Glam Cut Crease Face of the Day

Hey doll hey!!! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I am feeling so much better today. My throat is still very sore and I still feel very weak, but the rest of my flu symptoms are dissipating. I have a moderate pain level today, around a level 6 …. but for me that is my normal baseline…. I wanted to do a glam look today so I decided to do a tricolor cut crease. So let’s jump into today’s scent and Face of the Day….

Armani Code. This is the first luxury scent I ever purchased. I purchased it back in either 2006 or 2007 when it first came out. I purchased it at Ulta for I believe $70 for 1.7 fluid ounce. The scent notes are: Bitter Orange, Sweet Italian Orange, Tunisian Orange Blossom Absolute, Jasmine Sambac, Ginger,Seringa Flower, Lavender, Honey, Sandalwood, and Vanilla. This is such a multi faceted scent. It isn’t overly feminine…. in my opinion this is a unisex scent…. even though there is a male version of this scent offered. It’s very clean and crisp and unassuming. It’s a great everyday work appropriate scent. I’ve been through maybe 4 bottles of this scent and will always continue to repurchase it.

Base:                                                                                                                                                         I primed my face using Believe Beauty Pretty and Primed Hydrating Primer ($5 at Dollar General). My foundation today is a combo of 1 squeeze of Pixi by Petra Flawless Beauty Primer Hydrating Glow Primer ($22 at Target and on the Pixi Beauty website) and 1 glob of Wet n Wild Photofocus Dewy Foundation ($6.49 at Ulta) in the shade Soft Beige. I lightly color corrected my under eyes using Pixi by Petra Correction Concentrate ($12 at Target and on the Pixi Beauty website) in the shade Brightening Peach. I used 5 dots for each under eye of ELF Hydrating Camo Concealer ($6 at Ulta) in the shade Light Sand. I set my full face using  Believe Beauty Matte Blur Loose Powder ($5 at Dollar General) in the shade Translucent and warmed up my face using Benefit Hoola Bronzer ($30 at Ulta). For touch up powder today I am using Flower Beauty Light Illusion Perfecting Powder ($13.99 at Target) in the shade Beige L4-M1.

Eyes:                                                                                                                                                         I primed my lids using P.Louise Base ($10 pound sterling/ $12.08 USD on their website… can also be found on the Morphie website for $15) in the shade Rumour 0.5 and set that using RCMA No Color Powder ($15 on the Beautylish website) For today’s eye look I used the Too Face Chocolate Bar Palette ($49 at Ulta). For my transition shade I used the color Milk Chocolate (muted brown matte). To deepen the outer 1/3 of the mobile lid and the crease I used the shade Semi-Sweet (medium brown matte). I went in at the very top of the transition shade and used a touch of the shade Salted Caramel (soft fawn matte) to add a bit more dimension. I used more of the P.Louise Base to cut my creases and then used the shade Marzipan (rose gold metallic) on the inner 2/3 of my mobile lid. I then went in with the shade Amaretto (deep pinky bronze metallic) and placed that on the outer edge of the cut crease. I then went in with the shade Creme Brulee (antique gold metallic) and placed that in the middle of the cut crease to blend the inner and outer colors together. I then went in with the shade Cherry Cordial (deep plum brown matte with a hint of  purple sparkle) and placed that on the outer 1/3 of the mobile lid and outer v. For the lower lash line I used more of the shade Salted Caramel to create a drop shadow and then deepened the lash line using more of the shade Cherry Cordial. To highlight the inner corners I used the shade Champagne Truffle (ballet slipper pink metallic). I lined my lower waterlines using ColourPop BFF Creme Gel Liner ($6 on their website) in the shade Get Paid (a rose gold metallic). I set my brows using Maybelline Great Lash Mascara ($6.99 at Ulta but I purchased mine from Amazon) in clear and then filled in my brows using Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil ($24 at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade 4.5 and then I carved out my brow line using the BH Studio Pro Brow Highlighter ($5 on their website) on the shimmer side and set the brow line using the shade White Chocolate (creamy beige matte). I popped on a pair of Ardell Studio Effects Lashes ($5.99 at Ulta) in the style Wispies and coated my upper and lower lashes with L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara ($8.99 at Ulta).

Cheeks and Lips:                                                                                                                               For blush today I am wearing the ELF Primer Infused Blush ($6 at Ulta and the ELF website) in the shade Always Punchy (a bright coral matte). Today I highlighted the tops of my cheeks, bridge of the nose, Cupid’s Bow, and high points of the brow using Revolution Beauty Highlighter Reloaded () in the shade Dare to Divulge. I lined my lips using ColourPop Lippie Pencil (no longer sold by itself… can be found in the Lippie Pencil Vault) in the shade Oh Sis (smoked paprika) and I filled in the lips using BH Cosmetics and It’s My Raye Raye Lipstick (is limited edition and no longer available) in the color Rosy Raye (a beautiful mid toned rose red matte).

Final Thoughts:                                                                                                                                  I’m finally starting to feel better. I knew it was only the Flu. I still feel weak but I’ll get my strength back in a few days time as long as I rest up.

The P.Louise Base is some amazing stuff!!! It made doing my cut creases a breeze. I placed an order for a back up because I can already tell that I am not going to be able to put this primer down.

Well that’s all for now dolls. I hope you have a great rest of your day/night, that you are safe and healthy, and that you are in good spirits. Remember dolls… Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.

XOXO
