it’s more of a satin bronzer. It’s beautiful and I can’t wait to start using it.

NARS Highlighting Powder ($38 for 0.49 oz / 14 g of product on their website) is billed as no glitter, just glow that’s an uncompromising innovation delivers next-level luminosity with Seamless Glow Technology—a blend of sheer powders and pearls to create second-skin luster that blends effortlessly. Its satin-soft, micro-spherical powder layers evenly and weightlessly, fusing onto all skin tones.

This highlighter comes in 6 shades and I purchased the shade Fort de France (Champagne).

First Impressions: I have used their cream highlighter sticks but have never tried their powder highlights… WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL MY LIFE!!!???? This highlighter is stunning… it’s a lit from within glow that just melts into the skin…leaves the skin looking like glowy skin, not makeup. It’s not too over the top and it’s definitely now where near completely subtle. I have a feeling this is going to be in my end of the year favorites this year.

And with that this haul has come to it’s end….

I hope that you enjoy the rest of your day/night 🌞🌜 and that you are in great spirits and health.

👄Remember, Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick👄
