Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I have a low pain/low energy day… and I’m having problems forming words today. But I was able to get some makeup play in.

I have come to the realization that 30 straight days of makeup may not be reasonable for me…. I have had a few days of not enough energy and too much pain to sit and do a look… so from here on out I will do a 30 pan palette per month with no designated amount of days in a row I have to use it. This helps me not feel stressed because I’m missing day and also always me to still be able to test out some of the new palettes I recently purchased.
I did use several new items to test them out today so I will give my review of those products in Final Thoughts. So… let’s get into today’s walk through for look#2

Eyes and Brows:

I set my brows using Got 2 B Glued Spiking Gel ($7.15 for 6 oz, 170.1 g of product at Ulta) and then filled them in using Maybelline Tattoo Studio Brow Pomade ($12.99 for 0.16 oz / 3 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Deep Brow. I carved out my brows and primed my lids using P.Louise Rumour Eye Base ($14 for 1 fl oz / 30 ml of product on their website) In the shade Rumour 2.

Using a Bdelium Green Bambu #778 Large Shadow Brush and the shade Shredded (creamy vanilla – sequin matte) from the ColourPop 9 Pan Palette Going Coconuts ($14 for 0.27 oz 8.1 g / 0.03 oz, 0.90 g and $1.56 per shade) and I set my brow line. I then took a Bdelium Golden Triangle #785 Tapered Blending Brush and the shade Lovely Bunch (mid tone yellow brown – matte) from the same palette for the transition (from crease to 1/2 up the brow line) making sure to blow the shade out at the brow line…

I then switched to the ColourPop It’s a Mood 30 Pan Palette ($34 for 1.16 oz / 33 g of total product making it 0.039 oz, 1.1 g and $1.13 per shade) and on a Bdelium Green Bambu #767 Round Dome Brush and I buffed the shade midnight run (warm brown – matte) into the crease and over the mobile lid….

I took a Bdelium Green Bambu #781 Crease Brush and the shade our deal (rich chocolate – matte) and tapped it over the outer v of the crease all the way to the tales of my brows…

Then taking a Bdelium Studio 785 Tapped Blending Brush with nothing on it I buffed the outer v of the crease out to give just a shadow of the color to elongate the eye…

Using a Bdelium Green Bambu # 776 Blending Brush and the shade love song (pale gold – metallic) I dusted it over the inner 2/3 of the mobile lids….

Using the same brush I went back into the shade midnight run (warm brown – matte) and buffed that over the ball of the mobile lid (the middle 1/3) and then I dipped my finger into the Maybelline Color Tattoo Cream Eyeshadow Pot ($7.99 for 0.14 oz / 4 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Front Runner (champagne) and patted over the inner 1/3 of the mobile lid lightly so that I got some extra shimmer to add dimension to the shade underneath…

On a Bdelium Golden Triangle #781 Crease Brush I first used more of the shade midnight run (warm brown – matte) to create a deep drop shadow on the lower lashline. Using the same brush and more of the shade our deal (rich chocolate – matte) to deepen the outer 2/3 of the lower lashline. I then used the same brush and more of the shade Lovely Bunch (mid tone yellow brown – matte) to buff out the undereye shadow and then using the same brush I added a hint of the shade palm reader (white with gold flip – metallic) from the Coconuts palette to highlight the upper part of my inner tear ducts. I lined my lower water line using ColourPop BFF Crème Gel Liner (this shade no longer available) in the shade Show Me (true copper – metallic). I then created a mid sized wing liner on the up lash line using the Uoma Beauty Afro.Dis.Iac Liquid Eyeliner ($18 for 0.01 fl oz / 0.30 ml of product on their website) in the shade Cleopatra Ink (black).
Complexion:

I primed my skin using Cover FX Dewy Skin Primer + Hydrating ($38 for 1 fl oz / 30 ml of product at Ulta, I purchased it on sale for $19). For cream contour I started out using the Milani Supercharged Lip & Cheek Multistick ($8.99 for 0.18 oz / 5.1 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Dynamic Bronze (deep bronze) but it just isn’t working out for me.. I have decluttered it… in place of that contour I used the NYX Wonder Stick ($12 on the NYX website) in the shade Deep Dark. For foundation today I used Cover FX Power Play Foundation ($44 for 1.18 fl oz / 35 ml of product at Ulta, I purchased it on sale for $22, this shade is no longer available… can find on the Cover FX website) in the shade N20 fair light neutral. For cream bronze I used bareMinerals Bare Pro Glow Bronzer ($29 but on sale for $23 for 0.47 fl oz / 14 ml of product on their website) in the shade Warmth. I used the Maybelline Cheek Heat Gel-Cream Blush ($7.99 for 0.27 fl oz / 8 ml of product at Ulta, I purchased it on sale for $6.79) in the shade #20 Rose Flush (a warm rose pink). For cream highlighter I used the Benefit Cosmetics Eye Beam Gel Highlighter For Eyes & Face ($24 for 0.34 fl oz / 10 ml of product). I color corrected my under eyes using the L.A. Girl HD Pro Corrector Concealer ($4.99 for 0.28 fl oz / 8.28 ml of product at Ulta) in the shade cool pink (neutralizes dark spots for fair to light skin tones). I then concealed the sides of my nose and under eyes using the NYX Bare With Me Hydrating Face and Body Concealer Serum ($11 for 0.32 fl oz / 9.6 ml of product at Ulta) in the shade fair.
Setting, Touch Ups, Lips and Lashes:

I set the under eyes using the Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder ($30 for 0.14 oz / 3.97 g of product at Ulta) in shade #1 (fair to medium tones) and the rest of my face using the Maybelline Fit Me Loose Finishing Powder ($8.49 for 0.7 oz /20 g of product at Ulta, I got it on sale for $7.22) in the shade #10 Fair Light. I touched up my bronzer using the Cover FX Monochromatic Bronzer Duo ($38 but currently on sale for $19 for 0.51 oz / 14.46 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Suntan Bronze (rich bronze) and my blush using the Cover FX Monochromatic Blush Duo ($38 but currently on sale for $19 for 0.51 oz / 14.46 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Pink Dahlia (soft pink). I then added powder highlighter to the highest points of the face using the Maybelline Master Chrome by FaceStudio Metallic Highlighter ($10.99 for 0.24 oz / 6.80 g of product at Ulta, I purchased it on sale for $8.49) in the shade Molten Pearl (pale champagne). I set my face using the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Setting Spray ($6.49 for 1.52 fl oz / 45 ml of product at Ulta). I used the Milani Weekend Brow ($8.9 for 0.03 fl oz / 0.89 ml of product at Ulta) in the shade Espresso to create a few hair strokes in the front of the brows. I curled my lashes and applied 1 coat of the Flower Beauty Lash Warrior Mascara ($10.49 for 0.35 fl oz / 10.35 ml of product at Ulta) and then popped on a pair of the ColourPop Faux Mink False Lashes ($8 a pair on their website) in the style Mami (full-on drama length, tapered fibers, and its unique cluster and crisscross pattern). I lined my lips using the ColourPop Lippie Pencil ($6 on their website) in the shade Love Bug (rich mahogany) and topped the lips off using the Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink Birthday Edition Liquid Lipstick ($9.99 for 0.17 fl oz / 5 ml of product) in the shade #405 Guest of Honor (mid tone blue based pink). For touch ups today I am using the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder ($45 for 0.28 oz / 7.94 g of product at Sephora in the shade Fair #1).
Final Thoughts:

There’s something so stunning about a classic neutral eye with with a pop of shimmer. It pairs well with anything you wear and never goes out of style.
Let’s review some new makeup shall we?

Cover FX Dewy Skin Primer + Hydrating ($38 for 1 fl oz / 30 ml of product at Ulta, I purchased it on sale for $19) It’s billed as a nourishing primer that hydrates skin for 24 hours and imparts an instant dewy finish. Ideal for normal and dry skin, the skin-loving formula is enriched with Coconut Alkanes, hyaluronic acid and squalane to hydrate skin with an all-over radiant glow.
I give this primer a tentative D- I didn’t give it a final grade because I did use a big dollop of it, but my face felt like I have applied petroleum jelly instead of primer. I waited for 10 minutes and it didn’t seem to sink in at all.. It works really well with the matte foundation I used today, however my face did feel greasy and I had to touch up a few times today. I want to test it out with a smaller amount to see if that would make a difference, I will have to hold off on my final grade until I’ve tried it out in several ways.

Cover FX Power Play Foundation ($44 for 1.18 fl oz / 35 ml of product at Ulta, I purchased it on sale for $22, this shade is no longer available… can find on the Cover FX website) It comes in 40 shades and I purchased it in the shade N20 fair light neutral. It’s billed as a cult-favorite liquid foundation that provides all-day waterproof, sweat-proof, transfer-proof coverage, a weightless matte finish and powerful pollution defense.
I give this foundation a solid O+++ This is a demi matte foundation that is medium coverage and builds up to full very easy and without caking up. It looks beautiful on the skin and doesn’t oxidize or separate. It’s a squeeze bottle style foundation that’s perfect for travel.

L.A. Girl HD Pro Corrector Concealer ($4.99 for 0.28 fl oz / 8.28 ml of product at Ulta) It comes in 10 shades and I purchased the shade cool pink (neutralizes dark spots for fair to light skin tones). It’s billed as a lightweight formula provides buildable, long-wearing coverage.
I give this color corrector a solid O+++!!! This shade is perfect to brighten my under eyes… I don’t have deep shadows under the eyes, it’s just dull in complexion… so this shade really made the under eye area bright. A tiny bit is all you need and it has just the right shade of pink to look natural without adding coverage.

NYX Bare With Me Hydrating Face and Body Concealer Serum ($11 for 0.32 fl oz / 9.6 ml of product at Ulta) It comes in 13 shades and I purchased it in the shade fair. It’s billed as 24HR hydration that covers dark circles, acne, and redness. It claims to be medium coverage.
I give this concealer a solid O+++!!! This is the second time I’ve used this concealer and I’ve got to say. I really do like it. It’s got the perfect amount of coverage, never creased and felt hydrating.

Maybelline Cheek Heat Gel-Cream Blush ($7.99 for 0.27 fl oz / 8 ml of product at Ulta, I purchased it on sale for $6.79) It comes in 6 shades and I purchased the shade #20 Rose Flush (a warm rose pink). It is billed as a sheer flush of color with a lightweight, breathable formula that leaves a natural finish.
I give this cream blush a solid O+++ I’ve used this formula before but I truly love this shade. I didn’t give it a higher score only because it’s a bit fiddley to work with, but the final outcome is so pretty that I don’t even mind having to fuss with it.

Maybelline Fit Me Loose Finishing Powder ($8.49 for 0.7 oz /20 g of product at Ulta, I got it on sale for $7.22) It comes in 8 shades and I purchased #10 Fair Light. It’s billed as the perfect finishing touch to your makeup. Mineral-based formula control shine and smooth skin’s texture. It claims to set foundation for hours with a sheer hint of color.
I give this loose powder a solid O+++!!! This powder is silky and really gives the face a soft focus look that really sets the cream products on your face. It’s got a high levitation rate which means it’s perfect for setting the under eyes.

Uoma Beauty Afro.Dis.Iac Liquid Eyeliner ($18 for 0.01 fl oz / 0.30 ml of product on their website) in the shade Cleopatra Ink (black) is billed as a strikingly intense, long lasting, water-resistant liquid eyeliner, now with 80% more product for the same price! With a new ultra fine felt tip design, Afro.Dis.Iac delivers an even deeper jet black formula that applies with smooth precision to create the most intense eye looks. High purity carbon black guarantees dramatic and bold color, while the long lasting formula stays put all day, yet removes easily with warm water.
I give this eyeliner a solid O++ This is pretty good liner. It’s a stiff felt tip liner that doesn’t seep into the fine lines around my eyes, it’s super black and doesn’t budge. It was super simple to get a mid sized wing liner and

Maybelline Tattoo Studio Brow Pomade ($12.99 for 0.16 oz / 3 g of product at Ulta) comes in 6 shades and I purchased it in the shade Deep Brown. It’s billed as a highly-pigmented and long-lasting waterproof formula that sculpts and creates natural looking eyebrows instantly that has 24-hour waterproof wear, does not smudge or transfer with a matte finish. It comes with a little dual ended brush that I threw out because it felt like a disposable brush and I prefect to use a dual ended makeup brush anyway.
I give this brow pomade a stand ovation and a solid O+++!!! This shade has just a tad more red in it than I like, I like my brow colors to be a but on the ashy side, but even with that it’s a really great pomade. I only need to dip my brush into the pot 3 times to completely fill in my full brows, it set pretty fast, and did not budge at all.

Cover FX Monochromatic Bronzer Duo ($38 but currently on sale for $19 for 0.51 oz / 14.46 g of product at Ulta) The swatch picture from left to right shows the blush, the shimmer shade, and a combo of the 2 shades together. This shade is Suntan Bronze (rich bronze) It’s billed as a richly-pigmented palette featuring a duo of matte and shimmer shades for a multidimensional finish.
I give this bronzer a solid O+++!!! I was worried at first because this bronzer appears a bit orange but once I applied it it actually has a red base to it and it give such a pretty flush to the face. I wouldn’t use the shimmer side on it’s own but I think it looks so pretty with combined with the matte side too. Super bummed I didn’t try this bronzer out until just now.

Cover FX Monochromatic Blush Duo ($38 but currently on sale for $19 for 0.51 oz / 14.46 g of product at Ulta). The swatch picture from left to right shows the blush, the shimmer shade, and a combo of the 2 shades together. This shade is Pink Dahlia (soft pink) It’s billed as a richly-pigmented palette featuring a duo of matte and shimmer shades for a multidimensional finish.
I give this blush a solid O++!!! and whatever is required of the blush Gods for this product! This shade photographs powdery pink, but in actuality it’s more of a winter day’s flush. It’s got just the right amount of pigment that you can get away with just on swirl of the brush…. stayed put all day and wasn’t patchy at all.

Maybelline Master Chrome by FaceStudio Metallic Highlighter ($10.99 for 0.24 oz / 6.80 g of product at Ulta, I purchased it on sale for $8.49) It comes in 3 shades and I purchased the shade Molten Pearl (pale champagne) and is billed as the exclusive Nikkie Tutorials X Maybelline Master Chrome Highlighter Shade. Enhance your features with a reflective finish and glowing skin.
I give this highlighter a solid B+ I don’t get the hype behind this highlighter… It took several passes to get it so show up, it went on patchy and it’s not as glowy as everyone on social media says it is… it’s just ok. It’s powdery and there was a mess all over my vanity…. it’s cook I tried it but it didn’t wow me.

Benefit Cosmetics Eye Beam Gel Highlighter For Eyes & Face ($24 for 0.34 fl oz / 10 ml of product) It claims to softly illuminates the eye area and instantly brightens the complexion with a dewy, golden-peach glow that looks naturally lit-from-within. Its sheer yet buildable shade is universally flattering and looks divine on all skin tones. It also claims to be weightless, crease proof and have 8 hour wear.
I give this cream highlighter a solid O+ This cream highlighter leaves the skin looking stunning… it’s not too much pigmentation, there isn’t any glitter in it, just fine mica, and it sets down so if I didn’t want to set my face I wouldn’t have to worry that my highlighter would disappear.

ColourPop Fancy Feathers Super Shock Shadow Duo $10 (on sale now for $7 and for 0.07 oz / 2.1 g) The shades are Deco Days (champagne with peach sheen) and Avant Garde (true gold) However I was sent 2 of the shade Deco Days, which I don’t mind because I simply love the shade.
I give this super shock shadow a solid O+++!!! and an encore! This shade is super pretty on the eye lids. It gives this almost angelic glow to the area it’s applied to. I think this may be my favorite find of this year.

Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink Birthday Edition Liquid Lipstick ($9.99 for 0.17 fl oz / 5 ml of product) It comes in 5 shades and I purchased the shade #405 Guest of Honor (mid tone blue based pink). It’s billed as a limited-edition birthday cake-scented shade that lasts up to 16 hours or 100 cake bites and 50 sips of bubbly. This bold, matte lip color offers unbeatable wear in an unstoppable shade.
I give this lippie a tentative O+ I love the shade and that it lasts all day without needing touch ups. What I don’t like is that it remains a bit sticky on the lips. I pursed my lips together and they stick to each other… now I did cover my full lips with liner and I did use a thicker layer… so I do have to test it out again before I can give a definitive grade.
Well dolls, this walk through and product review is done….

I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in great spirits and health.
Remember dolls… Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick….
