Mini ColourPop Haul and Swatches

Hey doll hey!!!! I’m back with another mini makeup haul and live swatch. I’ve been waiting to do another purple eye look and couldn’t make up my mind on which of these 2 palettes I wanted to purchase so I bit the bullet and purchased both. I purchased both on the ColourPop website and each palette was $12. So let me introduce you to these pretty little babies…..

The It’s My Pleasure Palette retails for $12 and you get .36 total ounces of product. There are 3 matte shadows, 1 sequin shadow, and 5 metallic shadows. When I swatched this palette I was super impressed at just how pigmented and non patchy these shadows are. It’s hard to create a truly smooth purple shadow without having some skipping. At first glace I don’t think I’m going to have a problem with skipping or muddiness. Let’s take a closer look at the shades ….

The colors from left to right are as follows :  Kittenfish: a cool lavender matte, Do or Dough: a bright lavender with a blue flip metallic, Pretty Cruel: berry mauve with gold flecks sequin, Bare Minimum: berry violet matte, Earthshine: pinky lavender with a blue flip metallic, Chick Lit: deep amethyst metallic, Mr. Sandman: icy rose with a silver reflect metallic, Fan Fiction: dusty pink matte, Sleeper: a deep eggplant matte.

The Lilac You A Lot Palette retails for $12 and you get .36 total ounces of product. There are 4 matte shadows, 1 satin shadow, and 4 metallic shadows. This palette feels a bit drier than the It’s My Pleasure Palette, but not by much… it’s just a bit more powdery. However, it is every bit as pigmented and as easy to blend in. Again I don’t think I will have any problems with skipping or muddiness with this palette either. So let me introduce you to the colors ….

The colors from left to right are as follows : Cloud: icy lavender with a golden flip metallic, Imagine That: Pastel Lavender matte, Ghostin’: a vibrant pinky lilac matte, Wake Me: Orchid with a hot pink flip metallic, Fluff: icy violet with gold and silver reflect metallic, Trainwreck: soft lavender with pink reflect metallic, Zoned Out: dusty pinky mauve matte, Iffy: cool toned true purple matte, Filtered: a reddish plum satin.
