Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope.

I’m back with Vol. 7 of my Makeup Collection Series … the rest of the series can be found:

Vol 1. The Primers

Vol 2. The Foundations Part 1

Vol. 2 The Foundations Part 2

Vol. 3 The Concealers

Vol. 5 The Bronzers

Vol. 6 The Blushes

Today we’re diving into my highlighter collection … Let’s do this…

RachhLoves x Pixi The Layers Highlighting Palette $24 for 3 @ .09 ounces and 3 @ 27 ounces of product their website.(also sold at Target).

This one is billed as layering highlight for that perfect custom glow is just like layering an outfit – you build a look that’s uniquely you! Bring out your natural beauty and enliven your complexion, lids and cheeks with this multi-use glow-mix palette with a silky soft formula for the ultimate face glow, and lid hues enhance & add luminosity.

I love playing around with a combos of this palette. The highlight is endless with this one. I have mixed and matched every color combo under the sun with this one and I’m so happy to have it in my collection.

There is 1 shade that has a different texture to the rest – Knit is metallic but it feels smooth almost melted in formula…. it’s bizarre in a great way.

The shades from left to right (2nd picture) are: Lace, Zipper, Knit, Tee, and Clutch.

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Beauty Light Wand $38 for .40 ounces of product on the Beautylish website (also sold at Sephora… also has 2 more shades than Beautylish) in the shade Spotlight (rose gold with silver reflect).

This one is billed as being able to enhance the skin’s luminosity for a high-gloss highlight that plays with the light and stays dewy all day. Velvety silica has magical, soft-focusing powers, and sensorial oil gives skin a silky-soft feel. Lindera extract magically mimics the effects of light for a youthful glow.

I had tried cream highlighters in the past and always hated the way they seemed to just sit on the surface of the skin, or how greasy they seem to make my face look.

I purchased this one to do a full face of Charlotte Tilbury and didn’t use it in that post…. I was worried about it … but I tried it a few days after and I haven’t stopped using it since!

I love this product so much … It is my favorite highlighter in my collection.

It’s high glow without looking greasy or like a disco ball. It melts into the skin for a seamless lit from within lilt.

I would say out of all the products I purchased from Charlotte Tilbury …. This is my all time favorite product.

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Glowgasm Beauty Light Wand $38 for .41 ounces of product at Sephora (also available on the Beautylish website). It comes in 3 shades: Peachgasm (peach highlight), Pinkgasm (pink highlight), and Goldgasm (gold highlight) and I have it in Goldgasm.

This one is also billed as being able to enhance the skin’s luminosity for a high-gloss highlight that plays with the light and stays dewy all day. Velvety silica has magical, soft-focusing powers, and sensorial oil gives skin a silky-soft feel. Lindera extract magically mimics the effects of light for a youthful glow.

This one, on me, is more subtle than the my Hollywood Beauty Wand in Spotlight. I swatched it heavy so you can see just how well it builds up but when I use it I do it in light dots to just enhance the high points of my face. When I want the glow to have a bit more dimension I always just go in with either a bit of powder highlighter or I go in with a bit of Spotlight to finish the look off.

Benefit Powder Boxed Highlighter $30 for.28 ounces of product at Ulta and Sephora and I have it in the shade Cookie (a golden pearl).

This one is billed as being a gorgeous glow is just a sweep away.

This is just the prettiest, creamiest, gleam of a highlighter ever. This one is light enough for fair skin and complex enough for deeper skin tones.

I purchased a back up of this highlighter just so that I wouldn’t ever be without it.

With a light hand it gives this other worldly glow to the skin, layered over a cream highlighter it just takes it to another dimension, and with a heavier hand it really pops with out looking like a disco ball.

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Highlight Face Powder $36 for .35 ounces of product at Ulta and it comes in 3 shades Global Glow (neutral tan with silver sheen), Soft & Gentle (gilded peach bronze), and Gold Deposit (soft reflective golden bronze) and I have it in the shade Soft & Gentle.

This one is billed as a luxurious, slow-baked, velvety soft, domed face powder with a radiant finish.

I purchased this one around 4 years ago when I saw a YouTuber using it in a video and have loved it ever since.

It’s a buttery powder highlighter that just shines so vibrant but can also give a subtle ethereal glow to the face as well.

J Cat Beauty You Glow Girl Baked Highlighter $8.99 for .3 ounces of product at Ulta and I have it in the shade Twilight (a coppery gold).

This one is billed as a multi-dimensional baked formula in the You Glow Girl Baked Highlighter brings instant glow all day long due to high intense shimmer pigment. It is designed to complement all skin tones and all skin types. The smooth texture blends effortlessly and gives the perfect luminous finish that complete your look.

This is a pretty reflective highlighter… I have tried to go in with a light touch and still I get high pigment, high shine payout. For being a baked product it’s super buttery to the touch.

Makeup Revolution Highlight Reloaded $7 for .35 ounces of product at Ulta and it comes in 6 shades and I have it in the shade Dare to Divulge (rose gold).

This one is billed as the ultimate glow-up that is  intensely pigmented and will instantly brighten your complexion with a high-impact finish and super-flattering shimmer, this silky formula glides onto cheekbones seamlessly and just add to the bridge of the nose and illuminate the inner corners of the eyes for an all over glow. For an intense, foil-like finish use with a damp brush or one of our Fixing Sprays.

I just love the whole Reloaded line from this brand. You get high quality products at drug store prices. This is a beautiful highlighter with no glitter in it.

Milani Strobelight Instant Glow Powder $9.99 for .3 ounces of product at Ulta and comes in 2 shade Afterglow (an icy pink) and Sunglow (an icy champagne).

This one is billed as making strobing and highlighting easy for beauty novices to experts alike. Light-reflecting pearls create a radiant finish that define your features with a healthy, warm glow.

It’s a nice highlighter … not my favorite or even in my top 5 but I like it and I do reach for it from time to time.

Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder Compact $44 for .26 ounces of product at Sephora in the shade Highlight 01 (golden nude)… this also comes in 3 bronze shades.

This one is billed as an  ultrasmooth baked face powder that provides natural color with soft matte radiance with an ultralightweight formula that feels weightless on skin and applies smoothly and blends effortlessly. The smooth, silky, velvety texture feels comfortable, while the long-wearing formula lasts up to eight hours and stays color-true without oxidizing for an even wear. Each tile is hand-mixed with a unique design.

This was the first powder product I purchased from this brand and it sparked my love for all things Laura Mercier.

This is the most subtle highlighter I have ever had in my collection. It’s my go to everyday light wash of something glowy highlighter.

Jouer Powder Highlighter $24 for .16 ounces of product at Sephora and it comes in 8 shades, the one I have is Citrine (shimmering gold).

This one is billed as a long-wear, highly pigmented, powder highlighter with ultra-fine pearls and luminescent pigments to create a lit-from-within glow.

I purchased this one back when this shade was all the rage. I didn’t like it when I first got it, but as I started to venture out of my comfort zone with how glowy I liked my highlight to be, I learned to really like this one and as I curated my collection I have reached for it more and more.

ColourPop Super Shock Highlighter $8 for .15 ounces of product at Ulta and comes in 8 shades, I have the shade Wisp (golden champagne with a gold reflect and a penalized finish).

This one is billed as a long-wearing crème powder cheek formula that is extremely buildable and blends smoothly to leave the cheeks looking healthy with a formula that has a bouncy texture that creates the ultimate glow and is buildable, blendable, and so buttery soft.

I didn’t like this at first (too glittery and shiny) until I dipped my toe into the world of creme products … now I absolutely love this highlighter.

ColourPop Super Shock Highlighter *discontinued was limited edition Disney Designer Collection* In the shade A Smile and a Song (gilded champagne).

I love this shade so much! I also love that it’s Disney inspired!!!

This is a very complex highlighter … there are multi levels to it’s shine and glow.

Wet n Wild Megaglo Highlighting Powder $5.99 for .19 ounces of product at Ulta an it comes in 4 shades and I have it in the shade Precious Petals (pinky champagne).

This one is billed as their #1 highlighting powder is here to stay! Its ultra-pearly finish and easy-to-blend formula make it a fan favorite! The silky smooth, highly-pigmented powder gives an all over glow when applied to the cheek bones, brow bone, and cupid’s bow.

BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector $38 for .25 ounces of product at Ulta and Sephora comes in 9 shades and I have it in Champagne Pop (soft gold with peachy pink reflect).

This one is billed as their award-winning highlighter with an ultra-creamy formula that melts into skin for a natural, luminous glow with a unique formula fuses ultra-fine, pearl pigments with liquid for an ultra-buttery texture. The creamy formula builds and blends seamlessly, without ever looking glittery or chalky. The creamy formula refracts pure light from every angle for the most natural, luminous glow.

This is the highlighter that launched Jaclyn Hills makeup stardom. I have to admit I only purchased it because everyone else was and it was every where on social media … but dolls I am super happy that I did… this one is amazingly beautiful!

Makeup Geek Highlighter (there are 5 shades available on their site for $9.99) I have it in a discontinued shade called Midnight Sun (a golden champagne)

This is billed as a highlighter formula that is super-smooth and incredibly pigmented. It provides a reflective luminosity that ranges from subtle to extreme.

I really like this one but I hardly ever reach for it…. I think I should move it to my vanity to remind me to reach for it more.

Essence Pure Nude Highlighter $4.99 for .23 ounces of product at Ulta in the shade 01 Be My Highlight.

This one is billed as adding natural luminescence to cheeks, temples, and brow bone for a gorgeous glow. The baked formula applies smoothly while the light texture blends easily for a natural finish.

This one is a spot on dupe for the Laura Mercie Radiance Baked Powder, I mean a complete SPOT ON DUPE!!!

There is a reason this one is in everyone’s top 5 products … it’s a great everyday, every occasion highlighter.

Too Faced Born This Way Turn Up The Light Highlighting Palette $42 at Ulta and Sephora and comes in 4 color ways : Light, Medium, Tan, and Deep. I have it in the Light colorway (but I think I could also use the Medium one too).

This one is billed as a 3-finish baked highlighting palette  that adds dimension, lift, and luminosity with this complexion-enhancing highlighting palette created to bring out the inner radiance in every skin tone. This baked trio diffuses and refracts light for a perfectly-lit complexion anywhere you go.

When I first purchased this one I didn’t get it. I hated the dazzle shade, thought the soft focus shade was a waste of product, and only gravitated toward the glow shade …. until that is I finely tried the soft focus as a finishing powder and the dazzle shade as a shadow topper and inner corner highlight.

I truly love this palette now. The right picture shows Glow, Soft Focus, and Dazzle.

Juvia’s Place The Tribe Highlighter Vol. 3 $12 for .31 ounces of product at Ulta and on the Juvia’s Place website. This is a champagne colored highlighter.

This one is billed as a beautiful bronzed shade that creates effortless luminosity. Highly pigmented mix of beautiful champagne pearls perfect for light skin tones.

This is my newest acquisition to my collection. It is super reflective and absolutely glamorous!

This is the type of highlighter that will work with any skin tone for a perfect pop of shine.

Well that’s it dolls. Hope you enjoy the rest of the day/night and that you are in good spirits and good health.

Remember … Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.
