Smokey Turquoise Face of the Day

Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I’m doing pretty darn good today.

I wanted a smokey look but with color instead of a traditional brown or black smokey look.

For today’s look I used the Alter Ego Artemis 28 Pan Palette ($22 for 0.48 oz / 13.5 g of total product on their website making it 0.017 oz / 0.48 g and $0.79 per shade).

Today’s scent is…

Versace Red Jeans ($23.06 for 2.5 fl oz 73.93 mL of product at Walmart) was released in 1994 and is a sweet woodsy floral with notes of:

Top Notes: Black Currant, Peach, Freesia and Apricot.

Heart Notes: Water Lily, Rose, Violet, Lily of the Valley and Ylang Ylang

Base Notes: Musk, Vanilla and Sandalwood.

On to the walk-through of today’s Face of the Day…

I set my brows using I set my brows using got2b glued styling spiking hair glue by Schwarzkopf ($14.91 for 3, 6 oz tubes on Amazon, it’s also sold at most drug and big box stores) and the Makeup Revolution Soap Styler Brow Brush ($6 on their website) . I brushed the gel through my brows and used the handle of my spoolie brush to flatten my brows out and once they dried I outlined and then filled in my whole brows using Juvia’s Place I Sculpt I Shade Eyebrow Pencil ($12 for 0.017 oz / 0.5 g of product on their website) in the shade Ebony (the darkest shade). I cut my brow line and primed my lids using Beauty Creations Color Base Primer ($4.00 for 0.5 fl oz / 15 mL of product on their website) in the shade Ballerina Girl (nude) . For today’s eye look I used the Alter Ego Artemis 28 Pan Palette ($22 for 0.48 oz / 13.5 g of total product on their website making it 0.017 oz / 0.48 g and $0.79 per shade). I started by setting my brow line with the shade Aladdin (pure white – matte) from the I Heart Revolution x Disney Princesses ($20 for 0.54 oz / 16.2 g of total eyeshadow, 0.6 oz / 17.4 g of total blush and 0.6 oz / 17.4 g of total highlighter making it 0.03 oz / 0.9 g per shadow, 0.2 oz / 5.58 g per blush and highlighter and making each shade in this palette $0.83 on their website). Final Thoughts:

I’ve been in a fall type mood lately so I think this eye look is fitting. It’s so much prettier in real life and that deep teal really does pop.

Juvia’s Place I Sculpt, I Shade Brow Pencil ($12 for 0.017 oz / 0.5 g of product on their website) is billed as easily add dimension to your brow and control micro-strokes. No smudging or overly-thick lines. Create natural-looking fullness with featherlight strokes to balance the contours of each brow. This innovative formula glides on easily, and is super, long-lasting with a 24-hour wear time. Simply Sculpt and Shade, and your good to go! It comes in 4 shades and I purchased the shade Ebony (the darkest shade).

I give this brow pencil a solid A+++!!! This is a really nice pencil. It’s not too waxy yet not too creamy either it’s the perfect marriage of both. It stayed in place all day and was easy to feather through my brows.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Liner ($18 for 0.08 fl oz/ 2.4 mL of product at Ulta) is billed as a waterproof, highly pigmented, true-black matte liquid liner that glides on evenly and delivers precise lines with ease. Featuring a soft felt-tip precision applicator, this liner lets you flawlessly create everything from sharp thin lines to dramatic bold lines without skipping or running. This is a brush wand applicator.

I give this liquid liner a solid O+++!!! This liquid liner is perfection!!! It’s not to wet, doesn’t crack or feather into my fine lines and stays put all day. It’s the perfect shade of black and was increadably easy to do a micro wing with.

With that, today’s face of the day walkthrough is over.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night 🌞🌜 and that you are in great spirits and health 😄🩺
