Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope… I’m doing good today.

I wanted to play around with the Glamlite x Mikayla palette a little more and decided to work with the blues. For this look I used the Earth & Ocean Eyeshadow Palette ($14 for this 18 pan palette) and the MIKAYLA X GLAMLITE 30 PAN PALETTE ($42 for 1.26 oz / 36 g of product on their website making it 0.042 oz / 1.2 g and $1.40 per shade).
Today’s scent is…

Top Notes: Pomegranate, Peach, Lush Green Accord, Persimmon, Passionfruit and Raspberry.
Middle Notes: Black Orchid, Lotus Blossom and Champaca Flower.
Base Notes: Amber, Musk, Black Violet, Cream Accord, Mahogany Wood, Black Violet, Patchouli and Vanilla.

Let’s get into the walkthrough for today’s Face of the Day….

Eyes and Brows:

I set my brows using I set my brows using got2b glued styling spiking hair glue by Schwarzkopf ($14.91 for 3, 6 oz tubes on Amazon, it’s also sold at most drug and big box stores) which I applied with a disposable lip gloss wand and combed through with a disposable mascara wand and once they dried I outlined and then filled in my whole brows using the Fenty Beauty by Rhianna Brow MVP Ultra Fine Brow Pencil & Styler ($20 for 0.0024 oz / 0.07 g at Sephora) in the shade Black-Brown (dark brown to black hair with neutral undertones). I craved out my brow line and primed my lids using the P.Louise Base ($14 for 0.54 fl oz / 15 mL of product on their website) in Rumor 0.5. For today’s eye look I used 2 palettes: the Earth & Ocean Eyeshadow Palette ($14 for this 18 pan palette) and the MIKAYLA X GLAMLITE 30 PAN PALETTE ($42 for 1.26 oz / 36 g of product on their website making it 0.042 oz / 1.2 g and $1.40 per shade). I also used 3 ColourPop Super Shock Shadows in today’s look. I applied tape to the outside edges of my eyes to make sure I get a crisp edge. I started by packing on the shade Abyss (deep ocean blue – matte) from the E.L.F. palette. I packed into the crease and just slightly above the crease in a half moon shape and I did not blend this shade out…. for this look I used the 50/50% technique I spoke of last yesterday…. ↓

I then went into the Glamlite palette and using the shade Masshole (bright true blue – matte) I buffed the edges of the first shade 50% on the crease shade and 50% on the transition area ↓.

Staying with the same palette I took the shade Rhody (bright light blue – matte) and buffed the transition shade 50% on the transition shade and 50% on the brow line and then I took a flat concealer brush and some micellar water and cut a half moon shaped crease ↓.

I then applied more P.Louise to the newly cut crease and tapped it out with a beauty sponge. I then used the ColourPop Super Shock Shadow ($7 for 0.074 oz / 2.1 g of product on their website) in the shade Arabian Nights (icy turquois with silver pin points) and patted that over the inner 2/3 of the mobile lids and up into the crease line leaving a slight sliver of the cut crease untouched and I then used the ColourPop Super Shock Duo Kit ($12 for two 0.074 oz / 2.1 g pots… currently on sale for $8.40) in the color story Wave Breaker and the shade Coconut (bright satin teal) I patted that over the outer 1/3 and feathered it into the middle 1/3 leaving the same slight sliver of the cut crease untouched to marry all 3 of the 1/3 of the mobile lid together. I then took the ColourPop Super Shock Shadow ($7 for 0.074 oz / 2.1 g of product on their website) in the shade A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes (icy silver blue) and buffed that into the sliver of the cut crease that I left untouched. For the lower lash lines I started by creating a slight drop shadow with more of the shade Masshole (bright true blue – matte). I then buffed the lash lines with more of the shade Rhody (bright light blue – matte). I tight lined both the upper and lower lash lines using the NYX Slide On Eye Pencil Waterproof Eyeliner ($8 for 0.04 oz / 1.13 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Sunrise Blue (bright true blue) and then I highlighted the inner corners of the eyes using the shade Saltwater (silvery blue with w opal duo-chrome – shimmer).
Complexion:

I primed my face using Wet n Wild Photo Focus Dewy Face Primer ($5.99 for 0.84 fl oz / 25 mL of product at Ulta) and then contoured my nose, sides of the forehead, chin, cheek bones and lips using NYX Wonder Stick ($12 for 0.28 oz / 7.94 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Medium. For foundation today I used BECCA Cosmetics Ultimate Coverage 24 Hour Foundation ($44 for 1.01 fl oz / 30 mL of product at Sephora) in the shade Cashmere. I bronzed my cheek bones, chin and forehead using bareMinerals Bare Pro Glow ($29 for 0.47 fl oz / 14 mL of product on their website) in the shade Warmth and with was left on the brush I dusted the bronzer over my nose. I concealed the sides of my nose to clean up my contour using the BECCA Cosmetics Ultimate Coverage Longwear Concealer (No Longer Available – has 0.21 oz/ 6 g of product) in the shade Linen. and then patted what ever was left on my sponge under my eyes to conceal them.
Cheeks, Lips, Lashes and Touch Ups:

As my cream blush I used Wet n Wild MegaGlo Makeup Stick Blush ($4.49 for 0.21 oz / 5.95 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Peach Bums (coral). I set my under eyes using E.L.F. HD Under Eye Setting Powder (no longer available) and the rest of my face using Too Faced Born This Way Ethereal Setting Powder ($34 for 0.253 oz / 7.17 g of product on their website) in the shade Translucent. I touched up my blush, bronzer and highlighter using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Face Palette ($58 for 0.28 oz / 8 g for the bronzer, 0.17 oz / 4.8 g for the highlighter and 0.17 oz / 4.8 g for the blush at Ulta) : Bronzer in the shade Pompia (light golden honey), Highlighter in the shade Sardania (light pale gold) and Blush in the shade Camellia (soft coral with gold pearl). I lined my lips using the ColourPop Lippie Pencil ($6 on their website) in the shade I Heart This (red fuchsia) and topped the lips off with Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Stunna Lip Paint Longwear Fluid Lip Color ($25 for 0.13 fl oz / 4 mL of product at Sephora and the Fenty website) in the shade Unlocked (vivid pink) and then I tapped the slightest amount of Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer ($19 for 0.3 fl oz / 9 mL of product at Sephora and on the Fenty website) in the shade Sweetmouth (shimmering soft pink). I coated my lashes in 1 coat of Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Lashes Mascara ($29 for 0.27 oz / 7.65 g of product at Sephora) and popped on a pair of KoKo Lashes ($7.99 on the Lady Moss website) in the style Queen B. I then feathered hair strokes through my brows using Juvia’s Place i Sculpt, I Shade Brow Pen ($14 for 0.017 fl oz / 0.5 mL of product at Ulta and the Juvia’s Place website) in the shade Ebony (the deepest shade). I set my face using Beauty Bakerie Spray Your Grace Setting Spray ($18 for 3.4 fl oz / 100 mL of product at Ulta) and for touch ups I am using Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder ($3.17 for 0.49 oz / 13.89 g of product at Walmart) in the shade Creamy Natural.
Final Thoughts:

This look was so much fun to create… though, I did have to redo the eye look 3 times… practice makes perfect. I love how the blue brings out the red undertones in my eyes. I decided today that I would incorporate pictorials into my blog posts to show the progression of the makeup… I thought this might help those who are just starting out with makeup understand how I did the look better.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Face Palette ($58 for 0.28 oz / 8 g for the bronzer, 0.17 oz / 4.8 g for the highlighter and 0.17 oz / 4.8 g for the blush at Ulta) it comes in 3 color ways… I was gifted the Italian Summer color story and it is billed as a 3-well palette featuring bronzer, highlight, and blush that delivers a lightweight, buttery feel and seamless blend, illuminating skin for a long-lasting, natural radiance. The shades from left to right are: Bronzer in the shade Pompia (light golden honey), Highlighter in the shade Sardania (light pale gold) and Blush in the shade Camellia (soft coral with gold pearl).
I give this face palette a solid O+++ I truly love this palette, I just wish the blush was just a bit deeper in shade. I didn’t give it the top grading because the highlighter is truly subtle and I have to apply several layers to get maximum payoff.

ColourPop Super Shock Duo Kit ($12 for two 0.074 oz / 2.1 g pots… currently on sale for $8.40) in the color story Wave Breaker the oceanic duo that features the revolutionary long-wearing crème powder formula famous for its silky, bouncy-like texture. Delivers one swipe intensity for the boldest colour without creasing, fading or fallout. Shimmering sea-breezy shades in our famous crème powder formula! The shade Coconut (bright satin teal).
I give this super shock shadow a solid A+++!!! The shade is stunning but I couldn’t in good faith give this shade a higher grading… even though I wanted so badly to because of the shade. This one was crumbly and I applied this shade 3 times total today, I had to redo my eyes 3 times, and with just 3 uses I already hit pan.

ColourPop Super Shock Shadow (each is $7 for 0.074 oz / 2.1 g of product on their website) in the shades A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes (icy silver blue) this shade represents Cinderella and Arabian Nights (icy turquois with silver pin points) this shade represents Jasmine and is billed as the revolutionary crème-powder eyeshadow, famous for its unique bouncy texture, delivers bold colour & fine glitter in one swipe without creasing, fading or fallout.
I give these super shock shadows a solid O+++!!! The 2 shades I used, Arabian Nights and A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes, but I have been loving the whole collection. The shades went on perfectly with a brush and to amp up the pigmentation I only needed to tap my finger over the already applied shadow.

Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Stunna Lip Paint Longwear Fluid Lip Color ($25, on sale right now for $18.75 for 0.13 fl oz / 4 mL of product on their website) in the shades: Unbutton (peachy nude), Unattached (bright coral), Unlocked (vivid pink) and Uncensored (perfect universal red) are billed as one stroke intensity with a long wear matte finish and an unrivaled precision wand.
I give these liquid lipsticks a solid O+++!!! and a standing ovation! I’ve only tested out the first 3 shades but they are perfect in every possible way! They go on feeling like a lip oil. The bulbous doe foot applicator makes it super easy to get a clean precision application. There is no weird flay trap sticky feeling as the lipstick dries down. It doesn’t take a long time for the lipstick to dry down. It didn’t emphasize the fine lines of my lips. Once dried down the lipstick did not feel tight or drying. There was no pilling as the day wore on and this lipstick wore down evenly to an almost lip stain effect. This lipstick does not travel outside the lip line and did not bleed or feather into the fine lines of my lips. It was perfect.

Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer ($19, on sale right now for $14.25 for 0.3 fl / 9 ml of product on their website) in the shades: Fussy (shimmering dusty pink), Sweet Mouth (shimmering soft pink) and Cheeky (shimmering bright red orange) are billed as the ultimate gotta-have-it lip gloss with explosive shine that feels as good as it looks—Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb is the essential finishing touch to your Fenty Face.
I give this lip gloss a solid O+++!!! I only used Sweet Mouth, but I have another gloss bomb that I’ve been using for ages… this formula is amazing, smells like cherry candy and elevates any lip look. This is not a sticky lip gloss. It did not travel outside the lip line or feather and lasted a super long time.
Today’s walkthrough is all done…
I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night 🌞🌜and that you are in great spirits and health😄🩺.
👄Remember, Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.👄
