3rd Beauty Haul of July 2020

Published July 10, 2020 by aspooniesmakeupbag

Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. Not feeling the best today have a wicked headache and no energy.

I just received my order from BECCA Cosmetics. So I thought I’d haul it before I test the products out. So let’s get started ….

*Reminder: All swatches are done on bare skin with no primer and in 1 go, The pictures on the left are done without flash and the ones on the right are done with flash*

BECCA Skin Love Weightless Blur Foundation $44 (but on sale for $26.40) on their website for 1.23 fluid ounces of product. It comes in 24 shades with 14 shades for deeper skin tones and I have it in the shade Shell (light beige with neutral undertones). It’s billed as a moisturizing, light weight, medium-coverage foundation with a velvety, natural finish for healthy looking skin that lasts for 24 hours of wear. It claims to have pore-blurring pigments.

What I learned swatching this foundation was that it is that this foundation is hydrating and super pigmented. It’s billed as a medium coverage foundation I would say it’s light full coverage. I left the swatch on for 5 minutes to test if it will oxidize and it did not. It does not set down all the way, however it does set down enough that you can get away without setting it with powder.

BECCA Aqua Luminous Perfecting Concealer $32 (but on sale for $19.20) on their website for .18 fluid ounces of product. It comes in 9 shades with 4 shades for deeper skin and I have it in the shade Porcelain (very fair with slightly pink undertones). It’s billed as a water-infused, crease-proof concealer that delivers weightless light-to-medium coverage that is blurring and has a soft luminosity. It claims to have flexible color pigments that move with your skin for seamless coverage. It claims to never crease, cake, or settle into lines.

What I learned from the swatch is that this is a very light weight concealer with light medium coverage that can be built up to full medium coverage. It’s creamy and has just enough pigment to not be over the top. This is the kind of concealer you can wear on no makeup or low makeup days without it looking strange. I left the swatch on for 5 minutes to test to see if it would oxidize … it does not however it does set down almost all the way so you may not have to set it with powder if you want to keep the luminosity that it has.

BECCA Ever-Matte Shine Proof Foundation (this is a free sample with purchase) full sized will run you $42 on their website for 1.34 fluid ounces of product. It comes in 20 shades with 11 shades for deeper skin tones and I was gifted the shade Cashmere (neutral beige, neutral undertones). It’s billed as a medium coverage foundation that absorbs excess oil and blurs the look of imperfections for a shine-free matte finish.

What I learned from this swatch is that this is a pretty thick foundation. A little goes a long way. It’s a high pigment foundation that is billed as a medium coverage foundation, however I think it looks full coverage from this swatch. I left it on for 5 minutes and it did not oxidize. It does not set down so a setting powder is needed.

BECCA Under Eye Brightening Corrector $32 on their website for .16 ounces of product. It comes in 2 shades (light/medium and medium/deep) I purchased it in the light/medium shade. It’s billed as a full-coverage colour corrector that uses light to brighten dark under eye. It claims to nourish the under eyes and to have backlight technology that is infused with peach and apricot toned color correctors with light-reflecting illuminators that deflect light away from dark circles.

What I learned from this swatch is that this is a super creamy formula and a very little goes a very long way. It’s very brightening and has a great slip to it I left it on for 5 minutes and it did not oxidize, it also did not set down at all (remained as creamy as it was 5 minutes prior).

BECCA Ignite Liquified Light Highlighter (this is a free sample with purchase) full sized will run you $38 on their website for 1.52 fluid ounces of product. It comes in 5 shades and I have it in the shade Passion (pale incandescent pearl that reflects gold). It’s billed as a liquid highlighter for face and body that gives skin an all over pearlized glow that is transfer and water resistant and has multi-dimensional micro-pearls suspended in a crystal-gel formula to give the skin a pearlized glow.

What I learned from this swatch is that a very little goes a very long way. It’s super reflective and very creamy and super pigmented. I left it on for 2 full minutes and the formula dried down fully. I did need a bit of soap to remove it so I do believe the water resistant claim.

BECCA Mineral Blush $32 on their website for .2 ounces of product.

It comes in 7 shades (for this formula) and I purchased it in the shade Song Bird (peachy pink). It’s billed as a mineral blush that is highly pigmented, builds and blends effortlessly to give cheeks a healthy, natural flush.

What I learned from this swatch is that this is an incredibly finely milled blush. It’s super pigmented (this swatch was made with just 1 small swipe of the blush) and super smooth. It’s a satin finished blush that is so pretty!!!

BECCA Sunlit Bronzer $38 on their website for .25 ounces of product

It comes in 5 shades with 3 of those shades being deep enough for deep skin and I purchased the shade Ipanema Sun (medium auburn brown). It’s billed as an ultra-creamy bronzer that builds a warm, sun-kissed glow on any skin with a ultra buttery formula that is buildable and has a neutral under tone.

What I learned from this swatch is that it’s super pigmented and a light hand is best with this product. It’s a satin finish bronzer that is finely milled and super smooth. I love the fact that it’s a red based bronzer instead of the classic orange based bronzers that I have in my collection.

BECCA Hydra-Mist Set & Refresh Powder (this was a free gift with purchase) the full sized will run you $39 on their website for .35 ounces of product. It comes in 2 shades original (a sheer, creamy beige) and golden bronze (a soft, warm tan) I was gifted the original shade. It’s billed as a weightless setting powder that refreshes and cools the skin with all-day moisture and blurs the look of pores and fine lines. It claims to be formulated with 50% water that sets makeup while refreshing and cooling skin on contact with a mist like sensation.

What I learned from this swatch is that this powder is finely milled and super smooth. I didn’t notice and cooling of mist like sensation with this swatch … but perhaps it’s just because it’s such a small swatch.

BECCA Glow Gloss (these were a gift with purchase) $22 for .18 fluid ounces on their website

It comes in 10 shades, of which I was gifted the mini’s of Rose Gold (left – copper rose with soft gold pearl) and Champagne Creme (right – soft gold with high-impact pink & gold pearls). It’s billed as a lip formula with the shine of a gloss, pigment of a liquid lipstick and nourishing benefits of a balm. It claims to be nourishing, conditioning, have plumping peptides, and a high shine finish.

What I learned from this swatch is that these are super creamy lip glosses … not at all sticky. They feel super hydrating and have fine mica pigments in them. They smell like mint and I tested it on my lips to see if it “plumps” like the claims state. It felt cooling on the lips but did not plump my lips.

BECCA Ultimate Lipstick Love $24 on their website for .12 ounces of product.

It comes in 30 shades and I purchased the shade Tulip (warm pinky coral). It’s billed as an instantly moisturizing lipstick for pure colour in one swipe, infused with hyaluronic acid to hydrate. It claims to be long-wearing and packed with pure color pigments in a light reflecting oil that delivers a comfortable 8 hour wear.

What I learned from this swatch is that this is a really creamy and pigmented lipstick. It has the same type of scent that MAC lipsticks have. This is a satin finished product that has got great slip with no stickiness.

And finally …. my last product in this haul is …..

BECCA Lush Lip Colour Balm $22 (on sale for $13.20) on their website for .10 ounces of product.

It comes in 8 shades and I purchased it in the shade Café Au Lait (peachy beige). It’s billed as a hydrating, tinted lip balm that nourishes and smooths with sheer, satiny-soft colour.

What I learned from this swatch is that this is a super emollient lip balm. It’s got more pigment to it than I thought it would have and it’s not sticky at all. It was a beautiful slip to it.

Well…. That’s all for this haul dolls. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in good spirits and health.

I’ll be using almost all of these products in today’s Face of the Day …. stay tuned for my review in Final Thoughts….

Remember …. Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.

XOXO, Nita

A Wonderful Gift From My Niece

Published May 31, 2020 by aspooniesmakeupbag

Hey doll hey!!! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I’m still experiencing a Fibro Flare so I’m still stuck in bed.

Today I received a package in the mail that cheered me up.

My niece from my hubby’s side of the family sent me a present in the mail.

She bought me a Hollywood Lights Makeup Mirror!!!!

This thing is amazing!!! It has 3 color settings: day, evening, and artificial.

It also has a dimmer button to adjust the brightness.

It’s a rechargeable mirror so no more battery waste.

It also came with a 10 x magnifying mirror that can be attached for close work like eye brow plucking.

I am so happy and feel so blessed at this amazing gift.

Well… that’s all for now dolls.

Enjoy the rest of your day/night.

Remember …. Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.

Quick Beauty Haul 7th May 2020 Haul

Published May 30, 2020 by aspooniesmakeupbag

I repurchased some of my Good molecules serums and toner … I accidentally purchased 2 Super Peptide Serums but that’s ok … back ups are a good thing.

This palette was sent to me by the company (after reaching out to me on Twitter) to review …. I will be reviewing it within the next couple of weeks.

The palette is called EY-322 16 color Eyeshadow Palette and runs for $14.

The shades from left to right are: Slow (vanilla metallic), Flip (vanilla matte), Steam (muted brown matte), Noir (dusty black matte), Glamour (tan matte), Diva (copper metallic), Splash (moss green satin), Trance (light blue satin), Sultry (rose gold metallic), Culture (dusty red matte), Awesome (navy blue satin), Curtain (iridescent satin with a green/purple flip),Cross (chocolate metallic), Nolly (burnt orange matte), Stylin’ (vibrant fuschia metallic), and Mud (deep burgundy matte).

The shadows were swatched on a bare arm with no primer and in 1 pass.

The shadows are pretty pigmented (and hard to remove … I needed to use soap and water to remove it all). The mattes are finely milled and did not have any kickback, the metallics are drier but very pigmented, and the satins are buttery and mid-toned pigmentation.

Well that’s all dolls.

Have a great rest of your day/night and remember … Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.

New JKissa and ELF Collaboration Haul

Published May 26, 2020 by aspooniesmakeupbag

Hey doll hey!!! Just popping in with a quick haul update.

I just purchased 2 of the 3 things from the Jkissa x ELF limited edition collection!!! (Available for ELF Squad members as of May 25th and for everyone else as of May 27th 2020).

I was going to wait until it arrived but I so excited that I just had to share with you what I just purchased… swatches to come upon arrival of my purchase.

This palette is my spirit animal!!! I can’t wait to start playing with this little baby!!!!

This 6 piece brush set is vegan and cruelty free. ELF brushes are one of my favorite affordable brushes on the market and it doesn’t hurt that they are so stinking cute!!!

There is a Gold dual ended gold eye glitter thing as the 3rd component to this collection, but I really do not like glitter so I opted not to purchase it.

Well that’s it for now dolls. Hope you have a great rest of your day/night.

Remember…. Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick 💄.

6th Beauty Haul and Swatches of May 2020

Published May 25, 2020 by aspooniesmakeupbag
I placed an order on the Ulta app for pick up today

Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I didn’t sleep well last night, I went to sleep around 5 AM and then was awoken to blinding white hot pain in both of my legs and a really bad charlie horse in my right calf muscle. It’s also raining here in Florida so my body is attacking me right now with pain. This is the reason I haven’t done a Face of the Day post today, and as for yesterday we spent most of the day rearranging the bedroom (see my last post for my new makeup nook set up) and then I spent the rest of the day getting all my makeup cataloged and swatched for my new blog series about all of my makeup. To cheer me up since I’m so bummed about the amount of pain I’m in hubby surprised me with extra makeup money … so I did a little shopping today…. Let’s jump into this haul and swatches shall we?

*NOTE: All swatches are done on bare skin with no primer and in 1 pass and with the flash on as I was taking pictures from my bedroom today*

bareMinerals barePro Glow Bronzer $29 for .47 fluid ounces in the shade Warmth (terracotta bronze best for medium to deep skin tones). This products bills as being a versatile liquid bronzer that provides sheer, natural-looking color that lasts up to 16 hours and having a bi-phase formula with light-reflecting mineral pearls that provides sheer, natural-looking color that flatters any skin tone.

It also says that there are 4 ways to use this product: #1. For focused bronze: Using your ring finger, dot barePro Glow Bronzer in a half-moon shape from cheekbones to brow bones. Blend in with a dense face brush of your choice. Layer for a more intense bronze glow. #2. For all-over bonze: Mix 1 pump of barePro Glow Bronzer with 1 pump of your foundation and blend with your fingers. #3. For a sun-kissed, no-makeup look: Mix 1 pump of barePro Glow Bronzer with your favorite skincare products or tinted moisturizer. and #4. For a subtle body bronzer: Mix 1 pump of BAREPRO GLOW BRONZER with your body lotion.

This bronzer comes in 2 shades Faux Tan (sun-kissed bronze best for fair to medium skin tones) and Warmth (terracotta bronze best for medium to deep skin tones).

What I noticed straight away from pumping 1 drop on the back of my hand is that this bronzer is incredibly liquidy. After blending it in I did feel that it was extremely sheer… I’m not sure that I ‘m going to like this bronzer … but I wanted to try it out because Jessica Braun from YouTube recommended it so I thought I’d give it a go.

Juvia’s Place I Am Magic Foundation $20 for 1 fluid ounce (but on sale for $14 at Ulta and on the Juvia’s Place website). It’s billed as offering a smooth application with a natural and soft matte finish to give a flawless coverage with long lasting all day wear. It comes in 42 shades on the Juvia’s Place website (half of the shades are for deeper skin and the other half are for mid to fair skin tones) and is offered in 35 shades at Ulta with half the shade beign for deeper skin and the other half for mid to fair skin tones. I am in the shade 650 Alexandria (light skin with neutral undertones).

What I have learned about this foundation from swatching it is that this is a very full coverage foundation. I squeezed out about a dime sized amount to create this swatch and it covered the full back on my hand and I could have spread it further. It seemed to be a demi-matte formula.

Juvia’s Place I Am Magic Concealer $14 for .34 fluid ounces (but on sale for $8.90 at Ulta and on the Juvia’s Place website for $11) and is billed as being full coverage and bendable with just one application adn that it evens and blurs out skin imperfections. Infused with Amino Acid treated pigments, to help increase intensity of color without a heavy after feel. It comes in 24 shades on both the Ulta website and the Juvia’s Place website… half of which are for deeper skin and the other half for mid to fair tones.

From swatching this concealer I can tell you it’s very full coverage…. a little goes a long LONG way… this is a very pigmented concealer…. and it is a satin/matte hybrid.

Juvia’s Place Shade Stick Foundation $16 for .34 ounces (on sale at Ulta for $11.20 and Juvia’s Place website for $12) and is billed as a full coverage natural, multipurpose long lasting foundation stick that is full coverage and a weightless multipurpose formula that glides on seamlessly to cover imperfections, while giving full definition to face. It comes in 30 shades (10 for deeper skin, 10 for mid tone skin, and 10 for fair to light skin). I chose the shade Guinea (for dark skin with neutral cool undertones). I chose this shade because I thought it would make a great cream bronzer.

What I have learned from this swatch is that this is a drier formula that is still creamy, it’s just not OVERLY CREAMY and it blends out with the fingers wonderfully.

Juvia’s Place The Tribe Highlighter Vol. 3 $12 for .31 ounces of product (on sale at Ulta for $8.40) and is billed as a beautiful bronzed shade that creates effortless luminosity. Highly pigmented mix of beautiful champagne pearls perfect for light skin tones.

From my swatch I noticed there is no bronze to this highlighter… it’s just a champagne highlighter with a white shift, but with that said it’s stunning! there is no glitter in this highlighter at all … I did notice when trying to remove the swatch that this sucker is either water proof or it’s just so pigmented that it’s a hard to remove product. Either way I’m excited to see how this looks on the face.

Juvia’s Place The Warrior III Palette $20 for .63 ounces of product (on sale for $14 at Ulta but currently sold out … you can still find this palette on the Juvia’s Place website for $20 (on sale right now for $12). This palette was inspired by the tenacity, courage and strength of female leaders around the world. It has 7 mattes and 2 metallics.

The shades are:

Maasia (a vibrant grass green matte), Nzinga (a vibrant true canary yellow matte), Kahina (a berry pink matte), Jarawa (a coral matte), Candace (a vibrant true purple matte), Fanti (a bright blue toned bubblegum pink matte), Kongo (a light sea blue metallic), Karama (a steel blue metallic), and Gola (a vibrant sky blue matte).

The mattes are hard pressed but finely milled and there was very little fallout whilst swatching them. The metallics are on the drier side of a metallic formula but were very pigmented and very creamy when swatched.

Juvia’s Place The Nubian II Eyeshadow Palette $20 for 1.58 ounces of product (on sale for $14 at Ulta and $14 on the Juvia’s Place website). This palette was inspired by Nefertiti, a beauty icon known for her outstanding beauty, strength and spirituality. There are 4 metallic shades, 4 shimmer shades, and 4 matte shades.

The shades are: Morocco (dark orange matte), Madagascar (beige matte), Sheba (fawn metallic), Yaa (auburn metallic), Jezebel (maroon matte), Zuri (ivory shimmer), Cleopatra (royal blue shimmer), Nefertiti (18k gold shimmer), Nairobi (yellow gold metallic), Leyla (royal eggplant shimmer), Kenya (chocolate brown matte) and Egypt (royal green metallic).

The mattes are hard pressed but finely milled and there was very little fallout whilst swatching them. The metallics are on the drier side of a metallic formula but were very pigmented and very creamy when swatched. The shimmer shades are so buttery and so smooth and they preform as if they were metallics, they are super shinny and bright.

Well dolls…. that’s all for now. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in good spirits and health.

Remember dolls… Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.

4th Beauty Haul of May 2020 and Swatches

Published May 13, 2020 by aspooniesmakeupbag

Hey doll hey!! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I’m coming to you with another beauty haul …. this one is just 2 items but I feel like if I don’t haul my items at the time that I receive them I will forget to haul them. So let’s get started…..

* Note that all swatches are done on bare skin with no primer and in 1 swipe *

Flawless Beauty Fridge by Finishing Touch $60 at Ulta and Amazon , I purchased mine through Amazon. I really wanted the Facetory Coral Beauty Fridge but I didn’t want to pay the extra $40 for it so I settled for this one. It’s super cute, very compact, and gets super cold. It’s too small to fit 1 of my skin care items (my essence) but fits all of my serums, my toner, and all of my creams. It is super quiet and doesn’t pull too much on the electric.

Juvia’s Place Nubian 3 Coral Palette $20 at Ulta and the Juvia’s Place website .                         This is such a beautiful palette! I love a good coral shade and Juvia’s Place has done coral right. There are no shade names in the palette.

The photo on the left is without flash and the one on the right is with flash. The shades are : a light toned silver metallic, a deep slate grey matte, a slate grey metallic, a mid-toned copper metallic….

The photo on the left is without flash and the one on the right is with flash. The shades are :  a mid-toned deep reddish terracotta metallic, a warm toned deep brown matte, deep brown with a slight green shift metallic, dusty coral tan matte….

The photo on the left is without flash and the one on the right is with flash. The shades are : cool toned coral matte/satin hybrid, dusty light grey matte, peachy coral metallic with a slight gold flip metallic, and finally a deep-toned peachy coral matte.

I used this palette for today’s eye look and I must say the formula is to die for. The matte shadows are finely milled but pressed hard in the pans so there was no kick back at all. The metallic shadows are buttery and creamy and there was no kick back in the pans for these either. The shadows did not skin or go patchy over my sticky primer and they shadows buffed into one another with out going muddy. There was no fall out on the face with either the mattes or the metallics either. This palette is truly a beautiful palette for the summer months.

I accidentally purchased this palette on Juvia’s Place website as well so I will be gifting that extra palette to my God Daughter when I receive it.

Well, that’s all for now dolls. Thanks for stopping by… Remember …. Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.

3rd Beauty Haul of May 2020 With Swatches

Published May 9, 2020 by aspooniesmakeupbag

Hey doll hey!!! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I just received part of my makeup purchases, a few from the Tart website and a few from Ulta’s website …. I used a few of the items today …. let’s jump into it ….

* NOTE: All swatches are done with no primer on bare skin and in 1 swipe.

NYX Wonder Stick $12 for .28 ounces of product at Ulta and is billed as a dual-ended highlighter and contouring stick. With its creamy finish, the Wonder Stick conceals, highlights and contours with ease for a naturally sculpted look. It comes in 4 shades (6 shades on the NYX website), at Ulta there is 1 shade for light, medium, deep, and universal…. on the NYX website there actually is 2 shades for deep skin. I don’t consider this a contour stick. I purchased the shade Medium and upon swatching it the contour shade seems to be the wrong undertone for contour … but it’s a nice shade for bronzing. The stick formula is very creamy and sets fairly well.

The picture on the left is without flash and the one on the right is with flash. This is with 1 pass of the stick. I can tell this is a pretty pigmented product.

The picture on the left is without flash and the one on the right is with flash. It didn’t take much to blend both these shades out. The highlight shade seems to be a tiny bit too light for my liking but I’ll give it a try anyway to see how I like it.

Juvia’s Place The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette $12 at Ulta and is billed as a a sleek and beautiful hand picked nude and rich brown palette that can be used to create stunning eye looks. In true Juvia’s Place fashion… these shadows do not have names. It has 2 mattes, 1 pressed pigment, and 3 metallics.

The picture on the left is without flash and the one on the right is with flash. From left to right the shades are a : A PEACHY CHAMPAGNE WITH SILVER FLIP- METALLIC, A LIGHT BEIGE- MATTE PRESSED PIGMENT, A CHAMPAGNE WITH GOLD FLIP- METALLIC, A LIGHT ROSE- MATTE, A PINK CHAMPAGNE- METALLIC, AND A RICH  TERRACOTTA BROWN- MATTE.

These shadows are just a good as the first Juvia’s Place palette I purchased. Super pigmented and easy to blend.

ColourPop She’s Got Solstice Eyeshadow Palette (An Ulta Exclusive) $14 at Ulta and it’s billed as having  fresh, wearable shades that are your perfect transition into spring and add a fun pop to your looks all year. This palette has 5 mattes, 3 metallics, and 1 ultra metallic.

The picture on the left is without flash and the one on the right is with flash. From left to right the shades are: So Sirius: multi-dimensional gold- metallic, Big Bang: pale baby pink- matte, Quasar: coral terracotta- matte, Nova: nude clay- matte, and Estrella: pink coral with a gold flip- metallic.

Super Stardust: mid-tone bronzey gold- ultra metallic, Marz: icy moss with a silver flip- metallic, Earth Angel: pinky coral- matte, and Chromosphere: deep red brown- matte.

Tarte Sugar Rush Beach Cheeks Cream Blush $15 on their website and is billed as a gorgeous, natural flush with a quick swipe of your fingertips and is made with shea butter, mango seed butter & avocado oil which leaves skin super soft. It comes in 2 shades… the one i chose is Beaches & Cream (a peachy pink) and the other shade they sell is called Ocean Girl (rosey pink). I did find that there was a learning curve with this one. I had to build it up 3 layers to get suitable color payoff. At the end of my makeup application I added just 1 more light layer over top of my setting powder and it did not go patchy.

The picture on the left is without flash and the one on the right is with flash. This is just 1 layer of the product. The way I do my makeup when I’m using cream products is that I apply my cream blush before my concealer so that I can blend the lines together… with this product I noticed that I needed to go back into the blush several times to build the color back up as well as top the cheeks off 1 more time after powdering because the powder muted the blush shade.

Tarte Breezy Cream Bronzer ($29 on the Tarte website) and the Breezy Blender Brush ($29 on the Tarte website) the bronzer shade I chose is Grace Bay (deep matte bronze). This bronzer comes in 3 shade selections matte, deep matte, and rich matte which corresponds to light, medium, and deep. The brush made it super easy to apply this product. It’s the right thickness and the perfect shade to get a perfectly contoured face.

The picture on the left is without flash and the one on the right is with flash. This is the perfect undertone for that just sun kissed glow. It’s creamy without being greasy and with the corresponding brush blends in seamlessly.

Well that’s all for today’s post dolls. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in good health and spirits.

Remember dolls … Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.

Hey doll hey!!! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. Just popping in with another quick beauty haul …. this time it’s all skin care items that I purchased on the Beautylish  website. So let’s get started ….

20200506_174124

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand in the shade Medium/Dark $38 for .41 fluid ounces of product: This product is billed as lightweight, easy to blend and buildable. This is a repurchase…. I have one already open (the item on the left is the open one). I can not stop using this cream contour! It’s just perfection. I only use 1 squeeze to contour my full face … that covers my temples and center of the forehead area, jaw line, hollows of my cheeks, cupid’s bow, and nose and I still have product enough left to do my face the next day… It’s a small amount of product, but a little goes a long way. It never goes muddy or patchy and it blends in so seamlessly. I never liked cream products until I tried this one… now I want to explore all things cream related.

Good Molecules Pineapple Exfoliating Powder $16 for 2 ounces and is billed as being able to gently exfoliate away dead skin and dullness with this fruit enzymes that gently resurfaces, smooths, and brightens without irritation. This is a new product for Good Molecules and is a water activated product. Pineapple enzymes contain bromelain ( protein-digesting enzyme mixture derived from the stem, fruit, and juice of the pineapple plant). It also contains anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial benefits, Vitamin C&E which brighten and even out skin tone… it has also been known to clear up blackheads…..  I’ve not tried a fruit exfoliator before so am looking forward to trying it.

Good Molecules Niacinamide Serum  $6 for 1 fluid ounce. This is billed as a lightweight serum that helps to refine skin tone and texture for a brighter, healthier-looking complexion.  Niacinamide is one of two major forms of vitamin B3 and is good for minimizing the appearance of pores and uneven tone and texture and also helps to strengthen the skin’s barrier function and reduce moisture loss for a healthy, hydrated complexion. This will be the first time I use this serum… however I have been using their Niacinamide Brightening Toner  for the better part of a month now and I love how my skin looks. I can’t wait to try this serum tonight!!

Good Molecules Super Peptide Serum $12 for 1 fluid ounce and is billed as being able to target fine lines, wrinkles, and dullness, targeting multiple signs of aging at once having a specially formulated blend of peptides (smaller versions of proteins, such as collagen, elastin and keratin,  and amino acids) and copper tri-peptides (which aid in collagen production which aid in skin’s  firmness, elasticity and plumpness) which helps to hydrate, brighten, and smooth for a healthy, youthful-looking glow. This is my second bottle … I have 1 open now that I’ve been using for the better part of month now and my skin is visibly changed already! It typically takes 6 to 10 weeks to see improvement with any skin care item however in as little as 2 weeks I was already seeing a visible difference! I definitely recommend this product.

20200506_173842

Good Molecules Hyaluronic Acid Serum $6 for 1 fluid ounce and is billed as a lightweight hyaluronic acid serum that draws moisture into the skin for deep hydration, a water-light serum draws moisture to the skin for long-lasting hydration. With just one use, skin appears smooth, supple, and well-hydrated. Hyaluronic Acid Hyaluronic acid binds to moisture and draws it into the skin to maintain a healthy moisture balance and protect from dehydration. Again this is my second bottle … I have 1 open now that I’ve been using for the better part of month now and my skin has never been this supple and hydrated… I use to have seriously dry eye lids, brow bone, and chin and since using this just the first day I had already begun to see hydration in my skin. This serum is amazing. I even use what’s left of the serum on my fingers across my lips and have seen improvement in my lips dryness as well. The Hyaluronic Acid is 4th from the bottom so it’s not that high of a concentration … but even with that it still works amazingly.

20200506_173831

HoliFrog Superior Omega Niritiive Gel Wash  $36 for 5 fluid ounces of product and is billed as a universal, all-purpose wash that lightly foams to deeply clean, nourish, and replenish all skin types that comes loaded with omega fatty acids, probiotics, and antioxidants to nourish and replenish skin as it cleanses away makeup, debris, and pollutants. Designed for everyday use with natural antibacterial properties to prevent breakouts and clogs. This is my 2nd bottle, I currently have a bottle open on my skin… this has plenty of key ingredients that is a plus, albeit this doesn’t really matter because face wash doesn’t stay on the skin long enough to reap the benefits of these ingredients, and this face wash isn’t drying to the face and is gentle enough for the delicate eye area.  I’ve been using it for the better part of a month as my 2nd cleanse in my skin care routine. You only need 2 to 3 pumps to cleanse your face with and it foams up nicely.

Well… That’s all for now dolls. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night.

Remember … Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.

XOXO
