Eyes and Brows:

I brushed a tinny bit of brow gel through my brows and then filled in my brows with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade ($21 for 0.14 oz / 3.97 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Ebony (black hair/warm under tones). I carved out my brows and primed my lids using the P. Louise Primer & Base ($14 for 0.507 fl oz / 15 mL of product on their website) in the shade Rumour 0.5 (pale nude). I applied a piece of tape to the outer edges of my eyes as a guide and for today’s eye look I used For today’s look I used 4 shades from the Jacy Cosmetics Vintage Rose 30 Pan Palette ($39.99 for 0.21 oz / 66 g of total product on their website making it 0.007 oz / 2.2 g and $1.33 per shade) and 1 shade from the Natasha Denona Mini Star Eyeshadow Palette ($25 for 0.14 oz / 4 g of total product at Sephora making it 0.028 oz / 0.8 g and $5 per shade). I started with the Jacy palette. On a fluffy crease brush and using the shade Elegance (pale peach based tan – matte) I buffed this shade from low crease to almost the full brow line… leaving just a hint of the brow line untouched to help highlight the brows

On a medium sized tapered crease brush and the shade Old Brown (dusty deep orange – matte) I buffed it into my crease, starting low in the crease and buffing it up 1/2 up the transition shade

I then returned to the first brush and just a touch of the first shadow (the fluffy crease brush and the shade Elegance : pale peach based tan – matte) I buffed the outer edges of the crease to get a softer blend.

I then jumped into the Natasha Denona palette and using a stout fluffy crease brush with the shade Earth (dark chocolate brown – matte) I deepened the outer v of the crease, blowing it up and toward the tails of my brows

Then taking my finger and the shade Pansy (copper- metallic) from the Jacy palette I applied this shade to the inside 1/3 of the mobile lids

I removed the tape and cleaned up the fall out on my under eyes

I then applied fresh tape to the outside edges of my eyes as a guide line for my winged liner, I then created long wing liner using the Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Flyliner Longwear Liquid Eyeliner ($22 for 0.019 oz/ 0.55 mL of product at Sephora) in the shade In Big Truffle (chocolate brown – satin)

I then removed the tape and cleaned up the wing lines

For the lower lash lines I used a pencil brush and more of the shade Old Brown (dusty deep orange – matte) from the Jacy palette to create a deep drop shadow

Using a short shadder brush and more of the shade Earth (dark chocolate brown – matte) from the Natasha Denona and deepened the lower lash lines

With a small concealer brush and the shade Velvet (icy white and pale teal duo chrome) from the Jacy palette to highlight the inner corners of my eyes

I lined my lower water lines using the NYX Epic Wear Liner Stick Long Lasting Eyeliner Pencil ($8 for 0.043 oz / 1.22 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Orange Zest (orange – metallic)

I used the Milani Weekend Brow Pen ($8.99 for 0.03 fl oz / 0.89 mL of product at Ulta) in the shade Espresso (the deepest shade) to create hair like strokes at the front of my brows…. I’m still practicing it… eventually I’ll get it down pat….

Complexion:

I primed my face using the Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Illuminating Primer ($26 for 0.94 fl oz / 28 mL and $14 for 0.5 fl oz / 15 mL of product at Sephora) and then contoured my jaw line, cheek bones, bridge of the nose and sides of the forehead using the Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Bronzer ($32 for 0.22 oz / 6.23 g of product at Sephora) in the shade Amber (cool contour for fair skin). For foundation today I used the Uoma Beauty Say What?! Foundation ($39 for 1 fl oz / 30 mL of product at Ulta) in the shade Fair Lady T2C (fair skin with cool undertones). I highlighted the high points of the face using the bareMinerals Bare Pro Glow Liquid Highlighter ($29 for 0.47 fl oz / 14 mL of product on their website) in the shade Free (champagne). I color corrected my under eyes using the Tarte Colored Clay CC Undereye Corrector ($25 for 0.08 oz / 2.26 g of product at Sephora) in the shade Light Medium and then I cleaned up my nose contour by applying the Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Longwear Liquid Concealer ($26 for 0.27 fl oz / 8 mL of product at Sephora) in the shade #110 (cool pink undertones for fair skin) to the sides and bridge of the nose and blending it out, pushing whatever is left on my beauty sponge onto my under eyes to conceal that area too. I bronzed the perimeter of my face using the Makeup Revolution Fast Base Stick Foundation ($9 for 0.21 oz / 5.95 g of product at Ulta) in the shade F13 (dark skin warm undertones).

Cheeks, Lips, Lashes and Touch Ups:

For cream blush today I used the NARS Liquid Blush ($30 for 0.5 fl oz / 15 mL of product at Sephora) in the shade Torrid (warm coral with golden shimmer). I set my under eyes using the BECCA Under Eye Brightening Setting Powder (no longer available 0.09 oz / 2.55 g of product) and the rest of my face using the Huda Beauty Easy Bake Loose Baking & Setting Powder ($34 for 0.71 oz / 20 g of product at Sephora) in the shade Cupcake (fair to light skin tones. pink undertones brighten and disguise under-eye darkness). I touched up the blush using the ColourPop x Mulan Pressed Blush (was limited edition) in the shade Good Luck Charm Blush (deep terracotta), the bronzer using the Beauty Bakerie Neapolitan Bar ($18 for 0.39 oz / 11.07 g of total product at Ulta making it $6 and 0.13 oz / 3.69 per shade) and the highlighter using the I Heart Revolution x Disney Story Book Highlighter ($10 for 5.8g / 0.2 oz on their website)in the shade Belle (champagne gold ). I lined my lips using the ColourPop Lippie Pencil ($6 for 0.035 oz / 1.0g of product on their website) in the shade Another Round (rosy nude) and topped off the lips using the ColourPop Lux Velvet Liquid Lip ($8 for 0.17 oz / 4.75 g of product on their website) in the shade Puddin’ (burnt orange red). I then topped the lips off with a light layer of Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer ($19 for 0.30 oz/ 9 mL of product at Sephora) in the shade Fenty Glow (shimmering rose nude). I gave my lashes 1 coat of the ColourPop BFF Mascara ($9 for 0.24 oz / 7 g of product on their website) in the shade Black on Black and popped on a pair of the Mikayla x Glamlite 3D Faux Lashes ($12 per pair on their website) in the style Brand New. I set my face using the I set my face using the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Setting Spray ($5.99 for 1.52 fl oz / 45 mL of product at Ulta).

Final Thoughts:

The eye look is stunningly simple and paired well with the blush, however, I should have gone with a terracotta lippie or even a brown lippie… I feel as if this lippie was a bit too peachy coral for this look. I like the brow on the right side of the face but the one on the left side (the side with my nose ring) just looks too blocky and I didn’t feather the brows in the front as wide spaced as I did with the right brow so it came out looking like a semicolon… but practice makes perfect and one day I will slay these brows.

And with that today’s walkthrough and pictorial is over….

I hope you have a great rest of your day/night 🌞🌜 and that you’re in great spirits and health 😄🩺.

👄Remember, Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.👄
