Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I’m starting to feel better. at least I can type with my hands instead of my voice today. I had enough energy to shower AND wash my hair today!! So happy to have enough energy. I even have enough energy to cook a full dinner.
On tonight’s menu… roast beef, cheesy creamed spinach, corn and homemade mash potatoes and dinner rolls.

I know we are in winter but the Tiny Decisions app apparently doesn’t know that… it chose eyeshadow palettes that I couldn’t possibly do many winter looks with. Today’s look is very beachy and very springtime.

The app chose look#5.

For today’s look I used all 4 of the palettes for this week and 1 ColourPop Super Shock….

1. Juvia’s Place The Berries 6 Pan Palette (retail price $14 for 0.47 oz/ 13.2 g of product on their website making it 0.078 oz /2.2 g and $2.33 per pan on their website). I’ll refer to this palette as the JPB.

2. Huda Beauty The New Nude Eyeshadow Palette ($65 for 19.7 G / 0.69 OZ total product making it $3.72 and 1.09 g / 0.038 oz per pan at Sephora). I’ll refer to this palette as the HNN.

3. ColourPop Smoke & Roses 30 Pan Palette ($34 for 1.16 oz / 33g of product making it 0.039 oz / 1.1 g and $1.13 per pan on their website). I’ll refer to this palette as the CPSR.

4. Huda Empowered Eyeshadow Palette ($67 for 0.59 oz / 16.8 g of total product making it $3.72 and 0.033 oz / 0.93 g of product per pan). I’ll refer to this palette as the HE.

5. ColourPop Super Shock Shadow ($7 for 0.074 oz / 2.1 g of product on their website) in the shade On Set (metallic ocean with gold flecks).

Let’s get going with today’s walk-through and pictorial.

Eyes and Brows:

I started by setting my brows in place using Got 2 B Glued Spiking Glue ($7.99 at Ulta) and then I outlined and filled the brows in using the Anastasia Beverly HIlls DIPBROW® Waterproof, Smudge Proof Brow Pomade ($21 for 0.14 oz / 4 g of product on their website as well as at Sephora and Ulta) in the shade Ebony. I cleaned up the top part of the brow using the Milk Makeup Flex Concealer ($28 on their website) in the shade Creme (Very fair with warm peach undertones) and the bottom of the brows using the Beauty Creations Color Base Primer ($4 for 0.5 fl oz / 15 ml of product on their website) in the shade White Out, I also primed my lids with this primer.

With a short pencil brush I set my brow line using the shade Bare (light vanilla – matte) from the HNN.

Sticking with this palette I went into the shade Teddy (dusty reddish brown – matte) on a fluffy crease brush and applied it over the full lid (from lash line to brow line).

Hopping over to the HE on a crease brush I defined the crease and outer 1/3 of the mobile lids using the shade Legacy (rich terracotta based mid toned brown – matte).

Using a pencil brush I went into the CPSR and defined the outer v of the crease and the very outer part of the outer 1/3 of the mobile lid using the shade spun around (red deep brown – matte).

USing a fluffy crease brush I went into the JPB and deepened the outer v more using shade #1 ( deep berry – matte).

Using my finger I applied the ColourPop Super Shock Shadow ($7 for 0.074 oz / 2.1 g of product on their website) in the shade On Set (metallic ocean with gold flecks) and then used what was left on the brush from the shade Legacy (rich terracotta based mid toned brown – matte) I blended out the line of demarcation between the middle and outer 1/3 of the mobile lids.

For the lower lash lines I went into the shade Teddy (dusty reddish brown – matte) on a short pencil brush from the HNN and created a small drop shadow (that will be lengthened in the next steps).

On a mid sized pencil brush using shade #2 (mid tone rose pink – matte) from the JPB I lengthened the drop shadow.

On a tiny stiff pencil brush and shade #6 ( deep plum – matte) from the JPB I defined the lash line.

I took a fluffy crease brush with nothing on it and buffed the whole lash line to defuse the harsh lines. I then took the deep plum – matte. Then using my pink I applied Alamar Encanto Sun Soaked Highlighter ($21 for 0.18 oz / 5.2 g of product on their website) in the shade Flex Alert (peach with a gold duochrome shift) to the inner corners of the eyes and then liner the water lines using the LA Girl Shockwave Lip Liner ($4.49 for 0.04 oz / 1.13 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Pop (neon hot pink).
Complexion:

I skipped primer today, honestly I just forgot but I am wearing the Good Molecules Silicone-Free Priming Moisturizer ($12 for 1.7 fl oz / 50 ml of product at Ulta). I always use this as the last step of my skin care routine but I ended up using a second layer so I didn’t want to add a primer on top of it. I contoured using the Juvia’s Place I Am Magic Concealer ($14 for the 0.34 fl oz / 10.05 ml size and $10 for the 0.11 fl oz / 3.25 ml size at Ulta) in the shade #2 (for deepest dark skin w/ neutral warm undertone). For foundation I used the Huda Beauty #FauxFilter Luminous Matte Foundation ($42 for 1.18 fl oz / 35 ml of product on their website and at Sephora) in the shade #200B Shortbread (light with beigey-pink undertone). Cream bronzer today is Makeup Revolution Ultra Cream Bronzer ($8 for 0.24 oz / 6.8 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Deep (the deepest shade), cream blush is Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Soft Pinch Liquid Blush ($23 for 0.25 fl oz / 7.5 ml of product on their website and at Sephora) in the shade Happy (cool pink) and cream highlight today is the Flower Beauty Spotlight Liquid Highlight ($14.49 for 0.47 fl oz / 14 ml of product at Ulta and at most walmarts) in the shade Gleam (rose gold). I color corrected using the Pixi By Petra Correction Concentrate ($12 for 0.10 oz / 2.83 g of product at Target and most drug stores) in the shade Brightening Peach and then concealed using the Beauty Bakerie Instabake 3 in 1 Concealer ($20 for 0.19 fl oz / 5.62 ml of product on their website and at Ulta) in the shade #017 Frappe Hour (2nd lightest shade). I set my under eyes using the RCMA No Color Powder (14 for 3 oz / 85.4 g of product sold several places I purchase it on the Beautylish website) and the rest of my face using the Uoma Beauty Trippin Smooth Powder ($29.50 for 0.35 oz / 10 g of product on their website). My touch up powder for this week is Benefit Cosmetics Hello Happy Velvet Powder Foundation ($30 for 0.25 oz / 7.08 g of product at Ulta) in the shade #4 (medium neutral), however I did not need to touch up again today, this setting powder is the real deal GOAT. I touched up my bronzer using the BECCA Sunlit Bronzer (no longer available due to company closing down) in the shade Ipanema Sun, I skipped powder blush today but did use Alamar Encanto Sun Soaked Highlighter ($21 for 0.18 oz / 5.2 g of product on their website) in the shade Flex Alert (peach with a gold duochrome shift).
Lips, Lashes and Finishings:

I lined my lips using the NYX Suede Matte Velvet Vegan Lip Liner ($4 for 0.03 oz / 0.85 g of product on their website) in the shade Pink Lust (vivid pink) and filled in the lips using MAC Amplified Lipstick ($19 for 0.1 oz / 3 ml of product on their website) in the shade Show Orchid (mid toned deep fuchsia – frost). I topped that with Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss (this shade discontinued) in the shade Parfait (mid toned deep coral – metallic). I coated my lashes in 1 coat of Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Full Frontal Volume, Lift & Curl Mascara (24 for the 0.42 fl oz / 12.5 ml size and $13 for the 0.15 foz / 4.7 go size on their website and at Sephora and Ulta) in the shade Cuz I’m Black (true black) and popped on a pair of Mikayla Paht Two x Glamlite lashes ($12 on their website) in the style HIgh Fashion. I set my whole face using the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray ($36 for the 3.3 oz / 100 ml size and $21 for the 1.1 oz/ 34 ml size at Sephora).
Final Thoughts:

Today’s scent is Versace Yellow Diamond Eau de Toilette ($65 for the 1 fl oz / 30 ml size. $85 for the 1.7 fl oz / 50.28 ml size. $105 for the 3 fl oz / 88.72 ml size. Sold at Ulta).
I really love how the eye had neutrality to it but also has the bright pop of pink and icy blue. Today I also decided to paint back in my beauty marks. I saw someone on Youtube do it and I really love how that came out so I tried it… I might make it a routine for me I really like how it turned out.

Thanks for stopping by dolls. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and I hope that you are in great spirits and health.

Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick. 💄💋
