February Week #1 Collective Haul

Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I’m still trying to get over this latest flare. It’s been almost a week and it’s just really zapping me.

I did however get a few items that I purchased in the mail so I figured I’d haul them…

From Ulta:

KVD Beauty Everlasting Hyperlight Vegan Transfer-Proof Liquid Lipstick ($22 for 0.23 fl oz / 6.8 ml of product) comes in 21 shades, I purchased the shade Scorpiris (Indigo Blue – matte) and claims to be an all-day, transfer-proof wear in an evolved formula for hyper-lightweight comfort that is non-drying, feather-resistant, ultra-thin and flexible with an 8 hour wear.

First Impression: I really didn’t get on with the original formula. It was drying and cracked and even though the shades were pretty it was just super uncomfortable. This new formula is amazing, it dries down quickly and doesn’t feel at all as constircting as the original formula did.

KVD Tattoo Pencil Liner Waterproof Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner ($22 for 0.0176 oz / 0.5 g of product) comes in 10 shades and I purchased the shade Azurite Blue (vibrant cobalt) and is billed as an ultra-smooth, transfer-resistant gel pencil eyeliner with the iconic waterproof, all-day wear of KVD Beauty’s bestselling Tattoo Liner. It claims to be fade-resistant and sets fast to lock in place on your lids and in your waterline.

First Impression: Mine came broken, but it’s still usable. I had hoped it would be a great match for the lipstick, but it’s still pretty and creamy and I’ll give it a whirl on my waterlines.

Ulta Beauty Beauty Wedges ($2.99 for the 32 count bag and $6.99 for the 96 count bag) is latex free and can be used dry or wet.

First Impression: I use these just to clean up my nose contour and to quickly apply a bit of cream blush in a hurry. I haven’t tried the Ulta brand before and have never seen any other brand claim that they can be used wet (like a beauty blender), I will have to try this out.

From Sephora:

Makeup by Mario SoftSculpt Shaping Stick ($30 for 0.37 oz/ 10.5 g) comes in 6 shades, I purchased the shade Medium (natural matte finish for light-medium to medium skin tones – warm golden) and is billed as a dual-ended cream shaping stick that is buildable and swipes on seamlessly for true-to-skin definition that dries down to a natural matte finish and as an Allure Best of Beauty award winner.

First Impression: This swatched beautifully! It’s the perfect tone… truly sun kissed and blends perfectly. I can’t wait to try this one.

Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Positive Light Silky Touch Highlighter ($25 for 0.098 oz / 2.8g of product) comes in 4 shades, I chose the shade Exhilarate (champagne gold) is billed as an innovative powder highlighter that gives skin an instant glass-like sheen for an easy, natural-looking glow that lasts.

First Impression: I had seen this highlighter all over the tiktok universe and I stalked it on the Sephora website forever… finally got my hands on it and the swatch did not disappoint! STUNNING.

Charlotte Tilbury Refillable Airbrush Flawless Finish Brightening Powder ($46 for 0.31 oz / 9 g of product) comes in 2 shades, I purchased the shade fair-medium (white) and is billed as a  lightweight, microfine powder to visibly brighten, blur, and lift your eyes and face while setting your makeup for up to 16 hours—with no flashback.

First Impression: It’s as silky smooth as the original one and super brightening. I purchased it as an under eye setting powder only, but I am so happy to have it.

What I purchased with my Sephora Points:

#1 Translucent Loose Setting Powder.

#2 Living Proof Curl Shampoo and Conditioner.

Well dolls… that’s it. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in great spirits and health.

Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick….
