Hey doll hey!!! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I’m doing pretty good today. Higher energy level today and my pain level is around a 6.
I really wanted to get full on glammed out today. It is the last day with my last shop my stash box so I wanted to do 1 more look with the ColourPop Garden Variety Palette … since I had used corals in a look already this week I chose to use the neutrals to do the glam look today.
I’m not wearing any perfume today because I wanted to just smell like my favorite body wash only …. Bath and Body Works Vanilla Bean Noel.
Let’s jump into today’s walk through of the Face of the Day ….

Base:
I primed my face using I Heart Revolution Coconut Dream Hydrating Primer ($8 at Ulta) and primed my pores using Tarte Timeless Smoothing Primer ($39 at Ulta). I added a tough of glow using Pixi by Petra Flawless Beauty Primer ($22 at Target and on the Pixi website) to the high points of the face. I contoured my face using Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand ($38 at Sephora) in the shade Medium Dark. For foundation today I used Juvia’s Place I Am Magic Velvety Matte Foundation ($20 on their website and at Ulta) in the shade #650 Alexandria. I bronzed my face using bareMinerals barePro Glow ($29 at Ulta) in the shade Warmth. I color corrected my under eyes using Pixi by Petra Correction Concentrate ($12 at Target) in Brightening Peach. For concealer today I am using AOA Paw Paw Liquid Concealer ($1.55 on the Shop Miss A website) in the shade Light Ivory. I highlighted the high points of my face using the ELF Jelly Highlighter ($6 on their website) in the shade Dew (gold). I set my under eyes using the Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder ($28 at Ulta and Sephora). I set the rest of my face using ELF Halo Glow Setting Powder ($8 on their website) in the color Light. I touched up the bronzer on my face using the HourGlass Ambient Lighting Bronzer ($52 at Sephora) in the shade Radiant Bronze Light. For touch ups I am using MAC Mineralize Skinfinish ($36 at Ulta) in the shade Medium Golden.

Eyes:
I set my brows using Believe Beauty Eyebrow Styling Gel ($4 only at Dollar General Stores) in clear and then filled in my bows using Pixi by Petra Endless Brow Gel Pen ($10.99 at Target) in the shade Deep. I carved out my brows using BH Studio Pro Brow Highlighter ($5 on their website) on the matte side and then primed my lids using the P Louise Base ($13.07 on their website or at Morphe’s website ) in the shade Rumour. For today’s eye look I used the ColourPop Garden Variety Palette ($20 on their website). I set my brow line using the shade Deserted (ivory – matte). As my transition shade I used Stay Sharp (warm mid-tone brown – matte). For my crease and the outer 1/3 of the mobile lid I used the shade Root ‘em Up (deep green brown – matte). For the middle 1/3 of the mobile lid I used a combo of the shades Third Eye (soft green gold – metallic) and Don’t Leaf (soft coral with pink, silver, and gold pearl – super shock). For the remaining inner 1/3 I used just the shade Don’t Leaf (soft coral with pink, silver, and gold pearl – super shock). For my lower lash line I used what was left on the transition and crease brushes to smoke out the lash line. I highlighted my eyes inner corners using a combo of the shades Deserted (ivory – matte) and Wavelength (opal with a gold shift – super shock). I tight lined my upper and lower lash lines using Pixi by Petra Endless Silky Eye Pen ($12 at Ulta) in the shade Black Caviar (deep brown). I coated my lashes with Flower Beauty Lash Warrior Mascara ($9.99 at Ulta) and popped on a pair of Alter Ego False Lashes ($5 on their website) in the style Flare.

Cheeks and Lips:
For blush today I am wearing Milk Makeup Lip + Cheek ($28 at Sephora) in the shade Perk (coral). I lightly set that with Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-HR Blush ($29 at Ulta) in the shade Blissful (bright rose). I touched up my highlighter using Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder ($44 at Sephora) in the shade Highlight 01 (golden nude). I lined my lips using ColourPop Lippie Pencil ($6 on their website) in the shade Frenchie (bright warm red) and then topped off the lips with ColourPop Ultra Blotted Lip ($7 on their website) in the shade Doozy (warm rose).

I really love how deep and smokey this look turned out. I over powdered my under eyes and so there is some texture that just look s dusty but all in all the total look came out just as I imagined it to be.
I tried the ColourPop Ultra Blotted Lippie today and while I love the shade I did not like how dry this formula is …. I would grade it a solid A- . It wasn’t too drying but it did feel dusty and I’m not into those type of lippies anymore.
I’m looking forward to playing with my new stash box, but am a tad disappointed that almost all of the eyeshadow palettes ended up being ColourPop but at least they are all palettes that I adore.

XOXO, Nita
I love your makeup.
