Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope.
So mid August I placed an order on the Catrice Cosmetics website and paid for expedited processing and shipping which was to guarantee me my order would be processed and shipped in 3 business days… a week later the order wasn’t processed so I reached out to Catrice and asked for my shipping fee back. They went above and beyond and not only did the refund me my shipping fee but they also refunded me for the total purchase and said they were still sending me the products. I didn’t really believe I would still be getting the products and completely forgot that I had an order with them. Well, today I received my order in the mail. I’m here to haul, swatch and give my first impressions of all the products I had ordered.
*As always… All products listed we purchased for me, all links provided are purely for convenience purposes to help you find the product quickly and are in no way affiliate links. The swatches are done on clean bare skin with no primer and are done in 1 swipe and with flash to maximize color payoff *
Now let’s take a closer look at what I purchased.

Catrice Prime and Fine Dewy Glow Fixing Spray ($8 for 1.69 fl oz / 50 mL of product on their website) is billed as a transparent, fast drying spray to give your skin a dewy, glowing shimmer and can be used for priming, fixing or refreshing.
I don’t have a first impressions as I haven’t opened this one yet. I’m working on an open bottle of setting spray but this one will be the next one I try. I purchased it on Paige from Seeking Alexandria from YouTube. She has raved about this setting spray for at least the past 3 years now.

Catrice Prime and Fine Luminizing Waterproof Powder ($8 0.31 oz / 9 g of product on their website) in the shade radiant beige is billed as a silky waterproof powder with soft focus effect and very fine light-reflecting pigments that creates a long-lasting flawlessly mattified complexion with a natural luminous finish with a universal beige color adapts to every skin tone.
First Impressions: This is the oddest thing on the planet. Firstly, I had thought I placed the order for the Prime and Fine Matte Powder, I’ve hit serious pan on that one… when I first opened this one I was like oh no there is no way that is going to be a good shade match for me… In pan it looks so deep, but after swatching it on my arm I realize it some how shade adjusts… however I did not notice any light reflecting pigments but that could just be because the swatch is concentrated to one spot… I’ll have to test this one out tomorrow and see.

Catrice HD Baking & Setting Loose Powder ($12 for 0.81 oz / 23 g of product on their website) in the shade Transparent, there are 6 shades total, is billed as a silky smooth loose powder that sets makeup resulting in a flawless, airbrushed finished. It claims to be waterproof, ultra lightweight, mattifying and water repellant.
First Impressions: I did the levitation test (where you put a slight amount on the palm of your hand and blow it off the palm, if it floats up before it comes down it is perfect for under the eyes, if it immediately falls to the floor it’s doo heavy for the under eyes) and it passed with high levitation. It’s silky and light weight but seems like it might easily cake up… I shave my arms to make it easiest for swatching and even with a freshly shaved arm it seems to cling to texture and be a hint patchy… I’ll have to test it out to see if the same happens to the face.

Catrice Sun Lover Glow Bronzing Powder ($9 for 0.28 oz / 8 g of product on their website) in the shade 010 Sun Kissed is billed as a silky-soft marbled bronzing powder is ideal for all skin tones that provides a natural looking sun-kissed complexion all year long with super fine light-reflecting pigments provide a fresh and healthy glow.
First Impressions: This bronzer seems like it will be on the subtle side. It has a natural glow to it that is super pretty and reminds me of the Flower Beauty Heatwave Luminous Bronzer ($11.29 for 0.2 oz / 5.67 g of product at Ulta).

Catrice Cheek Lover Oil-Infused Blush ($7 for 0.31 oz / 9 g of product on their website) in the shade 010 Blooming Hibiscus (coral, peachy blush tone with ultra fine golden shimmer particles) is billed as a highly pigmented, baked powder blush infused with hibiscus oil which is rich with skin-enriching vitamins and claims to be a universally flattering shade.
First Impressions: I don’t feel as if this blush is truly universally flatting, I feel that on deeper skin tone this may be too light but would give a pretty highlight but definitely not a blush. However, with that said, this shade is so pretty and reminds me or NARS Orgasm.

Catrice True Skin Hydrating Foundation ($11 for 1.01 fl oz / 30 mL of product on their website) in the shade 002 Neutral Ivory, this foundation comes in 20 shades, 5 for fair, 5 for light, 5 for medium and 5 for deep) and is billed as a long wearing, vegan foundation has medium, buildable coverage that gives your skin a natural “real skin” finish. Formulated with Hyaluronic acid and watermelon seed oil for intense hydration, the True Skin Hydrating Foundation has an ultra lightweight texture that melts into your skin. It claims to be Ultra lightweight and buildable.
First Impressions: This foundation is super creamy and did in fact feel hydrating. I left the swatch on for 10 minutes and it did not oxidize, it also did not set down so you will need to set it with powder.

Catrice True Skin High Coverage Concealer ($6 for 1.01 fl oz / 30 mL of product on their website) in the shade 002 Neutral Ivory, this concealer comes in 15 shades (4 for fair 4 for light, 4 for medium/tan and 3 for deep) and is billed as a waterproof, lightweight texture and provides up to 18 hours of hydrating, high coverage – and it’s vegan.
First Impressions: The first thing I noticed is that even though it is the same shade name as the foundation, the concealer is a tad deeper than the foundation. It’s super creamy and light weight, it doesn’t set down so you will have to set it and didn’t oxidize after 10 minutes.

Catrice Golden Dust Highlighter Drops (retails for $10.99 but is on sale for $5 for 0.47 fl oz / 14 mL of product on their website) is billed as he light reflecting pigments in the CATRICE Highlighter Drops deliver a golden iridescent look. The rich, serum texture feels wonderfully light and provides an ethereal shimmer.
First Impressions: I think this might be too gold for my skin tone, I’ll have to test it out and see. I think it’s pretty but it had too much yellow in the base for fair skin.

Catrice Insta Bae 12 Pan Palette (retails for $15 but is on sale for $12 for 0.44 oz / 12.5 g of product on their website making it 0.037 oz / 1.05 g and $1.25 at retail price or $1.00 at sale price per shade) is billed as an Instagram inspired palette will get you glammed up and ready for that #selfie in no time! The Catrice Insta Bae Eyeshadow Palette contains 12 intensely pigmented eyeshadows in bronzy-golden shades with a variety of matte and metallic-shimmer finishes.
First Impressions: This palette is every bit as amazing as the Basic Bae palette is…. metallics are super pigmented and the mattes are creamy. I really have to buy the other 2 palettes in this series.

The shades from left to right and top picture to bottom picture are: #Insta (icy pearl – metallic), #Trending (light copper – metallic),#Facetune (deep taupe – matte), #Glam (medium reddish brown – matte), #Repost (creamy vanilla – matte), #Blogger (deep chocolate bronze – metallic), #FOMO (yellow gold – metallic), #JOMO (bronze – metallic), #ETOD (champagne – metallic), #Filter (deep reddish copper – metallic), #Dupe (dark brown – matte) and #Swipeup (grey based taupe – metallic).

Catrice Liquid Shadow ($8 for 0.18 fl oz / 5.5 mL of product on their website) is billed as a vegan eyeshadow formula that is waterproof and long-lasting as well as crease proof and fall-out resistant.
This shadow comes in 10 shades, I purchased 3… this shade is 060 Spiritual Seeker (icy white with a slight silver flip – intense metallic).
an I thought they would be. They have a decent dry down time, making it easy for blending out. They are at best water resistant but not waterproof as I was able to use a baby whip to remove the swatches after 5 minutes of dry time.

First Impressions: These liquid shadows are creamier than I thought they would be. They have a decent dry down time, making it easy for blending out. They are at best water resistant but not waterproof as I was able to use a baby whip to remove the swatches after 5 minutes of dry time.
