Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I’ve had 5 days of energy and low pain so I took advantage of it and got some much needed house work done. I was able to rearrange my bedroom, and completely clean it… including dusting. I was able to do all the laundry, fold it and put it away all in the same day, a task that someone with an autoimmune illness doesn’t have the luxury to do. I was able to vacuum and deep clean the kitchen and maintain the dishes for the full week. Hubby also took my to Ikea (which I walked the full store without the aid of my cane or wheelchair) and purchased my new vanity (I asked for it for my birthday in September, but he gifted it to me early). We put said vanity together and I was able to organize my makeup room all in 1 week. It’s now Tuesday and I’m feeling the weight of all the activity but I’m still proud that I was able to get so much accomplished. I will have a blog post coming shortly of a new walk through of my makeup room… I’m super proud of the job I did and I finally have the space I’ve been wanting.
Ok… enough of me bragging about my week with super powers… Let’s talk about makeup…..
I have 3 makeup purchases for you today… Charlotte Tilbury, Alamar Cosmetics, Makeup Revolution and ColourPop…
I do have a purchase from Juvia’s Place and Saie Cosmetics coming later this week and I’ll blog once they get here….
Let’s jump right into today’s haul, swatches and first impressions…
*remember as always, all hyperlinks provided are simply for fast location of the products used and not affiliate links… I just did the research so you didn’t have to. All swatches and done on clean bear skin, in one pass and with no primer*
The Charlotte Tilbury Purchases:

I made my purchase on the Charlotte Tilbury website:

The Air Brush Flawless Setting Spray ($35 for 1.1 fl oz / 34 ml of product) is billed as an oil-free, lightweight, hydrating setting spray to prime and set your makeup for up to 16 hours.
I didn’t test this one out since I have an open bottle of setting spray but I will be using this one next.

The Hollywood Flawless Filter ($44 for 1 fl oz / 30 ml of product) comes in 12 shades, I purchased the shade #1 Fair (neutral beige shade for fair skin tones). It’s billed as Inspired by the perfecting properties of social media and illuminating effects of Hollywood lights, it blurs, smooths and illuminates for the most magical glow of your life.
I have used this product for years and have gushed about it countless times in blog posts. I also graded it an A+++!!! but since I now have the added letter of O I now give it an O+++!!!.

The Hollywood Contour Wand ($40 for 0.40 fl oz / 12 ml of product) comes in 2 shades and I purchased the shade medium deep (the deepest shade). It’s billed as the perfect lightweight, buildable, blendable formula to create a well-contoured face.
Again, this is one of the products I’ve used for years… it’s one of my top 3 favorite contour items.

The Pillow Talk Lip and Cheek Glow ($40 for 0.08 oz / 2.5 g of product) comes in 2 shades, I purchased the shade Colour of Dreams (warm rosebud pink). It’s billed as the secret to fresh, radiant blush.
What I learned from this swatch: This is a super creamy balm formula that is sheer but buildable to full coverage. It has this fresh glow to it, does not set down but doesn’t seem to bunch up.

The Magic Vanish ($32 for 0.08 oz / 2.5 g of product) comes in 4 shades and I purchased the shade fair. It’s billed as neutralize and smooth to cheat and conceal pigmentation and brighten the appearance of your under-eye area, for a flawless-looking complexion.
What I learned from this swatch: It’s super pigmented for a color corrector. It’s creamy but dries down a bit so you’ll want to work fast with this one.
The Alamar Cosmetics Purchases:

I purchased these items from the Alamar Cosmetics website, some of the items are from the Disney collab for the movie Encanto…. I was super bummed that I missed out on the lip glosses and hand held mirror that are part of the collection… the items just went so fast.

Pero Primero Primer ($15 for 0.28 fl oz / 8 ml of product) is billed as a water-based primer is designed to “glue” eyeshadow in place and to maximize color and pearl dimension. It is water resistant and promotes long wear time. Enriched with shea butter, it provides skin conditioning & moisturizing benefits that make for comfortable application & wear.
What I learned about this swatch: It’s a neutral yellow primer that has the same texture as the Makeup Forever step one pore primer. It’s an odd texture for an eye primer but I’m intrigued.

No Mink Lashes ($14 per set… all styles are this price) in the style Salvaje. Is billed as for our savage mamis, this lash has it all: length, volume, depth, and attitude.
I didn’t try them on yet but they are soft and fluffy and I can’t wait to try them.

Longwear Lip Liner ($13 for 0.04 oz / 1.2 g of product) in the shade Dimelo Cantando (deep bright mauve) is billed as long lasting and waterproof.
What I learned about this swatch: This is a super creamy lip liner that just glides on with perfection. It is pretty budge proof… I had to remove it with makeup oil.

Longwear Lip Liner ($13 for 0.04 oz / 1.2 g of product) in the shade Mira, Bella (pinkish red). It’s billed the same as the first lip liner.
What I learned about this swatch: The same creamy budge proof formula as the other shade, this blue based red is stunning and would work with any skin tone.

Spread Your Wings Liquid Liner ($14 for 0.6 fl oz / 1.7 ml of product) in the shade Lilac Sin Limites (deep matte purple) is billed as inspired by the beautiful mariposas featured in Disney’s Encanto.
What I learned from this swatch: This liner formula is smudge proof and waterproof… I had to use makeup oil to remove the swatch and it did not bleed into the fine lines. It’s a stunning color.

Spread Your Wings Liquid Liner ($14 for 0.6 fl oz / 1.7 ml of product) in the shade Emerald Eterno (metallic emerald green) is billed as inspired by the beautiful mariposas featured in Disney’s Encanto.
What I learned from this swatch: This liner formula is smudge proof and waterproof… I had to use makeup oil to remove the swatch and it did not bleed into the fine lines. It only looks as if it did because I added a few more layers because I thought I still had glitter on my hand and it was just that this shade is metallic.

Colorete Powder Blush ($17 for 0.18 oz / 5.2 g of product) in the shade I’m Blawesome (cool toned petal pink) is billed as inspired by the flowers that bloom for Isabela everywhere she goes.
What I learned from this swatch: Firstly FINALLY a brand that does embossing right. The embossed butterfly design is deeply embedded which means I’ll be able to enjoy the design for a long while. This formula is beautiful. It’s creamy and just goes on flawlessly. The shade I think might be a bit too cool toned and may wash me out… I’ll have to test it out soon to see. I love that the mirror says Soy unica (I am unique) it’s a bold and powerful statement.

Colorete Powder Blush ($17 for 0.18 oz / 5.2 g of product) in the shade Hermosa Rosa (warm coral) is billed as inspired by the flowers that bloom for Isabela everywhere she goes.
What I learned from this swatch: Firstly FINALLY a brand that does embossing right. The embossed butterfly design is deeply embedded which means I’ll be able to enjoy the design for a long while. This formula is beautiful. It’s creamy and just goes on flawlessly. This shade is to die for! It’s the perfect coral shade for all 4 seasons and as anyone who has read my blog for any length of time knows, I love a good coral blush. I love that the mirror says Yo creo en mi, which means I believe in myself. That’s a strong positive message.

Sun Soaked Highlighter ($21 for 0.18 oz / 5.2 g of product) in the shade Flex Alert (peach and gold duochrome) is billed as  a magical intense shine when the sun hits your complexion.
What I learned from this swatch: First of all can we talk about this shade… stunning. The formula is super creamy and I think I may be low key in love with this brand now… just amazing.
The Makeup Revolution Purchases:

These are the items I purchased from the Makeup Revolution website.

I Heart Revolution x Disney Moana Fairytale Blusher ($10 for 0.24 oz / 6.9 g of product).
What I learned from this swatch: I thought this was a highlighter but it’s a blush that sort of reminds me of NARS’ iconic blush in orgams.

I Heart Revolution x Disney Fairytale Moana Palette ($20 for 0.54 oz / 16.2 g of total product for eyeshadow and 0.09 oz / 17.4 g of total product for the bronzers and highlighters making it… 0.03 oz / 0.9 g for the eyeshadows and 0.2 oz / 5.8 g for the bronzers and highlighters and $1.11 per shade) Their website shad these are blushed however they are bronzer shades not blushes.

The bronzer shades from left to right are: Ancient Ways (light bronze), Discover New Lands (medium bronze) and Let’s Voyage ( deep bronze) and the highlighter shades from left to right are: Free as the Ocean (deep gold) True to Your Heart (peach with a gold flip) and Follow the Stars (bright mid toned gold).

The shades from left to right are: Hei Hei (mustard yellow – matte), Pua (light peach – mate), Island Lifter (icy white – metallic), Grandma Tala (dusty coral), Island Spirit (lime with a slight silver shift – metallic) and Oceania (teal with a slight gold flip – metallic).

The shades from left to right are: Flower (dusty berry – matte), Sail (icy turquoise – metallic), Lava (true orange – matte), Coconut (dusty yellow green – matte), Tamatoa (sheet purple – metallic) and Bold Adventures (deep true orange – matte).

The shades from left to right are: Motunui (bright true blue – matte), Shape Shifter (chocolate brown with a peachy flip – metallic), Sailing Spirit (yellow based orange – matte), Maui (deep dusty green – matte), Magic Hook (peachy tan – metallic) and Tapa (mid toned reddish brown – matte).

I Heart Revolution x Disney Tangled Fairytale Highlighter ($10 for 0.24 oz / 6.9 g of product).
What I learned from this swatch: This highlighter is drier than the other highlighters in this series… it’s possible that this is because this one has more metallic in it than the others do.

I Heart Revolution x Disney Fairytale Tangled Palette ($20 for 0.54 oz / 16.2 g of total product for eyeshadow and 0.09 oz / 17.4 g of total product for the bronzers and highlighters making it… 0.03 oz / 0.9 g for the eyeshadows and 0.2 oz / 5.8 g for the bronzers and highlighters and $1.11 per shade).

The ColourPop Purchases:

The last 5 items I purchased from the ColourPop website.

Jelly Much Shadow ($10 for 0.23 oz / 6.5 g of product) in the shade Astromech (soft silver with a baby blue and lavender duochrome shift) is billed as one swipe of star studded shimmer.
What I learned from this swatch: This shade is super STUNNING!!! I think this may be my favorite jelly much shade! It’s creamy and sets in no time and doesn’t budge.

Jelly Much Shadow ($10 for 0.23 oz / 6.5 g of product) in the shade Protocol (ivory/bright gold duochrome) is billed as intergalactic.
What I learned from this swatch: In the pot you can truly see the ivory shift into gold however the gold is so bright that unless you’re in direct light you can only see the gold.

Graphix Ink Liner ($10 for 0.07 oz / 2 g of product) in the shade Light Saber (bronze with a deep red/copper duochrome shift) is billed as an elegant weapon for a more civilized age.
What I learned from this swatch: This is a sharp felt tip applicator that deposits the perfect amount of product. The shade is a deep shade that shifts more red than copper but is none the less pretty. This shade did not feather into the fine lines.

Graphix Ink Liner ($10 for 0.07 oz / 2 g of product) in the shade Kyber Crystal (rich blue with a violet/teal duochrome shift) is billed as an elegant weapon for a more civilized age.
What I learned from this swatch: It’s the same applicator however this one came out a bit sheer.. perhaps I didn’t shake this one before applying. This shade doesn’t reflect violet… it’s more of a blackened blue/teal duochrome liner. This one did slightly feather into the fine lines however I don’t mind I truly love that teal shift.

ColourPop x Star Wars 15 Pan Palette ($ 24 for 0.23 oz / 6.5 g of total product making it 0.042 oz / 1.2 g and $1.60 per shade) is billed as the Rebellion vs the Empire. You get 1 super shock shadow, 6 mattes, 5 metallics, 2 tie dye metallics and 1 sequin matte.
What I learned from swatching this palette: First I really expected the tie dye shadows to muddle but they didn’t. The metallics in this palette are super bright and punchy. The mattes are buttery and super pigmented. There are duochromes in this palette that are stunning too. I may be bias because Star Wars is life but I love every palette they have come out with and they all pair well together.

The shades from left to right are: Rebel Princess (opal white with a pink/blue duochrome shift – super shock), Star Fighter (pinkish beige – matte), Hyper Drive (warm beige with a gold/green duochrome shift – metallic), Loyalty (warm brown – matte), and Outer Rim (white, black and red – tie dye metallic).

The shades from left to right are: Jedi Knight (bright blue – metallic), Kessel Run (bright silver – metallic), New Hope (bright gold – metallic), Galactic Empire (bright red – metallic) and Alliance (deep taupe – matte).

The shades from left to right are: Space Pirate (white, bright blue and navy – tie dye metallic), Rebellion (indigo – matte), First Mate (rich brown with gold pin points – sequin matte), Republic (ruby red – matte) and Star Destroyer (true black – matte).
That completes today’s haul, walk through and first impressions….
I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in great spirits and health.
Remember dolls… Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.
XOXO, Nita.
