Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I’m doing pretty good today, better energy and my normal pain level (7).
After swatching the ColourPop palettes yesterday I just knew I wanted to play with the Fade into Hue palette. Today’s scent is…

Heart Notes: Peony, Lily of the Valley, Pink Orchid and Freesia.
Base Notes: Ambrox, Musk and Sandalwood.

Eyes and Brows:

I set my brows using I set my brows using got2b glued styling spiking hair glue by Schwarzkopf ($14.91 for 3, 6 oz tubes on Amazon, it’s also sold at most drug and big box stores) and the Makeup Revolution Soap Styler Brow Brush ($6 on their website) . I brushed the gel through my brows and used the handle of my spoolie brush to flatten my brows out and once they dried I outlined and then filled in my whole brows using LA Girl Brow Pomade ($5.99 for 0.27 oz / 7.65 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Dark Brown (the deepest color). I cut my brow line and primed my lids using Beckisue Eyeshadow Primer (is no longer on Amazon but there are several replacement brands with the same formula on Amazon) in the shade #1 (medium). For today’s look I used the ColourPop Fade into Hue 20 Pan Palette ($34 for 0.80 oz / 22.7 g of total product on their website making it 0.27 oz / 0.76 g and $1.13 per shade) and 2 shades from the Jacy Cosmetics Vintage Rose 30 Pan Palette ($39.99 for 0.21 oz / 66 g of total product on their website making it 0.007 oz / 2.2 g and $1.33 per shade). I started with the Jacy palette and the shade Porcelain (dusty white – matte) to set my brow line. I then used the shade Elegance (pale peach based tan – matte) as a first transition shade. For the rest of the look I used only the ColourPop palette. I started with the shade paradise (vivid hot red pink – matte) as my crease shade. I also took this shade over the outer 1/2 of my mobile lids. I then used the shade lovecraft (mid-tone warm pink – matte) to blend out the crease up to the brow line. I then cut a half and low cut crease using micellar water and a flat concealer brush and then took some P.Louise Base ($15 for 0.50 fl oz / 15 mL of product on their website) in the shade Rumor 0 (white) and cleaned up the newly cut crease. I then took the shade art deco (vivid yellow orange with gold pearl – sequin matte) and patted it over the inner 1/3 of the mobile lid of the new cut crease… leaving just the very upper part of the cut crease blank. Over the empty space that was left behind from applying the shade Art Deco I tapped the shade watermark (vivid cerulean blue with silver pearl – sequin matte). Over the middle 1/3 of the cut crease I used the shade atelier (bright hot pink with hot pink pearl – sequin matte). For the outer v of the crease I used the shade zeitgeist (eggplant – matte). I wanted more texture tot he look so I added the shade so precious (warm peach glitter with a gold and green shift duochrome – metallic) over the top of the inner 1/3 of the mobile lid, the shade prismatic (mid-tone pink with rainbow pinpoints – glitter) over the middle 1/3 of the cut crease and the shade kaleidoscope (pale blue with pinpoints of teal, blue, and purple glitter – glitter) over the outer v of the crease. For the lower lash line I used the shade abstract (primary yellow – matte) on the inner 1/3 of the lower lash line, a combo of the shades haute (soft emerald green with gold pinpoints – metallic) and bold type (deep teal – matte) over the middle 1/3 of the lower lash lines and a combo of the shades majestic (bright violet – matte) and zeitgeist (eggplant – matte) for the outer 1/3 of the lower lash line connecting it to the outer v of the crease. I added the shade lucky charm (opal gold with teal and gold pinpoints – glitter) over the inner 1/3 of the lower lash lines. I lined the lower water lines using ColourPop BFF Crème Gel Liner ($7 on their website) in the shade Crystal Crush (vivid turquoise).
Complexion:

I primed my face using Makeup Forever Step 1 Primer Pore Minimizer ($37 for 1 fl oz / 30 mL and $17 for 0.5 oz / 15 mL of product at Sephora). I contoured using NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop 24HR Full Coverage Matte Concealer ($8.50 for 0.11 fl oz / 3.50 mL of product at Ulta) in the shade Walnut (deep deep with neutral under tones). For foundation I chose E.L.F. Camo CC Cream ($14 for 1.05 fl oz / 31.05 mL of product at Ulta) in the shade Light 210 N (the 4th shade in the line) . I color corrected my under eyes using LA Girl HD Pro Corrector Concealer ($4.99 for 0.28 fl oz / 8.28 mL of product at Ulta) in the shade Peach (neutralizes dark spots for light skin tones). I bronzed my facing using NudeStix Nudies Matte Blush & Bronze ($34 for 0.25 oz/ 7 g of product at Sephora) in the shade Bondi Bae (bronzed nude). I highlighted the high points of the face using Paw Paw: Glow Baby Liquid Highlighter ($1.55 for 0.20 fl oz / 6 mL of product each on the Shop Miss A website) in the shade Golden Rose. I concealed my under eyes using Beauty Bakerie InstaBake 3 in 1 Concealer ($20 for 0.19 fl oz / 5.62 mL of product at Ulta) in the shade #017 Frappe Hour (the 2nd lightest shade).
Cheeks, Lips, Lashes and Touch Ups:

For my cream blush I used bareMinerals Bounce and Blur Blush ($29 for 0.19 oz / 5.39 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Pink Sky (poppy pink). I set my under eyes using BECCA Under Eye Brightening Setting Powder (no longer available due to company closing). I set the rest of my face using Fenty by Rihanna Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Setting Powder ($32 for 0.98 oz/ 28 g and $18 for Size 0.27 oz/ 7.8 g of product at Sephora) in the shade Butter (for fair to medium skin tones). I retouched my bronzer using Flower Beauty Heatwave Luminous Bronzer ($11.29 for 0.2 oz / 5.67 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Sunswept M1 (warm bronzer form medium to tan skin tones), my blush using Makeup Revolution Blusher Reloaded ($7 for 0.26 oz / 7.5 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Pink Lady (classic blue toned pink) and my highlighter using Pixi x Rachh Loves The Layers Highlighting Palette ($24 for 0.27oz / 7.65 g the smaller pans and 0.54 oz / 15.3 g the larger pans total… making it 0.09 oz / 2.55 g the smaller pans and 0.27 oz / 7.65 g the larger pans and $4.80 per shade) in the shade Lace (pale pink champagne). I lined my lips and filled them in using ColourPop Lippie Pencil (shade no long available) in the shade Dial Up (bright fuchsia) and topped it off with ColourPop Ultra Blotted Lip ($9 on their site) in the shade Usagi (mid-tone pink) and then topped the whole lip off with Vintage Vanity Cosmetics Hollywood Pout Luxe ($10 on their website) in the shade Lena (hot pink). I gave my lashes 1 coat of MAC Extended Play Gigablack Lash Mascara ($21 for 0.19 fl oz / 5.62 mL of product at Ulta) and popped on a pair of Beauty Creations 35 mm Faux Mink Lashes ($6.99 on their website) in the style Bad Habits. I set my face using Beauty Bakerie Spray Your Grace Setting Spray ($18 for 3.4 fl oz / 100 mL of product at Ulta). For touch ups today I used Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder ($45 for 0.28 oz / 7.94 g and $25 for 0.11 oz / 3.4g of product at Sephora) in the shade 2 Medium.
Final Thoughts:

I am so in love with the way this look came out. I didn’t really know what direction I was going. I only knew I wanted to play with as many colors as I could. I typically don’t do bold looks like this (out side of holidays and pride month) so it was fun to step out of my comfort zone and just let go and let my artistic spirit take over. This is a look I think I would do again but instead of having the blue at the top I think I would do the green there and the blue on the lower lash line. At any rate today’s makeup play was super fun to do.

Beauty Creations 35 mm Faux Mink Lashes ($6.99 on their website) in the style Bad Habits.
I give these falsies a solid A+++!!! These are some serious lashes!! Much fuller than I normally wear but super pretty and fluffy and perfect for bold statement looks. I’m curious to see how these would look on a low maintenance day.

ColourPop Fade into Hue 20 Pan Palette ($34 for 0.80 oz / 22.7 g of total product on their website making it 0.27 oz / 0.76 g and $1.13 per shade) is billed as a fantasyland of abstract colors that features a mixture of sparkling metallics, blinged-out Pressed Glitters, and the richest mattes.
There are 11 mattes, 5 metallics, 3 duochrome metallics, 7 sequin mattes and 4 glitters.
I’ve swatched this palette top to bottom in rows of same colors.
The shades from left to right and top picture to bottom picture are: fantasyland (icy baby pink – metallic), lovecraft (mid-tone warm pink – matte), prismatic (mid-tone pink with rainbow pinpoints – glitter), atelier (bright hot pink with hot pink pearl – sequin matte), paradise (vivid hot red pink – matte), treasure (soft peach – matte), so precious (warm peach glitter with a gold and green shift duochrome – metallic), art deco (vivid yellow orange with gold pearl – sequin matte), retro dream (true coral – metallic), love + warhol (neon coral with silver pearl – sequin matte), lucky charm (opal gold with teal and gold pinpoints – glitter), big smile (pastel yellow with silver pearl – sequin matte), shine bright (buttery yellow – metallic), bonus points (warm yellow – matte), abstract (primary yellow – matte), designer (chartreuse with blue pinpoints – sequin matte), pose (icy lime – metallic), dyed up (kelly green – matte), haute (soft emerald green with gold pinpoints – metallic), bold type (deep teal – matte), take it easel (pastel baby blue – matte), kaleidoscope (pale blue with pinpoints of teal, blue, and purple glitter – glitter), hot copic (blue with a teal and purple shift – duochrome metallic), watermark (vivid cerulean blue with silver pearl – sequin matte), iconic (cobalt blue – matte), express (pale lilac with a pink shift – duochrome metallic), selfie (cool lavender with silver pearl – sequin matte), majestic (bright violet – matte), nouveau (true purple – metallic) and zeitgeist (eggplant – matte).
I give this palette a solid O+++!!! This is the most flawless rainbow palette I’ve ever owned! When I first saw pictures of this palette I skipped over it because I wasn’t one for bold bright eye looks. As I got more into color play I kept putting it in and taking it out of my cart but never really purchasing it. Until I realized I own all of the ColourPop 30 pan palettes minus this one and since I was really starting to like playing in vivid colors I finally pulled the trigger and purchased it. If ever you are in the market for a rainbow palette with heaps of variation and loads of different textures…. give this little beauty a try.
With that, today’s face of the day walkthrough is over.
I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night 🌞🌜 and that you are in great spirits and health 😄🩺.
👄Remember, Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick👄
