Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I’m still in pain from my fall but I was able to play with my makeup, even though I truly hated the look I came up with.
I popped into Ulta to buy a few little odds and ends… and I received the blush I ordered from Sephora so I figured I’d haul them.
Let’s take a look…
1. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Collection ($40 for 0.15 oz / 4.2g of product at Sephora) in the shade At Night (brick red combined with radiant light) is billed as a groundbreaking hybrid that combines the customized lighting effects of Ambient Lighting Powder or Strobe Powder with a spectrum of breathtakingly modern hues. This blush comes in 10 shades.
First Impression: This shade is super cute, it’s just red enough to give that coming out from the cold rosiness. I love these blushes they have the perfect pigment for a natural flush of color.
2. Tarte Shape Tape Glow Wand ($27 for 0.2 fl oz / 6 mL of product at Ulta) in the shade A Light (opal glow) is billed as an award winner a candle-lit glow. A sheer liquid brightener that delivers natural a lit form within youthful glow. This highlighter comes in 8 shades.
First Impressions: I have been using a mini size that I got as a free gift with purchase and I am in love with this. It gives a super natural glint to the skin that shows through even after powdering the face.
3. NYX Powder Puff Lippie ($5.80 for0.40 oz / 12 mL of product at Ulta) in the shade Senior Class (vibrant true purple) is billed as a matte cream lipstick with a unique cushion applicator that sets to a powdery soft finish. This lipstick comes in 16 shades.
First Impressions: This lippie is amazing! I wore it today. It’s a cream yet it’s matte it’s the weirdest thing. It’s comfortable, long lasting and as it wears down there is the tint to the lips that lasts all day.
4. Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss ($16 for 0.16 oz / 4.5 g of product at Ulta) in the shade St. Tropez (iridescent rose gold) is billed as a full-pigment, weightless lip color formula that delivers the intensity of a lip stain and the shine of a lip gloss. Available in a wide shade range and 3 finishes this vanilla-scented lip gloss offers comfortable wearability with a mirror-like glossy finish. This lip gloss comes in 15 shades.
First Impressions: I don’t really have a first impression, I purchased this shade because I had been using a mini that I got for my birthday and fell in love with the shade.
It’s was a little haul, but I love each item.
