Smokey Purple Face of the Day

Hey doll hey!!! How’s your day/night going? Mine’s OK. I went to bed pretty late last night… Around 3:30 AM because I was up making face masks from my hubby’s whole crew at work. The CEO of his company has issued a mandatory mask rule…. these are the masks I made ….

2 9″x7″ pieces of 100% cotton and 2 7″ pieces of 1/4″ elastic.  2 pleats in the middle and Bob’s your uncle. I made 15 and am making 10 more tonight.

Today I am wearing Marc Jacobs Daisy Twinkle perfume …. Let’s jump into today’s Face of the Day ….

Eyes:                                                                                                                                                         I primed my lids using P.Louise Base ($10 pound sterling/ $12.08 USD on their website… can also be found on the Morphie website for $15) in the shade Rumour 0.5 and today I chose not to set the base. For today’s eye look I used the ColourPop It’s My Pleasure Palette ($12 on their website) and the Lilac You A Lot Palette ($12 on their website). I started with the Lilac You A Lot palette and the shade Imagine That (pastel lavender matte) and I placed that all over my lids from lash to brow bone. On the mobile lid I first started with the shade Fluff (icy violet with gold and silver pin points metallic) and then I layered the shade Do Or Dough (bright lavender with blue duo chrome flip metallic) from the It’s My Pleasure palette over top of that and then I went back in with the more of the shade Fluffy an patted that over the inner 1/3 of the mobile lid. I deepened the outer v and outer 1/3 of the mobile lid using the shade using the shade Sleeper (eggplant matte) from the It’s My Pleasure palette. On the lower lash line I created a drop shadow using more of the shade Imagine That and then I deepened the lash line with more of Sleeper. I then went over the whole lash line using more of the shade Do or Dough for added depth. I highlighted the inner corners using the shade Zipper (pastel lilac) from the Rachh Loves X Pixi The Layers Highlighting Palette ($24 at Target). I lined my lower waterlines using ColourPop Lippie Pencil (only available in the Big Box of Lippie Stix Vault on their website) in the shade TBH (deep violet). I set my brows using the soap brow method and then filled in my brows using ELF Lock On Liner & Brow Cream ($4 on their website) in the shade Medium Brown. I carved out my brow line using the BH Studio Pro Brow Highlighter ($5 on their website) on the matte side and set the brow line using L’Oreal 24-HR Infallible Eyeshadow ($7.99 at Walmart) in the shade 899 Endless Pearl (a creamy vanilla matte) and then went over that with Wet N Wild Color Icon Single Shadow ($.99 at Walgreens) in the shade Sugar (icy white pearl). I popped on a paid of Kiss Looks So Natural Lashes ($11.99 for a 2 pack at Ulta) in the style Flirty and then I coated my upper and lower lashes with L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara ($8.99 at Ulta).

Cheeks and Lips:                                                                                                                               For blush tonight I chose Revolution Beauty Blusher Reloaded ($7 at Ulta) in the shade Rhubarb & Custard (light coral matte). I highlighted my Cupid’s Bow, tops of the cheeks, center of the chin, bridge of the nose, and high points of the brows using the Rachh Loves X Pixi The Layers Highlighting Palette ($24 at Target) in the shade Clutch (Light Champagne). I lined my lips using ColourPop Lippie Pencil (only available in their Lippie Pencil Vault on their website) in the shade V Cute ( bright violet) and topped off my lips using ColourPop Lippie Stix (only available in their Lippie Stix Vault on their website) in the shade Heart On (bright cool-toned magenta matte).

Final Thoughts:                                                                                                                                      I have been playing around with skin care things this past few weeks … I started using Rice Water as a toner and now I’ve incorporated  homemade rice powder  as an exfoliating step and a homemade 2-Ingredient Purifying Face Mask  and I also use the homemade skin brightening mask.

Well that’s all for now dolls. Hope you are in good health and spirits and that you have a great rest of your day/night. Remember …. Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.

XOXO
