Soft Glam Fall Look – Face of the Day

Hey doll hey!!! How’s your day going? I’m doing great. I was able to hold food down, there is no more PMS, no more female pain and my energy is doing pretty darn good today.

I wanted to do a soft glam look because I was trying out what I thought was a glam lash… the lash let me down but the look is stunning in person… for some reason the shadows aren’t showing the true intensity of this look today.

For today’s look I used Fenty Beauty by Rhianna Snap Shadows Mix & Match Eyeshadow Palette ($25 for 0.035 oz / 1 g of product on their website making it $4.16 per shadow) in the limited edition shade #9 Wine (rich neutrals) and MIKAYLA X GLAMLITE 30 PAN PALETTE ($42 for 1.26 oz / 36 g of product on their website making it 0.042 oz / 1.2 g and $1.40 per shade).

Today’s scent is…

JLo Love and Glamour ($56.11 for 2.5 fl oz / 73.93 mL of product at Walmart) was released is 2010 and is an aquatic sweet floral with notes of:

Top Notes: Guava, Nectarine and Mandarin Orange.

Heart Notes: Coconut Orchid, Water Lily, African Orange Flower Absolute and Jasmine Petals.

Base Notes: Sandalwood, Musk and Amber.

Let’s get into the walkthrough of today’s Face of the Day…..

I set my brows using I set my brows using got2b glued styling spiking hair glue by Schwarzkopf ($14.91 for 3, 6 oz tubes on Amazon, it’s also sold at most drug and big box stores) which I applied with a disposable lip gloss wand and combed through with a disposable mascara wand and once they dried I outlined and then filled in my whole brows using the Fenty Beauty by Rhianna Brow MVP Ultra Fine Brow Pencil & Styler ($20 for 0.0024 oz / 0.07 g at Sephora) in the shade Black-Brown (dark brown to black hair with neutral undertones). I then deepened the lash line using more of the shade Pinot Please (deep plum – matte) from the Fenty palette. I then buffed the lash line to soften the darkness using more of the shade Sherry Fairy (medium caramel brown – matte) from the Fenty palette. I highlighted the inner corners of my eyes using the ColourPop Super Shock Shadow ($7 for 0.074 oz / 2.1 g of product on their website) in the shade Lady Bird (soft ivory with multi-dimensional silver glitter). I lined my lower water lines using NYX Epic Wear Liner Stick Long Lasting Eyeliner Pencil ($8 for 0.043 oz / 1.22 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Orange Zest (orange).

Complexion:

I primed my face using Wet n Wild Photo Focus Dewy Face Primer ($5.99 for 0.84 fl oz / 25 mL of product at Ulta). I contoured the cheek bones, nose and forehead using NYX Wonder Stick ($12 for 0.28 oz / 7.94 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Medium. I concealed the sides of my nose to clean up my contour using the BECCA Cosmetics Ultimate Coverage Longwear Concealer (No Longer Available – has 0.21 oz/ 6 g of product) in the shade Linen. and then patted what ever was left on my sponge under my eyes to conceal them.

I coated my lashes in 1 coat of Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Lashes Mascara ($29 for 0.27 oz / 7.65 g of product at Sephora) and popped on a pair of KISS Lash Couture Faux Mink (this style discontinued) in the style Midnight. I then feathered hair strokes through my brows using Juvia’s Place i Sculpt, I Shade Brow Pen ($14 for 0.017 fl oz / 0.5 mL of product at Ulta and the Juvia’s Place website) in the shade Ebony (the deepest shade). Final Thoughts:

In person my mobile lids pop so bright with that outer v of the crease. I think this look would have been better with a different pair of lashes… one of the pair of lashes that I was to use this week finely expired and so I opened a fresh pair but they do not do this look justice.

1. ColourPop Super Shock Shadow ($7 for 0.074 oz / 2.1 g of product on their website) in the shade Lady Bird (soft ivory with multi-dimensional silver glitter).

I give this super shock shadow a solid O+++!!! This shade is amazingly beautiful and bright and makes the perfect inner corner highlight.

2. ColourPop Super Shock Shadow ($7 for 0.074 oz / 2.1 g of product on their website) in the shade I See the Light (icy pink lavender with gold and violet pin points).

I give this super shock shadow a solid A+++!!! This shadow is pretty but on the eyes it doesn’t translate as having any lavender or violet in it.

3. Fenty Beauty by Rhianna Snap Shadows Mix & Match Eyeshadow Palette ($25 for 0.035 oz / 1 g of product on their website making it $4.16 per shadow) in the limited edition shade #9 Wine (rich neutrals).

I give this palette a solid O+++!!! This palette is such a stunner! The shades pair well together and work perfectly with other formulas. This palette goes easily from day to night and the shadows are super creamy. There was no kick back or fall out.

Time sure flies when I’m talking about makeup!!

Hope you have a great rest of your day/night 🌞🌜 and that you are in great spirits and health 😄🩺

👄Remember, Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick👄.
