Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I am feeling well, but I have this weird pain in my muscles… it’s like a sunburn that has a bruise. It’s difficult to sit up and walk but I am playing through the pain.
October is the month where I stock up on my skin care items and today I received 2 of the orders I placed for skin care and I thought I’d share them with you… The orders I received are from Beautylish and Facetory .

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush ($40 for 0.15 oz / 4.2 g of product at Sephora and also Beautylish) in the shade Diffused Heat (vibrant poppy with a radiant finish) is billed as a groundbreaking hybrid blush combines the customized lighting effects of Ambient Lighting Powder with breathtaking cheek color. The result: lightweight, multidimensional color with a seamless, soft-focus focus.
I had the mini of this blush and I dropped it and it broke. So I purchased the full size.
Duo Brush on Adhesive – Clear ($5.10 for 0.18 oz / 5 g of product on Beautylish, also sold at Ulta and most drugstores and Walmart) is billed as adhesive comes with an ultra-thin brush for precise, quick application of both strip and individual lashes for all-day wear. This latex-free formula is safe for contact lens wearers and sensitive eyes.
This is the only lash glue I’ll ever use, I’ve been using this glue for at least 11 years now. It’s never failed me. So it was time to stock up because I only have 1 back up left.
Good Molecules Silicone -Free Priming Moisturizer ($12 for 1.7 fl oz / 50 mL of product on Beautylish, also at Ulta and the Good Molecules website) is billed as smooth, hydrate, and prep your skin for makeup with this lightweight daily moisturizer formulated with a natural silicone alternative.
Good Molecules Daily Brightening Serum ($8 for 1 fl oz / 30 mL of product on Beautylish, at Ulta and on the Good Molecules website) is billed as promotes a bright, even skin tone with this gentle brightening serum that’s perfect for everyday use.
The active ingredients are Beta arbutin (a skin lightening agent for treating hyperpigmentation) and hyaluronic acid (can bind up to 1000 times its weight in water making it the perfect hydrating serum).
This is a new item I’m adding to my skin care regimen and it typically takes Beta arbutin 30 to 60 days to start to show results so I’ll update you on this one around January 12, 2022
Good Molecules Overnight Exfoliating Treatment ($6 for 1 fl oz / 30 mL of product on Beautylish, at Ulta and the Good Molecules website) is billed as resurface and renew skin overnight with this AHA and BHA exfoliating treatment.
AHAs are water-soluble acids made from sugary fruits, BHAs can get deeper into the pores to remove dead skin cells and excess sebum.
Good Molecules Niacinamide Brightening Toner ($14 for 4 fl oz / 120 mL of product on Beautylish and at Ulta and the Good Molecules website) is billed as promotes bright, even skin and less visible pores with this brightening toner that’s gentle enough for daily use.
Niacinamide is a form of vitamin B-3. It can help manage wrinkles, acne, rosacea, and pigmentation.
Good Molecules Super Peptide Serum ($12 for 1 fl oz / 30 mL of product on Beautylish, at Ulta and the Good Molecules website) is billed as targets fine lines, wrinkles, and dullness with this peptide-powered serum.
Peptides are cell signaling substances that are rich in amino acids and are short chains of amino acids that act as building blocks of proteins such as collagen, elastin and keratin which are responsible for its texture, strength and resilience in the skin.
Good Molecules Niacinamide Serum ($6 for 1 fl oz / 30 mL of product on Beautylish, at Ulta and on the Good Molecules website) is billed as minimizes the appearance of pores and uneven tone and texture with this 10% niacinamide serum.
I have been researching ceramide serums because combining Niacinamide with Ceramides is a powerhouse combo since Niacinamides restructure the skins texture and Ceramides create a barrier to help lock in the skins moisture.
Good Molecules Hyaluronic Acid Serum ($6 for 1 fl oz / 30 mL of product on Beautylish and at Ulta and on the Good Molecules website) is billed as a lightweight hyaluronic acid serum that draws moisture into the skin for deep hydration.
Where Ceramides create a barrier to help keep moisture in, Hyaluronic Acid is like a magnet that attacks moisture… moisture from the air, the skin care items you use and from the water you wash your face with…. This is my favorite of all the serums I use because my skin never feels tight or dry ever since I started incorporating it… and I use an AHA/BHA every other day and still don’t have dry skin.
Up next are the items I purchased from Facetory:
FaceTory Skin Care Fridge ($99 for a 24.5x29x34cm 10L capacity unit on their website).
I keep my all of my skin care in a beauty fridge because I enjoy the crispness of the products just out of the fridge, it also keeps all my skincare tidy and out of the way. I have the small one I hauled sometime ago but it never held both my daytime and my nighttime skincare and I keep my daytime skincare in my makeup room where I can plop on all of the products and get right to work on my newest face of the day…. I keep all of my nighttime items on my water vanity (that’s what I call the skin and counter that I have in my bedroom just outside the master bath) so I figured I would get a beauty fridge for the water vanity. This one holds everything perfectly… and even has a space large enough to hold 5 face masks… making it easier to do a mask first thing after I wash my face in the AM….
I also purchased a 5 pack of 5 different face masks:
Dream Garden Lotus Biocellulose Mask- Balancing & Firming ($12.50 for 5 masks) is billed as a rejuvenating mask infused with 40% Lotus Flower Water to balances the skin’s water to oil content and improves skin elasticity and features a Bio-cellulose gel mask material made from soothing Coconut to help the essence sink into the skin better.
Lotus Flower is known to be a natural moisturizer to help improve the look and feel of dry, rough or flaky skin.
Dream Garden Elderflower Sheet Mask- Rejuvenating & Illuminating ($12.50 for 5 masks) is billed as a comforting sheet mask that provides skin with extra hydration while it brightens and calms.
Elderflower contain antioxidants that protect against sun and other free-radical damage and promotes blood circulation and is packed with vitamins A, B, C, and E to help firm the skin.
Oh My Goodness Rejuvenating Snail Mask ($9.95 for 5 masks) is billed as a rayon sheet material mask that contains amazing, beneficial ingredients to hydrate and soothe so your skin feels rejuvenated.
Snail Mucin moisturizes skin, promotes collagen production, and aids in skin healing and regeneration.
SOS Royal Jelly Sheet Mask- Restoring ($9.95 for 5 masks) is billed as leaves your skin feeling smooth, clear, and dewy!
Royal Jelly (a gelatinous substance produced by honey bees to feed the queen bees and their young) is an organic collagen enhancer and a natural defense from ultraviolet radiation.
Woah That H2O 2-Step Sheet Mask- Hydrating ($9.95 for 5 masks) is billed as a 2 step hydrating mask. A cupra (short fibers that are left behind after processing raw cotton) sheet mask containing an ampoule and sheet mask, is packed with ingredients to keep your skin smooth and hydrated.
This mask’s key ingredients are: Jasmine Flower Extract – Contains moisturizing properties while also protecting the skin with its antibacterial properties, Ceramide – Hydrating agent that helps retain the skin’s moisture levels by strengthening the skin’s moisture barrier and Sodium Hyaluronate – Great water-binding ingredient that provides moisture to dry skin.
Well… that’s everything in this skin care haul…..
I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night 🌞🌜and that you are in great spirits and health 😄🩺.
👄Remember, Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick 👄.
