Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope… I’m well today… Catching up on drafts and finally playing with my makeup again…. Hating that my hair is still a work in progress. I really miss wearing my hair out…

For today’s look I used shadows from 2 palettes:

the ColourPop 30 Pan Fade into Hue ($34 for 0.80 oz / 22.7g of product making it 0.27 oz / 0.76 oz and $1.13 per shade on their website) and the Limoncello 12 pan palette (No longer available, was $18 for 0.42 oz / 12 g and 0.035 oz/ 1 g and $1.29 per shade).

Let’s get to today’s walk through and pictorial….

Eyes and Brows:

For today’s eye look I used the ColourPop 30 Pan Fade into Hue ($34 for 0.80 oz / 22.7g of product making it 0.27 oz / 0.76 oz and $1.13 per shade on their website) and the Limoncello 12 pan palette (No longer available, was $18 for 0.42 oz / 12 g and 0.035 oz/ 1 g and $1.29 per shade).
I started by laminating my brows with the I started the way I always have, I applied Got 2b Glued Spiking Glue ($7.15 for 6 oz / 170 g of product at Ulta) to set my brows in place and then I filled them in using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade ($21 for 0.14 oz / 3.97 g of product at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade Ebony (black hair with warm undertones). I then placed a piece of scotch tape (that I first placed on the back of my hand to remove some of the stickiness) on the outer edge of my eyes angled towards the tail of my brows.

I used a flat shadder brush and the Becky Sue Shadow Primer in the shade White (it’s no longer available but there are many alternatives on their site) to clean up my brows and prime my lids and then used a fluffy shadow brush to blend it in. I then took a small concealer brush and the foundation I tested out today to clean up the top part of my brows.

Starting off with the Limoncello palette and using a fluffy crease brush I combined the shades limone squeezy (warm ginger – matte) and amalfi (canary yellow – matte) all through the crease, up into the brow line from the transition and into the outer v of the crease.

Switching into the Hue palette on a fluffy shadder brush I used the shade bonus points (warm yellow – matte) to brighten the crease a bit more.

Now it’s back to the Limoncello palette using a pointed crease brush and combining the shades the grotto (deep terracotta – matte) and semifreddo (neutral suede – matte) I added dimension to the outer v of the crease and then taking a clean blender brush I buffed that color work out making sure to blow it out towards the tail of my brows and up into the outer 1/3 of the transition/ crease line.

On a slightly thinner pointed crease brush and using the shade vespa (rich charcoal brown – matte) I further defined the outer v of the crease, keeping the color work low and tight to the v line.

Using my finger I serenade (pale lemon – metallic) from the Limoncello I tapped that over the middle 1/3 of the mobile lids and then using the shade shine bright (butter-y yellow – metallic) from the Hue palette I tapped it over the inner 2/3 of the mobile lids I then took the super shock shadow Beloved (soft daffodil yellow with pink and gold pinpoints) from the ColourPop Lawn Party Super Shock Shadow Duo ($10 for two 0.074 oz / 2.1 g pots of shadow on their website) and patted that over the outer 1/2 of the inner 1/3 of the mobile lid to add a hint of brightness to the eye.

I removed the tape and cleaned up any fallout….

On a small crease brush, combining the shades tuscan fun (mid-tone brown – matte) and limone squeezy (warm ginger – matte) from the Limoncheo palette I created a soft drop shadow on the lower lash line. I then took a fluffy crease brush and the shade abstract (primary yellow – matte) from the Hue palette to buff out the first shade on the lower lash line. On a angled liner brush using the shade vespa (rich charcoal brown – matte) from Limoncello I deepened my lower lashline and the underside of my tear duct.

I lined the lower water lines and the space created by under lining the underside of the tear duck using the shade extra frosting (soft pale yellow) only offered in the ColourPop Upsy Daisy Crème Gel Liner Kit ($25 for five 0.007 oz / 0.2 g liners on their website).

Final Thoughts:

I typically hate the way I look in yellow, but this look is so pretty!!! I was so happy with the way it came out… I just know I’ll be doing this look again somewhere along this year. It’s a subtle yet very glam look that can take you from day to night.
🎶🎤🎶 So now we’ve come… to the end of the road 🎶🎤🎶 And just like that the walk through and pictorial for today’s look is done…

I hope that you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in great spirits and health.
🥄💄❗ Don’t forget to save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.
