Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. Today I am feeling so much better.

For today’s look I used 1 shade from the Natasha Denona Mini Star Eyeshadow Palette ($25 for 0.14 oz / 4 g of total product at Sephora making it 0.028 oz / 0.8 g and $5 per shade), 1 shade from the Jacy Cosmetics Vintage Rose 30 Pan Palette ($39.99 for 0.21 oz / 66 g of total product on their website making it 0.007 oz / 2.2 g and $1.33 per shade) and 2 shades from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Jackie Aina Palette ($45, on sale for $31.50 for 0.28 oz / 9.8 g of total product making it 0.02 oz / 0.7 g of product and $3.21 at retail price / $2.25 at sale price per shade on their website).

Today’s scent is…

Eyes and Brows:

I lightly set my brows with a tiny amount of Got 2B Glued Spiking Glue ($6.49 for 6 oz / 170 g of product at Ulta) on a disposable spoolie and then I used the Milani Weekend Brow Pen ($8.99 for 0.03 fl oz / 0.89 mL of product at Ulta) in the shade Espresso (the deepest shade) to feather through my brows creating hair like strokes all through the brows, from front to tail just filling in all the bald spots with hair like strokes and then I filled in my brows using the E.L.F. Cosmetics Ultra Precise Brow Pencil ($5 for 0.002 oz / 0.057 g of product at Ulta) in the shade dark brown. (most of the front of my brows is fake – it’s the brow pen in action!

I carved out my brows and primed my lids using the P. Louise Primer & Base ($14 for 0.507 fl oz / 15 mL of product on their website) in the shade Rumour 0.5 (pale nude). For the transition I used a small fluffy crease brush and the shade Atik (sandy beige – matte) from the Natasha Denona Mini Star Eyeshadow Palette ($25 for 0.14 oz / 4 g of total product at Sephora making it 0.028 oz / 0.8 g and $5 per shade) taking it up to the middle of the brow line.

I jumped into the Anastasia Beverly Hills Jackie Aina Palette ($45, on sale for $31.50 for 0.28 oz / 9.8 g of total product making it 0.02 oz / 0.7 g of product and $3.21 at retail price / $2.25 at sale price per shade on their website) using a stout crease brush and the shade Ginger (Matte caramel brown) I buffed that through the crease and the outer 1/3 of the mobile lids (keeping it low in the crease at the bottom and barely touching the transition shade from the top) and then into the the Jacy Cosmetics Vintage Rose 30 Pan Palette ($39.99 for 0.21 oz / 66 g of total product on their website making it 0.007 oz / 2.2 g and $1.33 per shade) on a short shadder brush using the shade Porcelain (dusty white – matte) I patted that over the inner 2/3 of the mobile lids.

With my finger I use the ColourPop Super Shock Shadow ($7 for 0.074oz / 2.1 g of product on their website) in the shade I’m Wishing (icy white with pink pin points) and tapped it over the inner 1/3 of the mobile lids

Then using my finger and the ColourPop Super Shock Shadow (Part of the Pier Pressure Duo for $12) in the shade In Axis (bright copper with pink and gold glitter) I tapped it over the ball of the eye (the middle 1/3 of the mobile lids).

Using a fluffy pencil brush and the shade Credit (Deep matte plum brown) from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Jackie Aina Palette ($45, on sale for $31.50 for 0.28 oz / 9.8 g of total product making it 0.02 oz / 0.7 g of product and $3.21 at retail price / $2.25 at sale price per shade on their website) I deepened the outer v of the crease making sure to keep the shadow tight to the v and not blowing it out or buffing it higher than the crease.

Then taking a fluffy crease brush and the shade Atik (sandy beige – matte) from the Natasha Denona Mini Star Eyeshadow Palette ($25 for 0.14 oz / 4 g of total product at Sephora making it 0.028 oz / 0.8 g and $5 per shade) I buffed the deepened outer v of the crease to soften the edges of the deeper shade. I took a cotton bud in some of the Good Molecules Silicone-Free Priming Moisturizer ($12 for 1.7 fl oz / 50 mL of product at Ulta) (the last step of my skin care routine, it’s a trick I learned from Robert Welsh, explanation to come in final thoughts) to clean up the fall out on my under eyes and to sharpen the outer edge of the eyes.

For the lower lash lines I used a tapered crease brush and more of the shade Ginger (Matte caramel brown) from the ABH palette and created a deep drop shadow and then more of the shade Credit (Deep matte plum brown) from the same palette on a medium shadder brush to deepen the outer 2/3 of the lash lines connecting it to the outer v of the crease.

Using my finger I applied the highlighter from the Beauty Bakerie Neapolitan Bar ($18 for 0.39 oz / 11.07 g of total product at Ulta making it $6 and 0.13 oz / 3.69 per shade) to the inner corners of my eyes.

I then free handed a thin long winged liner using the ColourPop BFF Liquid Liner ($8 for 0.019 fl oz / 0.56 mL of product at Ulta) in the shade Grande (brown).

Lastly I liner my lower water lines using Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Eye Crayon (discontinued) in the copper shade.

Complexion:

I primed my face using the Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Illuminating Primer ($26 for 0.94 fl oz / 28 mL and $14 for 0.5 fl oz / 15 mL of product at Sephora). I contoured the sides of my forehead, jawline, bridge of the nose and cheek bones using the NYX Wonder Stick ($12 for 0.28 oz / 7.94 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Deep. I highlighted the high points of my face using the bareMinerals Bare Pro Glow Liquid Highlighter ($29 for 0.47 fl oz / 14 mL of product on their website) in the shade Free (champagne). For foundation I used the Uoma Beauty Say What?! Foundation ($39 for 1 fl oz / 30 mL of product at Ulta) in the shade Fair Lady T2C (fair skin with cool undertones) taking the lightest amount up under my eyes. I bronzed the perimeter of my face using the Makeup Revolution Fast Base Stick Foundation ($9 for 0.21 oz / 5.95 g of product at Ulta) in the shade F13 (dark skin warm undertones). I cleaned up my nose contour using the Wet n Wild MegaLast Incognito All-Day Full Coverage Concealer ($4.99 for 0.18 fl oz / 5.32 mL of product at Ulta) in the shade Fair Beige (the lightest shade) and taken whatever was still on my beauty sponge to conceal the under eye area.

Cheeks, Lips, Lashes and Touch Ups:

For cream blush I used the ColourPop Cheek Dew Serum Blush ($7 for 0.48 fl oz / 14.20 mL of product on their website) in the shade Hibiscus (bright warm coral). I set my under eyes using the BECCA Under Eye Brightening Setting Powder (no longer available 0.09 oz / 2.55 g of product) and the rest of my face using the L’Oréal Infallible Tinted Loose Setting Powder ($6.49 for 0.28 oz / 7.94 g of product at Sephora) in the shade Translucent Light. I used the Beauty Bakerie Neapolitan Bar ($18 for 0.39 oz / 11.07 g of total product at Ulta making it $6 and 0.13 oz / 3.69 per shade) to touch up my blush, bronzer and highlighter today. I lined my lips using the ColourPop Lippie Pencil (discontinued) in the shade Hoopty (deep burgundy) and also filling in the sides of the lips then I topped it with the Huda Beauty Power Bullet Matte Lipstick ($25 for 0.10 oz / 3 g of product at Sephora) in the shade First Date (warm toned pinky brick). I used 1 coat of ColourPop Act Natural Mascara ($9 for 0.30 oz / 8.4 g of product on their website) in the shade Brown and popped on a pair of the Vintage Vanity Cosmetics Lashes ($9 per pair on their website) in the style Diahann. I set my face using the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Setting Spray ($5.99 for 152 fl oz / 45 mL of product at Ulta). I touched up the t zone only 1 time today and I used the MAC Pressed Blotting Powder ($30 for 0.423 oz / 12 g of product on their website) in the shade Medium to do that.

Final Thoughts:

I really love the way my brows turned out today!!! I FINALLY mastered the art that is feathering hair like strokes!

The trick that Robert Welsh taught me is that whatever the last item you use on your under eyes in your skin care prep before makeup should be used to clean up and fall out… the reason for this is that if you go in and clean up the under eyes with makeup remover or a cotton pad and water or whatever you normally use then you are also taking off all that skin prep and leaving the skin bare… so using the last thing that touched your under eyes in your skin care always you to clean up but also adds a bit more conditioning to that area.

I use the Good Molecules Silicone-Free Priming Moisturizer ($12 for 1.7 fl oz / 50 mL of product at Ulta) as the last step in my skin prep as a 2 fold… 1 as a second moisturizer and 2 as a first primer… ever since I started using this priming moisturizer my makeup has gone on flawlessly.

And with that today’s walkthrough and pictorial is over….

I hope you have a great rest of your day/night 🌞🌜and that you’re in great spirits and health 😄🩺.

👄Remember, Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.👄
