Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I’m doing ok… It’s a bit chilly here in Florida and so I have some muscle and joint pain but all in all not so bad.

Today’s look (from Monday 12-12-22) was chosen by the hubby.

I use makeup face charts to plan out my looks for the week… and, since hubby was off and we were going to run errands together, I let him choose which chart I’d do today.
For today’s look I used shades from 2 palettes…

1.) ColourPop Feelin’ Bubbly (CP) 2.) Pat McGrath Mothership VI – Midnight Sun (PM)

This look turned out so sultry that I just know I’ll end up doing this one for date night sometime.

Ready for the walk-through and pictorial of this look? Let’s take a look….
Eyes and Brows:

I started by setting my brows in place using Got 2 B Glued Spiking Glue ($7.99 at Ulta). I then used the Marc Jacobs Beauty Brow Wow Duo Brow (discontinued as the company is now defunct but this product can still be found on sites like Walmart and Posh Mark). I cleaned up the top part of the brow using the Milk Makeup Flex Concealer ($28 on their website) in the shade Creme (Very fair with warm peach undertones) and the bottom of the brows using my P Louise Base ($12 on their website and on the Morphe website) in the shade Rumour 05, I also primed my lids with this primer.

On a fluffy crease brush I took a combo of the CP shade Get a Grape (chocolate brown matte) and the PM Extreme Dusk (charcoal brown matte) into the crease and outer 1/3 of the mobile lids.

On a denser crease brush using only the PM Extreme Dusk (chocolate brown matte) to further deepen the outer v of the crease.

I then cleaned up the inner 2/3 of the mobile lids with some micellar water and a flat concealer brush.

Using the same concealer brush I took more of Rumor 05 and placed that over the newly cleaned inner 2/3 of the mobile lids, buffing the product into the outer 1/3 of the mobile lid.

I wiped off the concealer brush and then went into CP’s So Complex (ivory matte) and buffed overtop of the primer.

Going into the PM palette with my finger I tapped the shade Astral Solstice (glittering platinum) all over the inner 2/3 of the mobile lids. To keep the sparkly eyeshadow from falling on my cheeks I applied a coat of mascara before removing the shadow shields.

For the lower lash line I used the combo of PM Taboo (brown ochre matte) and PM Extreme Dusk (charcoal brown matte) and created a mid sized drop shadow. I lined the lower water lines using the ColourPop BFF Creme Gel Liner ($7 for 0.007 o / 0.2 g of product on their website) in the shade Sunnyvale (chestnut brown).
Complexion:

I primed my face using the BECCA Lightshifter Dewy Tint (BECCA is now defunct but this item can be found on Amazon, Walmart.com and Ebay) in the shade Luminary 01. Today’s foundation is Flower Beauty Light Illusion Liquid Foundation ($14.29 for 1 fl oz / 30 ml of product at Ulta and most Walmarts) in the shade Natural Beige. I color corrected using the Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Match Stix Corrector Skinstick ($28 for .25 oz / 7.1 g) in the shade Rose Quartz (cool pink for light skin tones) and concealed the under eyes using Tarte Shape Tape Ultra Creamy Concealer ($30 for 0.3381 fl. oz / 10 mL of product at Ulta) in the shade 12N Fair Neutral. I contoured using Makeup Revolution Eye Bright Concealer ($10 for 0.1 fl oz / 2.96 mL of product at Ulta) in the shade Warm Chestnuts (dark skin tones w/ neutral undertone). I bronzed using the Hank & Henry Contour Stick ($25 on their website) in the shade Embrosa. For cream blush I used ColourPop Blush Stix ($10 for 0.28oz /8 g of product on their website.) in the shade Under Pressure (peach). For cream highlighter I used the bareMinerals Barepro Glow ($29 for 0.5 fl oz / 14 ml of product on their website) in the shade free, I then locked my bronzer and blush using Kim Chi Chic Thailor Bronzer Duo in the shade 04 Coco Cocoa (deepest shade) and Alamar Cosmetics Encanto Colorete Powder Blush ($17 on their website) in the shade Hermosa Rosa (coral). For highlighter today I used the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Highlight Face Powder ($40 at Ulta) in the shade Soft and Gentle (gilded peach bronze).
Lips, Lashes, and Finishing:

I lined my lips using the Makayla x Glamlite Paht 2 lipliner from the Lucky Charms Lip Set ($20 for a lip liner, lipstick and lip gloss in pale nude) and then filled in the lips using Natasha Denona I Need a Nude lipstick ($27 for 0.14 oz/ 4 g of product at Sephora, Beautylish and the the Natasha Denona website) in the shade Liron (light peachy nude) and topped the lips off using the Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Gloss Bomb ($20 for 0.30 oz/ 9 mL of product at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade Fenty Glow (shimmery rose gold) For mascara I used and then popped on a pair of Juvia’s Place Nubian Lashes ($13 for 16.5 mm lashes at Ulta and on the Juvia’s Place website ) in the style Nefertiti. I set the under eyes using Maybelline Lasting Fix Banana Setting Powder ($11.99 for 0.21 oz / 6 g of product at Ulta) and the rest of the face using the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Loose Setting Powder ($6.49 for 3.2 oz / 90.71 g of product at Ulta, also sold at most drugstores) in the shade translucent. I then set my makeup with Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray ($21 for the 1.1 oz/ 34 ml size and $36 for the 3.3 oz / 100 ml size as Sephora and the Charlotte Tilbury website).
Final Thoughts:

Although this was a super sultry look it was simple to do and didn’t take long to create and as a bonus hubby truly loved the look.

Today’s scent was Versace Yellow Diamond Eau de Toilette ($65 for the 1 fl oz / 30 ml size, $85 for the 1.7 fl oz / 50.3 ml size and $105 for the 3 fl oz / 88.7 ml size at Ulta and Sephora). It’s a powdery floral with the scent notes of:
Top notes are Amalfi Lemon, Pear, Bergamot and Neroli.
Middle notes are Mimosa, Freesia, Water Lily and African Orange flower.
Base notes are Musk, Guaiac Wood and Amber.
This is a seriously posh scent that is perfect for date night… it’s ok for the office too but is high in floral so not suitable for the doctor’s or library.

Well dolls… that’s it for this post… I hope that you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in great spirits and health….

Remember spoonie darlings… Save yourself a spoon for a bit of lipstick.

XOXO, Nita
