Ethereal Valentine’s Day Look Week #4 Shop My Stash Makeup Look

Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I’m doing a bit better today. Still pretty high pain day but my energy has improved a bit.

I decided to do the pink monochrome look for today’s look. I love this look so much!

My skin is still a work in progress and my hair is going through this weird transition but this look is still so light and airy and romantic.

For today’s look I used only 1 palette. I also decided to use only the sequin mattes in this palette to give it a sort of ethereal look. The camera didn’t pick up on the glitter in the mattes, instead it just looks like my eyelids are dry, but I assure you they are not, it’s actually a super pretty look in person.

The palette I used for this look is:

Juvia’s Place The Candy Shop Eyeshadow Palette ($$25 for 1.128 oz / 32 g total product making it 0.071 oz / 2 g and $1.38 per pan).

Alright, Let’s jump into today’s walk-through and pictorial of today’s Ethereal Valentine’s Day Look:

*remember as always, all hyperlinks provided are simply for fast location of the products used and not affiliate links… I just did the research so you didn’t have to. all swatched pictures are done on clean bare skin with no primer and in 1 pass to show the true pigmentation of the product*

Eyes and Brows:

I chose to not set my brows today because I wanted my brows to be soft and airy. I filled them in using the Uoma Beauty BROW-FRO Baby Hair ($22 for 0.002 oz / 0.057 g of product at Ulta) in shade #6 (deep brown). I then cleaned the upper part of my brows using the L’oreal Age Perfect Radiant Concealer ($13.99 for 0.23 fl oz / 6.8 ml of product at Ulta) in the shade ivory and the lower part of my brows and lids using the Beauty Creations Color Base Primer ($ for 0.5 fl oz / 15 ml of product on their website) in the shade White Out.

I laid down my transition shade using a fluffy crease brush and the shade Shade #5 is a dusty pale pink – matte pressed pigment.

Using a thinner crease brush and Shade #1 is a pink/coral duochrome pressed pigment I defined the outer 1/3 of my mobile lids and my crease.

Using a bullet shaped crease brush and Shade #15 is a dusty mauve – matte pressed pigment I defined the outer v of the crease.

With a flat shader brush and Shade #11 is an icy white with lilac pin points – metallic I applied it to the inner 2/3 of the mobile lids.

I then thought that the outer v of the crease needed to be softened a little so I took a pencil brush and Shade #10 is a hot pink – matte pressed pigment to add a softer but deeper pink to the outer v.

To blend the inner and outer 1/3 of the mobile lids together I used a flat shader brush and the Shade #14 is a rose with a hot pink reflect – metallic pressed pigment.

For the lower lash lines I used a stiff pencil brush and Shade #10 is a hot pink – matte pressed pigment I created a deep drop shadow and then using Shade #15 is a dusty mauve – matte pressed pigment I deepened the lashline slightly.

I lined the lower water lines using LA Girl Shockwave Lip Liner ($4.49 for 0.04 oz / 1.13 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Pop (neon pink).

I highlighted the inner corners using Smashbox X BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter ($40 for 0.24 oz / 7 g of product at Sephora) in the shade Opal (a neutral, white gold with soft pink pearl) and a pencil brush.

I created micro wings on the upper lash line using the ColourPop Creme Gel Colour (this shade is part of the colour me pretty collection that is out of stock) in the shade Boots (true hot pink).

Complexion:

I primed my face using the Pat Mcgrath Sublime Perfection Hydrating Primer ($45 for 1 fl oz / 30 ml of product). I also tested out the L’Oreal Prime Lab Up to 24H Pore Minimizer ($16.99 for 1 fl oz / 30 ml of product at Ulta) over the cheeks and my chin where my pores are still trying to work themselves out. I contoured using the Makeup Revolution Eye Bright Concealer ($10 for 0.10 fl oz / 2.96 ml of product at Ulta) in the shade warm chestnut (dark skin tones with neutral undertones). For foundation today I tested out the L’oreal True Match Super-Blendable Foundation ($13.99 for 1 fl oz / 30 ml of product) in the shade N1 (neutral light). For cream bronzer I used the Hank and Henry Contour Stick ($25 on their website) in the shade Embrosa. For cream blush I tested the Makeup by Mario Soft Pop Blush Stick ($30 for 0.37 oz / 10.5 g of product at Sephora) in the shade Soft Coral (peachy pop). For cream highlighter I used the MILANI Strobelight Liquid Highlighter ($14.99 for 0.42 fl oz / 12.42 ml of product at Walmart) in the shade afterglow. I color corrected with another testing item, the ELF Camo Color Corrector ($4 for 0.09 fl oz / 2.8 ml of product at Ulta) in peach. I then tested the Dior Backstage Concealer ($29 for 0.37 fl oz / 10.94 ml of product) in the shade 1C (fair to light skin with cool undertones) for my concealer today. I lightly set my under eyes using the Makeup Revolution Loose Baking Powder ($8 for 1.12 oz / 32 g of product at Ulta) in the shade translucent and my face using the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Loose Setting Powder ($6.49 for 0.7 oz / 19.84 g of product at Ulta) in the shade translucent. I touched up my bronzer first testing the Revlon SkinLights Prismatic Bronzer ($13.99 for 0.31 oz / 9 g of product) in the shade #120 Gilded Glimmer, I seriously hated the way it looked on me so I promptly decluttered it (gave it to my niece that loves the cottage core look) and so I topped the powder bronzer with NARS Matte Bronzer ($38 for 0.28 oz / 8 g of product at Sephora) in the shade Samoa (deep golden brown). I topped my blush off with Revlon Powder Blush ($12.89 for 0.17 oz / 5 g of product) in the shade ravishing rose and my highlighter using the Smashbox X BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter ($40 for 0.24 oz / 7 g of product at Sephora) in the shade Opal (a neutral, white gold with soft pink pearl).

Lips, Lashes and Finishings:

I lined my lips with LA Girl Shockwave Lip Liner ($4.49 for 0.04 oz / 1.13 g of product at Ulta) in the shade Fiery (neon red – it’s almost pink it’s so neon.) I then filled in my lips using the Mouth Cloud Soft Matte Lip Cream ($18 for 0.19 oz / 5.5 g of product each on their website) in the shade Invoice Attached (neon hot pink). I did 1 coat of . Flower Beauty Lash Warrior Mascara ($11.99 for 0.35 oz / 9.92 g of product at Ulta) and popped on a pair of Ardell Lash Faux Mink Wispies ($17.99 for a 4 pack at Ulta). I set my face using the MAC Prep + Prime Fix+ Primer and Setting Spray ($31 for the 3.4 fl oz / 100 ml size and $16 for the 1 fl oz / 30 ml size at Ulta) in Creamy Coconut. I did not touch up my face today as I was testing a new foundation and concealer.

Final Thoughts:

I know I created many looks for this week… but this look has me in the mood to do more Valentine’s Day looks. So I think that’s what I may do…

Anyway, thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in great spirits and health.

Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.
