Hey doll hey!!! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I’m doing well. Thursday 15th was my birthday and I was able to play with my makeup!!! So I figured I would do a makeup post on it.
I used a lot of new makeup… I haven’t been able to swatch or blog about the items but I will do a review of the new items in my final thoughts….

Since it was my first time in a few months I decided to make it an easy makeup session for me. Hubby really liked how it turned out.

For today’s look I used shadows from 4 palettes… the Mikayla x Glamlite Paht Two palette ($42 for a 30 pan palette on the glamlite website)

the Colourpop On the List palette ($18 for a 12 pan palette at Ulta)

the Juvia’s Place Wahala palette ($37 for a 20 pan palette on the Juvia’s Place website)

and the Mikayla x Glamlite ($42 for a 30 pan palette on the glamlite website).

Well let’s talk makeup application…

Let’s get into it….
Eyes and Brows:

I started by setting my brows in place using Got 2 B Glued Spiking Glue ($7.99 at Ulta). I then created hair like strokes in the bald areas of my brows using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Superfine Micro-Stroking Brow Pen ($22 at Ulta ) in the shade Ebony and then filled in the brows using the Morphe Brow Cream ($8 at Ulta) in the shade Java (the deepest warm shade). I cleaned up the top part of the brow using the Milk Makeup Flex Concealer ($28 on their website) in the shade Buff (fair with neutral undertones) and the bottom of the brows using my P Louise Base ($12 on their website and on the Morphe website) in the shade Rumour 05, I also primed my lids with this primer. Starting with the Mikayla x Glamlite palette I used the shade Harley (like tan) all over the lid from lashline to brow line and then the shade How Ya Doin’ (mid-toned caramel brown) all through the crease and up to the brow line. I then went into the Colourpop On the List and used the shade Highest Rated (true warm brown) to deepen the crease and then the shade Party Like (deep warm brown) on the outer 1/2 of the crease. To deepen up the outer V of the crease and the outer 1/3 of the mobile lid I went into the Juvia’s Place Wahala and used the shade Sis (cool toned dark brown). For the mobile lid I popped back into the ColourPop palette and used the shade Scheme (emerald green metallic) on the middle 1/3 of the mobile lid. I then went into the Mikayla x Glamlite Paht Two palette and used the shade Poppin’ (pink and ivory duochrome metallic) over the inner 1/3 of the mobile lid and to highlight the inner corner I used the shade Glazed (icy white metallic) from the same palette. From the same palette I used the shade Blackest Black (true deep black) to create a wing at the corner of my upper lash line. Sticking with the same palette for the lower lash line I first used the shade Cody James (deep forest green) all over the lower lash line and creating a deep drop shadow. I deepened the lash line further by using the Beauty Kills (deep olive green). I then used what was left on the brush that I used the shade Party Like (deep warm brown) to buff out the lower lash line.
Complexion:

I primed my face using the Fenty Pro Filt’r Hydrating Primer ($34 at Ulta and Sephora). I then used the Fenty Eaze Drop’lit Glow Enhancer ($34 at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade Taffy Topaz (champagne) to add extra glow for my special day. I contoured using the SheGlam Sun Sculpt Liquid Contour ($4.99 on the SheGlam website) in the shade Soft Tan. I color corrected the under eyes using the Fenty Match Stix Correcting Skinstick ($28 at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade Rose Quartz (cool pink for light skin tones). For foundation today I used NARS Radiant Longwear Foundation ($49 at Ulta) in the shade Mont Blanc (L2 very light with neutral undertones). My cream bronzer is Makeup Revolution Ultra Cream Bronzer ($8 at Ulta) in the shade Deep (the deepest shade). My cream blush today is Milk Makeup Lip & Cheek Blush Stick ($22 at Sephora) in the shade Perk (coral). I skipped the cream highlight since I was testing a new powder highlighter…. For concealer I used LancÔme Teint IdÔle Ultra Wear All Over Concealer ($29 at Ulta) in the shade 090 (Ivoire N). For my powder bronzer today I used Nabla Skin Bronzing ($24 at Ulta) in the shade Profile (dark warm brown). For powder blush I chose Nabla Skin Glazing ($24 at Ulta) in the shade Truth (peachy rose) and for powder highlight I used Nabla Skin Glazing ($24 at Ulta) in the shade Ozone (neutral ivory).
Lips, Lashes, and Finishing:

I set my under eyes using Fenty Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Setting Powder ($34 at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade Lavender (brightening) and also in Butter (light medium) to set the rest of my face. I coated my lashes in Maybelline Falsies Lash Lift Mascara ($11.99 at Ulta) and then popped on a pair of Juvia’s Place Lashes ($13 at Ulta and on the Juvia’s Place website) in the style Nefertiti. I set my face using LA Girl HD Pro Setting Finishing Spray ($5.99 at Ulta). I lined my lips and filled them in using the lip liner and lipstick from the Mikayla x Glamlite Paht Two in the Golden Dreams lip set ($20) and then topped them off with the lip gloss from the Lucky Charms lip set.
Final Thoughts:

This look was simple but stunning. I got tons of compliments at the restaurant. I truly love green because it brings out the caramel in my eyes and hubby really likes the shade on me. I loved the half wing I created at the outer part of my lash line as well, it blended into my lashes so beautifully.

Mikayla x Glamlite Paht Two palette ($42 for a 30 pan palette on the glamlite website) is the 2nd collab with Glamlite and has more greens and blues than the first palette.
The shades are: Glazed, Spahkly, Poppin’, Dreams, Insane, Cloud Nine, Glittah, 11.20.21, Gold AF, Bro, Stahbies, Beauty Kills, 13, Fall Rivah, Grateful, Cody James, The Mahket, The Commons, Mama Wang, Pat Rice, Oh My Gahd, Mee Moo, Baddie, Authenticity, I Love You, No Hash Lines, 2021, Wicked Awesome, You and Balhckest Black.
I give this palette a solid O+++!!! : This palette is so stunning the shades are all my favorite shades and are just as creamy and easy to blend as the first palette was. I haven’t swatched all the shades but as soon as I can I will do an update on the shades with what colors they are.

Colourpop On the List palette ($18 for a 12 pan palette at Ulta) is the newest 12 pan palette to be released.
The shades are: Hillside (metallic icy champagne), Take Two (soft yellow peach with gold pin points), Boundaries (matte peachy coral), Name? (matte khaki green), +1 (matte soft neutral pink), VIP (metallic peachy pink), Reality (metallic purple undertone with green & blue duochrome finish), Highest Rated (matte true warm brown), Valet (metallic ruby red), Party Like (deep warm-toned brown), Scheme (metallic emerald green) and The Ropes (matte olive green).
I give this palette a solid O++ : This is a stunning palette, it would have been graded higher but there isn’t a brow bone shade and there really isn’t that much of a gradient for the deeper shades. The shades are buttery soft and blend well and play well with other palettes.

Fenty Eaze Drop’lit Glow Enhancer ($34 at Ulta and Sephora) comes in 4 shades (one for fair, light, medium and deep skin tones) and is billed as an all-over glow enhancer that features skin-loving ingredients that help hydrate, brighten and reduce the look of pores.
I give this product a solid O+++!!! and I wish I could grade it higher!! : This is a gorgeous product! It’s got a beautiful glow, not too much so it can be worn alone but is stunning under foundation. It didn’t break up my makeup or make it look overly greasy. I think this may well be my favorite glow enhancer yet.

Fenty Match Stix Correcting Skinstick ($28 at Ulta and Sephora) comes in 4 shades (fair, light. medium and deep) and is billed as a longwear, light-as-air color-correcting skinstick designed to brighten and neutralize dark under eye circles and discoloration on the skin.
I give this corrector a solid A- : I wanted to love this corrector. It’s pretty and does brighten the under eyes, however it’s a bit on the drier side and I prefer my correctors to be creamy since it’s the first of the makeup to touch the delicate under eyes. I’ll use it but I will have to pass on repurchasing it it was just too dry for me.

Makeup Revolution Ultra Cream Bronzer ($8 at Ulta) comes in 4 shades however the deepest shade is not nearly deep enough for the beautiful undertones of our Nubian kings and queens and is billed as an ultra creamy ultra blendable cream contour.
I give this bronzer a solid A+++ : I would have graded higher but the shade selection is abysmal. It’s truly creamy but is in no way a contour… it’s a straight bronzer…. but it blends like a dream, isn’t greasy and lasts all day.

LancÔme Teint IdÔle Ultra Wear All Over Concealer ($29 at Ulta) comes in 20 shades with plenty of representation for all skin tones and is billed as a hydrating, lightweight, full coverage concealer that brightens dark under eyes and covers imperfections without creasing or caking.
I give this concealer tentative O- : It’s a really pretty concealer but by hour 5 it started to crease. I did use a new corrector so I don’t want to grade this one until I’m able to test it out with my normal correctors.

Nabla Skin Bronzing ($24 at Ulta) comes in 4 shades with not enough representation for all skin tones and is billed as summer all year around, powders with zero thickness and enhance your skin with a super natural sunkissed effect. The adherent and absolutely imperceptible formula gives your skin a radiant and bronzed look.
I give this bronzer a solid A- : I so want to grade this one higher, truly I do. It’s gorgeous, but there isn’t enough shade range.

Nabla Skin Glazing ($24 at Ulta) comes in 4 shades for blush and is billed as a kaleidoscope of thin and dazzling pearls that redefine the concept of light. The Skin Glazing luminous powders have zero thickness and light up your skin with a mirrored effect and unexpected brilliance.
I give this blush a solid O+++!!! : This blush is STUNNING!!!! I so need to pick up more shades!!!

Nabla Skin Glazing ($24 at Ulta) comes in 3 shades for highlight and is billed as a kaleidoscope of thin and dazzling pearls that redefine the concept of light. The Skin Glazing luminous powders have zero thickness and light up your skin with a mirrored effect and unexpected brilliance.
I give this highlighter a solid O+++!!! and wish I could grade it higher: This hands down is my favorite powder highlighter. It was the perfect glow with zero glitter.

Maybelline Falsies Lash Lift Mascara ($11.99 at Ulta) comes in 3 shades and is billed as giving length, volume and lash lift effect with Maybelline Falsies Lash Lift. Fiber-infused formula thickens and extends lashes.
I give this mascara a solid C-: There is nothing special about this mascara. It did nothing for my lashes whatsoever… didn’t hold a curl, didn’t lengthen and didn’t give volume at all.

Juvia’s Place Lashes ($13 at Ulta and on the Juvia’s Place website) in the style Nefertiti is billed as comfortable, light weight and add the perfect finish to any makeup look.
I give these lashes a solid O+++!!! but again I wish I could grade them higher… the whole line of lashes is stunning. They have a mid sized band and the lashes are so light and fluffy and silky smooth. They just became my favorite lashes… yes, I know… I was hard core ColourPop lashes… that is until I tried these beauties out.

Mikayla x Glamlite Paht Two in the Golden Dreams lip set ($20)
I give this lip set a solid O+++!!! : Everything about this formula is amazing! It’s creamy, long lasting and has the perfect undertones.

Mikayla x Glamlite Paht Two in the Lucky Charms lip set.
I give this lip set a solid O+++!!! : Everything about this formula is amazing! It’s creamy, long lasting and has the perfect undertones.
That concludes today’s walk through.
I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in great spirits and health.
Remember dolls… save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.

Thanks doll. I think I like the darker blue more than when it was pure turquoise
