Last Haul of January 2023

Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I’m ok today. Feel a bit run down but all in all still pretty good.

The fur babies are keeping me company today. They seem to always know when I’m run down. and just look at those sweet faces. The black and white one is called Solo and the orange and white one is called Melo.

So today I received my last Ulta haul for January and so I’m gonna swatch and haul it so I can start playing with my new goodies.

Arctic Fox Semi-Permanent Hair Color ($18.49 for 8 fl oz / 236 ml of product at Ulta and Sally’s Beauty) comes in 14 shades and I chose the shade Virgin Pink (pink) and Electric Paradise (neon pink). It’s billed as a cruelty-free, semi-permanent hair dye that is made from only vegan ingredients and zero damage to the hair.

I like to have about 3 applications worth of hair dye in my arsenal and any 1 time. I plan on doing the virgin pink one more time and then I plan to do a combo of the 2 shades for my 3rd application. I absolutely love Arctic Fox. I love the candy scent, I love how gentle it is on my hair, I love that I can literally leave it in my hair all day without worrying that my hair would fall out and I love that it lasts a pretty long time, for being a semi-permanent.

Ardell Lash Faux Mink Wispies 4 Pack ($17.99 at Ulta, but I got them on sale for $12.59) claims a knot-free Invisiband that are lightweight.

Ardell Lash Faux Mink #811 4 PAIR MultiPACK ($17.99 at Ulta, but I got them on sale for $12.59) claims to be  longer on outer corners to create a sexy, flared look and made from xtra fine, soft fibers with light criss-cross layering and medium volume.

Ardell Lash Faux Mink #817 ($17.99 at Ulta, but I got them on sale for $12.59) claims to be lightweight with a knot-free invisiband and an ultra-soft fabulously full lashes create an effortlessly glamorous look.

Ardell Lash Contour Outer Volume Dramatic Eye-Elongating Effect 2 Pack ($12.99 at Ulta, but I got them on sale for $9.09) claims that it adds focused fullness, volume and length to boldly contour the shape of your eyes and that it create the illusion of an angular, elongated cat eye.

KVD Tattoo Liner ($23 for the 0.019 fl ox / 0.55 ml size and $13 for the 0.0006 fl oz / 0.18 ml size at Ulta) is billed as an award-winning, waterproof liquid eyeliner with tattoo-bold pigment and a precise brush tip to easily create sharp lines every time. It comes in 2 shades (I purchased both shades). This shade is Mad Max (brown).

This is a repurchase. I absolutely love this liner formula… I have repurchased this liner over and over ever since it was released.

This shade is Trooper (black).

KVD Super Pomade Vegan Eyeliner, Shadow & Brow Pigment ($23 for 0.18 oz / 5 g of product at Ulta) is billed as a one-pot wonder for waterproof eyeliner, shadow and brows, in many long-lasting colors and claims to be smooth, creamy, instantly bold pigment payoff makes your artistry hassle-free.

First Impression: This is such a creamy product I use it in the shade walnut (dark brown black) for my brows and thought it might be fun to try it in pink since I dyed my hair that color. It’s a bit metallic so I’m a little worried but you only live once right!?

KVD Good Apple Lightweight Full-Coverage Concealer ($28 for 0.33 fl oz / 10 ml of product at Ulta) is billed as an extreme long-wear, crease-resistant concealer with the same hydrating, lightweight full coverage as KVD Beauty’s iconic Good Apple Foundation and claims to be undetectable feel with unforgettable coverage. It comes in 32 shades (I purchased the shade light #103 – fair skin cool oink undertones).

First Impressions: This is a super pretty finish! It’s a satin that has high low coverage and dries down somewhat. It doesn’t dry down all the way so a light powering will be needed and it did not oxidize after 5 minutes.

KVD Good Apple Skin-Perfecting Hydrating Foundation Balm ($40.50 for 0.35 oz / 10 g of product at Ulta) is billed as a lightweight, full-coverage foundation with hydrating, all-day wear and a fresh matte finish and claims to be best for balanced to dry skin but that oily skin can use it if set with a powder.

First Impression: It claims to be a fresh matte (meaning not too matte but not dewy) and I agree with that. It’s kind of a demi matte formula. The shade looks deeper in the pan than it does on the skin and is a spot on face match for me. It does not set down so powder the face if you need it to last a long time. It’s a high low coverage that can be built up to low full coverage with a second pass. It did not oxidize after 5 minutes and I am super excited to test this one out.

For stopping by. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in great spirits and health.

Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.
