Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I’m doing pretty good today. My pain level is around level 4… first time in almost 2 years that it’s that low. My fatigue is waning but that’s to be expected… I’ve been on the go for the past few days.

Today’s look is inspired by the Transgender Flag… light blue, pink and white. Light Blue traditionally represents boys, pink traditionally represents girls and white represents those who are in transition.

For today’s look I used shades from 5 palettes… ColourPop Fade into Hue 20 Pan Palette ($34 for 0.80 oz / 22.7 g of total product on their website making it 0.27 oz / 0.76 g and $1.13 per shade), Juvia’s Place The Festival 9 Pan Palette (retail price is $20 but is on sale for $13 for 1.14 oz / 32.4 g of total product on their website making it 0.13 oz / 3.6 g and $2.22 per shade), Juvia’s Place Wahala Palette ($37 for 1.25 oz / 35.4 g of total product… making it 0.063 oz / 1.77 g and $1.85 per shade), Blend Bunny The Blends 30 Pan Matte Pigment Palette ($39 for 31.5 oz / 30 g of product…. making it 1.05 oz, 1 g and $1.30 per shade) and Sweetest Reality 30 Pan Palette ($30 on their website). For the purposes of this post I’ll refer to them as CP H, JP F, JP W, BB B and SR.

Eyes and Brows:

I started by laminating my brows with the I started the way I always have, I applied Got 2b Glued Spiking Glue ($7.15 for 6 oz / 170 g of product at Ulta) to set my brows in place. I wanted a fluffier more whimsical eyebrow look…

so I started with the Milani Weekend Brow Pen ($8.99 for 0.03 fl oz / 0.89 ml of product) in the shade espresso to create hairlike strokes through my brows in the areas that were missing hair.

I then used the Juvia’s Place I Sculpt, I Shade Brow Pencil ($12 for 0.17 oz / 4.8 g of product) in the shade dark brown to outline the bottom of the brows and create my arches and tails.

I carved out the bottom of my brows and primed the transition area of my eyes using the P.Louise Base ($14 for 0.504 fl oz / 15 ml of product) in the shade Rumour 0.5 (pale beige) using a tiny detail brush to apply the primer and a round dome brush to evenly distribute it.

I then carved out the top of my brows and shortened the brow hair strokes using Milk Makeup Flex Concealer ($28 for 0.2 oz/ 5.9 mL of product) in the shade Creme (very fair with warm peach undertones) using a tiny c brush to blend it in.

I popped on a pair of Crown Noire Full Cut Crease Stencils in the style WING IT ($13.99 for a pack of 14 pairs), applying them into the crease so that I had plenty of space for the colors above it. I then took the shade lovecraft (mid-tone warm pink – matte) from the CP H palette and applied in ½ on the stencil and ½ on the crease using a short pencil brush. I then buffed the shade out using a fluffy blender brush with nothing on it.

I took a tiny crease brush and the shade Dream (pastel blue) from the BB B palette and buffed it right on the line of the pink and up toward the brows.

I removed the stencils and then used a cotton bud and some face cream to clean up any fallout and to straighten the cut creases.

I popped on a pair of shadow shields (i get mine from amazon this is the ones I use -> HERE ) and then using a small detail brush and some Beauty Creations Color Base Primer ($4 for 0.5 fl oz / 15 ml of product) in the shade white out (pure white) I applied it to the black space of the cut crease then used a fully crease brush to pat it in.

Going into the SR palette on a flat topped packer brush I took the first shade of the first row (the white shade) and packed the shade all over the blank space.

Using a flat shader brush and going into the JP F palette I used the shade Uli (icy white – shimmer) all over the same blank space to add shimmer.

Using a flat topped detailer brush and the Beauty Creations Color Base Primer ($4 for .05 fl oz / 15 ml of product) to create a small wing on my upper lash lines.

I took a small shader brush and the shade more of the shade Dream (pastel blue) from the BB B palette and tapped it over the newly created wing liner. I then removed the shadow shields and cleaned up the edges of the liner and any color that transferred to bottom lash line.

I used my finger to apply some NYX Long Lasting Glitter Primer ($6.50 for 0.33 fl oz / 10 ml of product) over the ball of the eye (the very center) and then using the same finger I applied some Alora Cosmetics Mother of Pearls Loose Glitter ($3.99 for .11 oz / 3 gm of product) over that. The pictures don’t do this eye look justice… there is so much sparkle I am so in love with it.
I then switched to my complexion and did the rest of my face before moving on the bottom lashline…. when I came back to do the bottom lashline I….

Started by tightlining my upper and lower water lines using the LA Girl Shockwave Eyeliner ($4.49 for 0.04 oz / 1.13 g of product) in the shade electric (bright bluebell) and then I smudged the same eyeliner on the lower lash line bringing it down a little bit. I then used an angled liner brush and the shade Dream (pastel blue) from the BB B palette to set the lower lashline and make the blue really pop.

Going into the JP W palette using a tiny crease brush and the shade BUSY BODY (bright magenta pink – matte) I smudged this on my lower lashline ½ on the blue and ½ on under it creating a medium sized drop shadow.

I then took a pointed crease brush and more of the shade lovecraft (mid-tone warm pink – matte) from the CP H palette to soften the drop shadow and lighten the pink a bit.
Complexion:

I primed my face using the Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Pro Filt’r Hydrating Primer ($34 for 1.08 fl oz / 31.94 ml of product). Today I wanted to practice my underpainting skills…. I used Juvia’s Place I Am Magic Concealer ($14 for 0.34 fl oz / 10.06 ml of product) in the shade J2 (deepest dark skin neutral warm undertones) to do the contour portion and the shade J24 (fairest skin with neutral cool undertones) for the highlighting portion. I then tested out the Tarte Shape Tape Cloud CC Cream ($39 for 1 fl oz / 30 ml of product) in the shade 16N (fair/light neutral).

For cream bronzer I used Juvia’s Place I Am Magic Concealer ($14 for 0.34 fl oz / 10.06 ml of product) in the shade J8 (deep dark with neutral undertones). For cream blush I used a ColourPop blush stick in the shade Under Pressure (this shade is discontinued, it’s a bright pink). I color corrected using Milani Peach Tinted Under Eye Brightener ($8.99 for 0.51 fl oz / 15 ml of product) and concealed using LA Girl HD Pro Concealer ($4.99 for 0.28 fl oz / 8 g of product) in the shade porcelain (the second lightest shade). For cream highlighter I used the Bareminerals Bare Pro Glow Highlighter (no longer available) in the shade free. I set my undereyes, center of the forehead, cupid’s bow and chin using Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Setting Powder ($34 for 0.98 oz / 27.78 g of product) in the shade Lavender (light with cool undertones for brightening) and for the rest of my face I used the Maybelline Lasting Fix Banana Setting Powder ($11.99 for 0.21 oz / 6 g of product). To bronze my face I used the Flower Beauty Heatwave Luminous Bronzer ($11.29 for 0.2 oz / 5.6 g of product) in the shade Sunswept (warm bronzer for medium to tan skin tones). I topped my blush off using NARS Blush ($32 for 0.16 oz / 4.54 g of product) in the shade Torrid (warm coral). For highlighter touch up I used MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Highlight Face Powder ($38 for 0.35 oz to 9.9 g of product)in the shade Soft and Gentle (gilded peach).
Lips, Lashes, and Finishing:

I lined my lips using NYX Suede Matte Velvet Vegan Lip Liner ($4 for 0.035 oz / 0.99 g of product) in the shade Clinger (hot pink) and filled in the sides of my lips. I then topped my lips off with MAC Lipstick Cream ($19 for 0.1 oz / 2.84 g of product) in the shade brave (pinky beige with white pearl – satin). I spritzed my face with LA Girl HD Pro Setting Finish Spray. I coated my lashes in 2 coats of Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Lashes Mascara ($29 for 0.27 oz / 7.65 g of product) and popped on a pair of Juvia’s Place Nubian Lashes ($13 per pair) in the style Kush (a medium volume lash style).
Final Thoughts:

Tarte Shape Tape Cloud CC Cream ($39 for 1 fl oz / 30 ml of product) It comes in 21 shades and I purchased it in the shade 16N (fair light neutral). It’s billed as a light-as-air formula with medium-buildable coverage and claims to be light as air with a bouncy cloud like texture and a natural matte finish that looks and feels like skin. It also claims to be a 24 hour makeup that gives 24 hours of hydration and 24 hour crease proof technology and is also transfer proof.
I give this cc cream a solid O- : This is a really pretty cc cream. It doesn’t oxidize, it built up to full coverage with very little product, it was smooth and left my complexion looking flawless. It doesn’t just sit on the surface of the face. The shade is a bit on the yellow side and that is the reason I didn’t grade this one higher… for shades that are a bit on the yellow side choose a lavender or pink setting powder to bring that yellow down.
Thanks for stopping by… I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in great spirits and health.

Don’t forget dolls… to save a spoon for a bit of lipstick…

💙XOXO, Nita 💙
