Hey doll hey! How’s your day/night going? Great I hope. I got up around 10:30 AM today. First time is a little while I wake up before noon. Hopefully this means my flare is finally over. I still feel a bit nauseous but my pain level is down from 9 to 6 so that’s improvement.
I’m still not wearing any perfume do to the nausea but I really miss my perfume collection.
For today’s eye look I wanted to concentrate on the sequin shadows that are in the ColourPop Bare Necessities Palette and this was the look I came up with …. So let’s jump into today’s Face of the Day ….

Base:
I primed my face using I Heart Revolution Coconut Dream Hydrating Primer ($8 at Ulta) and I primed my pore areas using Tarte Clean Slate Timeless Smoothing Primer ($39 at Ulta). I then used Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter ($44 at Sephora) in the shade 3. For foundation today I chose NYX Born to Glow Naturally Radiant Foundation ($10 at Ulta) in the shade Nude. I contoured using Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand ($38 at Sephora) in the shade Medium/Dark. I bronzed the face using Tarte Breezy Cream Bronzer ($29 at Sephora) in the shade Grace Bay. I highlighted the high points of my face using Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Beauty Light Wand ($38 at Sephora) in the shade Spotlight. I concealed my under eyes using ELF Hydrating Camo Concealer ($6 at Ulta) in the shade Light Sand. I set my under eyes using Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder ($28 at Ulta and Sephora). I set my bronzer using Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer ($15.99 at Ulta) in the regular bronzer shade. I set my highlight using Too Faced Born This Way Turn Up The Light Highlighting Palette ($42 at Ulta and Sephora) in the Light color way and using the shade Glow. I set the rest of the face using Too Faced Born This Way Ethereal Loose Setting Powder ($33 at Ulta) in the shade Translucent. For my setting powder I’ve chosen BH Studio Pro Matte Finish Pressed Powder (usually $9.50 but on sale for $4.75 on their website) in the shade 230.

Eyes:
I set my brows using Believe Beauty Eyebrow Styling Gel ($4 only at Dollar General stores) in clear and filled in my brows using Milani Stay Put Brow Color ($8.49 at Ulta) in the shade 05 Dark Brown. I carved out my brow line using BH Studio Pro Brow Highlighter ($5 on their website) on the matte side and then primed the rest of my lids using the P.Louise Base ($10 pound sterling/ $12.08 USD on their website… can also be found on the Morphie website for $15) in the shade Rumour 0.5. For today’s eye look I used shadows from the ColourPop Bare Necessities Palette ($34 on their website). I started by setting my brow line using a combo of the shades In the Buff (neutral pale pinky beige – matte) and Full Exposé (creamy vanilla – matte). I then went in with the shade Complicated (warm rust brown with gold pinpoints – sequin) from lash line to brow line. I then went in with the shade Spree (rosey blush with gold flecks – sequin) on the outer 1/3 of the mobile lid and the outer v of the crease. I then went in with the shade Baubles (deep cool toned brown with silver flecks – sequin) to deepen 1/2 of the outer 1/3 of the mobile lid and the very outer part of the outer v of the crease. For the remaining 2/3 of the mobile lid I first went in with the shade Tease Me (pale creamsicle with gold flecks – sequin) and then I went in with the shade Silk Teddy (nude champagne – metallic) over the top of that. I then went in with the shade Cufflinks (rosey purple with a pink sheen – metallic) to pat over the line of delineation between the outer 1/3 and the inner 2/3 of the mobile lid to blend the shades together. For the lower lash line I went in with more of the shade Complicated dusted lightly through the lash line and then with more of the shade Spree really close to the lash line to add depth. I then highlighted my inner corners using a combo of more of the shade Silk Teddy and the shade Idol Hour (warm ivory with a pale peach sheen – metallic). I lined my lower waterlines using ColourPop BFF Gel Creme Liner ($6 on their website) in the shade Get Paid (rose gold metallic). I used 2 coats of Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Lashes Mascara ($29 at Sephora) in the shade Glossy Black.

Cheeks and Lips:
For blush today I am wearing Tarte Sugar Rush Beach Cheeks Cream Blush ($15 at Ulta) in the shade Beaches and Cream (peachy pink). I set the cream blush using Tarte Amazonian 12-HR Blush ($29 at Ulta and Sephora) in the shade Blushing Bride (rosey pink). I lined and filled in my lips using ColourPop Lippie Pencil ($6 on their website) in the shade Another Round (rosey nude) and then topped off my lips using ColourPop Lippie Stix (only available in the Big Box of Lippie Stix Vault that was limited edition) in the shade At Twilight (warm muted coral – creme). I finished off my look with Too Faced Born This Way Turn Up The Light Highlighting Palette ($42 at Ulta and Sephora) in the Light color way … I used the middle shade called Soft Focus as a finishing powder.

Final Thoughts:
I wanted to keep this look light and ethereal so I opted not to go for eye liner on the upper lash line or false lashes.
I just love the sequin shadows in this palette they are so pretty and give just enough sparkle to ad dimension without it being a super glittery look.
I just realized after doing my makeup that I’ve yet to play with the ELF x JKISSA eye shadow palette so I am hoping to use it tomorrow for a little rainbow realness.

Well that’s all for now dolls. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day/night and that you are in good health and good spirits.
Remember…. Save a spoon for a bit of lipstick.
XOXO, Nita
